"This has been my go-to 5 Star restaurant at Beaver Creek. While the service and ambiance remain great, the food on this visit was surprisingly uninspiring. Corn Soup as a starter was delicious. For entrees, my wife had the lamb (liked it but didn't love it) and I had the beef (chewy rather than tender). Maybe just an off night in the kitchen? We'll give it another try in the future, but it would be a shame if the Grouse Mountain Grill becomes just another over-priced ordinary Beaver Creek restaurant."

"I visited for lunch and had a disappointing experience. The waiter took 30 minutes to bring our drinks. Everyone at the table ordered steaks, but none were cooked properly. We also ordered a salad as a starter, which never arrived, and we had to remind the waiter about the spinach artichoke dip; when it finally came, it was cold. After that, we never saw the waiter again to address the undercooked steaks (one of which was literally raw). I spoke with the manager to request that they remove the untouched steak and the missing salad from our bill. She was kind and apologetic, but it’s clear they need to improve their kitchen operation and waitstaff service."

"We used to love coming to this restaurant, it's a planned stop every trip out west. The food is outstanding However, they've expanded the restaurant again and now have a large seated bar and the sushi bar. This overly crowds the tables. My wife and I had a table for two, at least three separate times we had to ask people standing nearby and those seated at the sushi bar to not back into us and our table. There are no tables except for two in the expanded area that are for groups of at least that are not directly in the line of traffic. Considering the cost of this restaurant, our dinner was over for two (and that was with a reasonable bottle of wine), it isn't worth the price anymore Sorry to say, we won't return. There are too many other very good restaurants in the area for high end dinners that have an enjoyable ambiance."

"Over priced because they can. location....Oyster po-boy...literally...a scoop of peppers and onions and a remnant of an oyster...almost $40....sent it back...waiter said they have no idea why that nonsense is on the menu...everyone complains...food is fine. just that. average sushi at Michelin star pricing. skip this place. positive reviews are BS....it is average sushi at best...with servers running like crazy to keep upscale customers happy while serving Denny's quality food...expensive is to be expected in mountain towns...but this place is off the chart expensive for garbage....."

"Hey hey great great spot for families and amazing service. If you go, ask for Cam, a local native who is absolutely delightful. Parents, kids alike will enjoy their time there and Cam 's second to none hospitality. A little more detail...Cam made the experience second to none. He knows pizza and has worked a number of stations in the shop. That makes for a great convo about what to order, etc. Then, he 's got a great demeanor and makes everyone feel valued. Major major props on his contribution to our experience. Then, the pizza and drinks came out lickety split. We were all amazed at how fast the pizza came out, piping hot. And good! Pizza doesn 't have to be all Portnoy worthy but hot and well done. The staff made it happen. This is clearly a very well run restaurant, and leadership is deep here. The team is aligned and has a heart for hospitality. Cannot recommend this spot more and highly advise that you request a seat in Cam 'a section. FYI...we going back tomorrow night!"

"Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. The service was excellent, with David as our waiter. He provided wonderful recommendations for both food and drinks and was very knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was truly delicious— we ordered the elk, veal, and agnolotti, and all three dishes were exceptional. A big shoutout to the kitchen team for their outstanding work. Tony and Ryan are my favorites, and the pastry chefs do a great job as well."

"Started the evening with a pleasant host who seated us immediately in a lovely room. We had immediately been greated by a wonderful waiter who filled our water glasses and showed us how to access the menu. The wine selection was spectacular. My daughter ordered the lamb meatballs which were indulged with a very tasty sauce. I had the lamb dish which far exceeded my lamb dish the night prior at the Chop house at a far less price. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Alfredo pasta dish with chicken. I had to order and absolutely loved the sticky toffee pudding dessert. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation here. I can’t say enough about the service, food and ambiance. We plan to return again this trip it was that good"

"Do this for the experience as well as the meal and you’ll have a fun, memorable night out. For the sleigh ride up sit facing backwards. Seeing the village lights as you go up the mountain is beautiful, and you won’t have the wind in your face. We were lucky to have a full moon the night of our reservation. Our food was very good, the drinks even better, and the service was first rate. Shout-out to Bronson our server for his spot-on recommendations, the bartender who mixes a perfectly balanced Old Fashioned, and the especially kind sleigh attendant from Oklahoma."

"Excellent food. Service a little slow. No reservation, walked in with 5. Seated immediately. Server was excellent and informed us that this was a tapas restaurant (however, portions very large and shareable) and food comes out as prepared. Had short rib, lobster tacos, chicken sliders, chicken and waffles. The food was excellent, and since I have 3 kids, I got to eat a little of it all. Regarding service, our server was also the hostess. This is not a negative on the restaurant, you will be happy with the wait. Would highly recommend!"

"I don’t normally write reviews on restaurants. This is actually my first. The reason for writing is to inform the next patrons of black diamond bistro to choose an alternative venue. This was a really bad experience from the interactions with the hostess to the moment the waiter said “i am sorry to inform you, but your meal is going to take another 15 minutes.” This was after we had been there for an hour and the whole restaurant was empty. Shockingly, the food was cold when served. It was my sons birthday and you would have thought they would have at least comp’d the dessert to make up for our experience, but they didn’t. This goes to show it is not just a fluke, bad night situation. This is an issue with culture. Sad because we were really looking forward to a great meal and great experience."
