"Ordered the IT Sando and a turmeric latte after spending a weekend with non-vegan family where I literally only ate baby carrots, raw broccoli, and protein bars. I was effing ravenous for some real food. The IT Sando absolutely hit the spot. Perfect amount of sauce, great flavor, tasty toasted bread with little millet seeds interspersed throughout millet flour in gluten free bread adds fluff. Great texture. It was small (perhaps larger on glutinous bread, as thats usually the case) but hit the spot after feeling deprived for a couple days. I also ordered the turmeric latte which is stated as being made with Laird superfood turmeric and original creamer its a coconut-based creamer and maple syrup. I actually was so underwhelmed with the latte that I returned it. It just tasted like someone had put a dash of turmeric in sugar water. My partner and his brother had the aa super berry smoothies with strawberries instead of bananas (tragic banana allergy and they liked them but didnt think the 12 oz bevs were worth the $9 price tag. All in all, basing my experience on one sandwich, Id recommend this place. Next time in Bend Id like to go back and try their other offerings."

"I'm shocked that this is the first HappyCow review for Bonta! Although you can buy their sorbetto at the grocery store, visiting the shop for a cone in the middle of summer is essential. I wish that they had more dairy-free options, but the coconut flavors are delicious with a good texture in particular. You can also try mixing in some of the Jem nut butter (available in the front) for some additional variety. The line can grow long during the summer, but service is relatively fast regardless and the staff are super friendly."

"Nice people, convenient location near Drake Park, and good food. Enjoyed breakfast 2 days in a row over the weekend. For both visits, we got our name on waitlist around 11:30am. Friendly staff but inconsistent plates. Saturday was less busy (less than half hour wait) with bakeries available and food was excellent! Sunday was busy (one hour wait) no bakeries available, and a same plate was disappointing (over salted, hollandaise was poor, and stingy compared to day before). Had Tri-Tip steak Benedict both days, again excellent on Saturday, not so much on Sunday. Frittata on Saturday was delicious and quiche on Sunday was disappointing (over salted, stingy filling). So, our takeaway is if wait is 30 minutes or less, you'll probably get a great plate. If longer, you may be taking your chances, though it may have been a staffing issue. Recommended with caution. Cheers!"

"Typically, coffee shops try too hard to exude a cool vibe when they're not, but this one is genuinely exceptional—1000/10! The staff is amazing, kind, and friendly. They roast their coffee on-site, resulting in incredible brews. I tried their maple latte, and it was delightful; many coffee shops overdo the syrup these days, but this one strikes the perfect balance—you can taste the maple without it being overly sweet. They offer outdoor seating for dog owners, and the atmosphere is open and spacious. The almond croissant is also quite substantial. The merchandise is of great quality, so I couldn’t resist picking up a hoodie; their branding is simple and clean. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends—10/10!"

"We went out for date night on a Monday Evening and there were some active tables but they definitely weren't busy. The food was very, very good; but we were pretty disappointed that the service was slow and disoriented, especially when waiting for drinks. Our server kept coming to our table saying things like, "oh, that hasn't been brought over to you yet and "let me go try to find that for that for you We also requested a meal to-go to be brought out at the end of our meal so we could enjoy a night cap and bring home hot food to our guest, but instead all of our food was brought out at one time including the bagged up to-go item. This is not the first time that according to our server, "the kitchen just decided to make all of it at once The last time I dined here for lunch we received all our apps and entrees at the exact same time and the server apologized because they asked for it to be spaced out. This all definitely makes me a little nervous on what service could be expected on a busy, weekend night. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the food really is delicious"

"My wife and I have been customers at the Washington from the week it opened. The growing NWX area needed a restaurant like this and staff and service was excellent for many years. We spent a lot of good value for money evenings here. For a few years they rested on their laurels, in our opinion service levels dropped and staff interactions were odd at times, for a while we stopped coming in. The area now has alternative options and it's nice to see that the Washington has stepped up their standards with helpful and friendly staff, great food, great allergy free options, and an experience that reminds us of those early years. The standards are high and the experience is relaxing and fun. Their other restaurant, Mountain Burger is also excellent."

