"A hidden gem! During my time living near Allen Road, I found myself having lunch here almost every day and I have such fond memories of it. I would often switch between four slices of Chicken Marsala, Buffalo Chicken, White Pizza with Vegetables, and Chicken Caesar. I'm a big fan of crust, and their thicker pizza crust is the best in my opinion, which greatly contributes to my love for their entire pizza selection. Their Grilled Chicken Caesar is also my favorite salad pizza, especially when loaded with cheese and paired with a crust that complements it perfectly. However, I did notice that when I ordered a whole Chicken Caesar pizza, the toppings tended to slide off. Ordering by the slice seems to work better, as it allows for a second heating, which helps the toppings adhere more. I truly miss this place! It’s a fantastic family-run business. I miss you all and wish you the best of luck!"

"We moved from NYC recently and I’m a trained cook that worked throughout the food industry for years... I am BEYOND thrilled to have found M&M Perrotti’s. I cook constantly for my family of 4 and for friends, so I went into Perrotti’s for its excellent meats. I walked in and saw a fantastic selection of prepared foods and sampled 4 different dinners right off the bat because of how well prepared they looked, how nicely packaged they were, and the clear ease of preparing them with instructions printed on the labels. I have a bottomless stomach so I heated up all 4 that same night to sample and my husband, who after being married to a professional cook for almost 2 decades isn’t easily impressed, stopped after the second bite and said “where did you get this??” Nothing they make misses the mark from chicken pot pie to ravioli. Complimented the owner, Mario (the nicest), and he told me I had to have the eggplant parm. I purposefully had been waiting on that because it’s my favorite... well, I just heated it up and Mario was right it’s THE BEST EGGPLANT PARM I HAVE EVER HAD. I actually ate half the pan and signed on to write this review. It’s that good. So incredibly tender and well seasoned I am cutting through multiple layers of thinly sliced eggplant with a butter knife. There’s no acrid aftertaste that some eggplant parms leave. It’s honestly perfect. I’m going to stock up on these next week because I want to be able to have it as my comfort go to. Also as someone formerly from the food industry, I love these guys as butchers. They took such great care of me when I was looking for chicken bodies for stock. I am going to do a dry aged ribeye for my husband and I soon. And the biggest thing they are meticulously clean. I love to watch kitchens clean down before and after service and at close because it makes me feel confident in the food safety standards. I watched these guys go over every single surface. Love love love this place and stocking up here is going to get me through 2020."

"I discovered this restaurant conveniently located near a Tesla supercharging station. I'm not sure if they have indoor seating, as you can place your order at the window, and there's plenty of outdoor seating available. They offer a wide variety of flavors and a large selection of toppings. There are only two size options for ordering, but the prices are very reasonable for the large size. In fact, the regular size could easily satisfy two people. You can choose up to four flavors and three toppings for each order (one order equals either a regular or large cup). I believe there were more ordering options, like cones, before COVID-19, so hopefully those will return in the future."

"Dining on the eve to Christmas eve is never a bright idea, neither is going out to eat during a snow bomb forecast. The young inexperience host was about to seat us out in the tent, where the roof was about to fly off, heater not working adequately and was persistent to seat us outside anyway. In this business you need to adjust and not be a robot. We asked for the manager and he acted on the spot to rectify the situation. The evening still had many eventful moments, and where there was power outage, no electricity no exhaust in the kitchen, no exhaust trips the smoke alarm, blaring alarm added to an eventful evening, but they trudged on! As we were leaving, the outside tent was discontinued probably a wise insurance decision for the safety of the staff and more importantly the diners. They should've adjusted earlier because many diners didn't honor their reservation. I'M JUST GLAD THAT IM NOT LONGER IN THIS BUSINESS!"

"Coming from Berkeley Heights, I was looking for something different with quality food. I was not disappointed in the Trading Post. Julie, our server, was engaging. She was by herself and based on that, did a great job.The newly renovated hotel, at least the lobby and dining area are bright and comfortable. The prices were reasonable. The only thing that disappointed me was that we couldn't get a mimosa as there is some restriction to serving alcoholic beverages before noon. Other than that, I recommend the Trading Post."

"We had an excellent meal at this restaurant! It was our first time dining here, recommended by a friend. We always enjoy a good BYO restaurant, and this one fit the bill. Our reservation was at 8:45 on a Friday, and the place was still bustling with customers. Although the space was a bit loud, making it difficult to have a conversation, the service was very friendly and attentive. We started with the meatballs as an appetizer, and the portion of 6 was more than enough for us to share. I ordered the stuffed shells, which were delicious with a hint of prosciutto in the filling. My husband tried the veal parmesan and was impressed, as he always orders this dish at Italian restaurants. The generous portions meant we had leftovers to take home. We definitely plan on returning, but next time we may ask to be seated in the front area for a quieter dining experience."