"As soon as we sat down the waitress started rushing us kept coming over asking us if we knew what we wanted and we just opened the menu. I asked her to please give us a few minutes that we would like to look at the menu My husband and myself are out on a date and we hadn't gone out in a very very long time. The waitress said okay left for about 2 minutes came back have and said again have you decided I said please give us a few minutes. Then finally we ordered and I don't even know what I ordered but at least it was good . And we wanted to tell her we had the wrong drinks and that we wanted some chip and green sauce and she was over at socializing in the area with the other waitresses and waiter and wouldn't even come over to us. So she rushed us through making a order to go socialize and not even come back to the table And then people came in that she knew and was very attentive to them brought in their food before our food got on their drinks socialize with them and won't even look twice at our table The food was awesome but she even gave us the wrong drinks. she just disappeared and then did not come back to the table until she until we got our food she ask if we wanted anything and we went to say something and she walked away so the waitress was horrible horrible and we wanted some chips and things and it's just horrible service and we spent $50 that night. The sad thing was we would have tipped her awesome but she was too busy talking to her friends that came in to order and making sure they were taken care of and socializing with the other waitresses and waiters in the back and just rushed us through. And then when we finally saw her again she brought us a to go box and she just shoved all my food in there on top of each other it was pretty gross looking again she just wanted to get done with us. I even told her I wanted to put my food in to go box and she took my plate and just put it in there anyway I'm very disappointed in the way we were treated because we were not her friends or someone she knew"

"Never going back. The server brought out a meal my girlfriend and her friend didn't order--veggie tempura, which neither wanted nor ordered (and she never ended up eating even a bite). They made her pay for it in the end though. The server was not kind about it though. Also, as an added inconvenience, they will no longer allow to split the bill, instead they'll only allow 50/50. While that isn't the worst, having to pay for a meal you didn't order nor eat should be a crime. Imagine walking into a store and being handed random clothes that you don't want and told to pay for them. Ridiculous! Makes me wonder how often they get extra money by doing this."

"Very understaffed and disorganized. Though the wait staff apologized, and were very sweet, it was still tough. Kids make your own pizzas took 45 minutes and the adults took 1 hour to get food on the table. We were over charged on 2 items it was corrected) and 2 couples split the tab, but one card was charged for the entire meal. Again, it had to be corrected."

"Made reservations for my daughter’s birthday dinner. Seated on time. Ordered my fav fried chix w cornbread. Carrot hummus was delish. Chicken entree arrived overly dark and crispy accompanied with dry burned cornbread .My daughter’s gnudi could’ve used some lemon to reduce the rich cream in the sauce. She couldn’t eat it. Quite disappointed. Would not recommend either."

"They recently changed the menu and doubled the prices sadly. 4 pieces of small vegetarian ravioli are now $30 instead of $17. Food was good, our service was a bit slow, tables that ordered after us did receive their drinks and food first. Had a situation where I called before our reservation to check on a gift card and the woman I spoke with was so dang rude and actually talked over me and then hung up on me. I was so shocked. She didn’t know we’d be in in a couple of hours to dine and I wonder if this is how they treat people when they’re not in front of a guest or worried about a tip. I called back to finish asking my question and someone different answered. I told her what happened and that we had a reservation at 5:30 She apologized for the treatment but she shouldn’t have to apologize for a coworkers rude behavior. I was considering cancelling the reservation but it was with other people so decided to keep it. We go to salute about every other month and unfortunately I don’t think we’ll go back. I mean she was so dang rude when I called to inquire about something. Like she just didn’t have time and then hanging up on me was uncalled for. The staff acted really weird when we arrived and I wonder if our table was “forgotten” because of the situation on the phone. All in all it’s put a sour opinion of their establishment. I heard they have new owners so maybe the attitude shift is part of new ownership. Staff might be overwork hey maybe it was one of the owners that hung up on me I have no idea. Good luck!"

"Worth driving to bend to eat here. Okay, I'd first off say im not a fan of latin foods. I wasn't excited to come here but our party had a individual with celiac and this was our only option. The saff was super friendly and professional. My mask broke and he provided me with a new kn95 one. The setting for the place is cute and the music selection was older songs with some reggae and ska. Ordered Paella and a bunch of other things. The ingredients were fresh and succulent. The salmon were thick cut ~1in and not those tiny filets and cooked to perfection with an amazing sear. The rock fish was even better. The paella ? reminded me of the ones in Spain. The flavors were authentic and just enough crisp with out getting stuck in your teeth. I normally don't like calamari but theirs was so soft and tender. Their cauliflower bowl was super good and the sweetness was just right. I had an issue with one of my dishes and the saff handled it very well. Their homemade sodas were refreshing and I think they were great. I would say that they are most definitely not on the sweeter side. Everyone on my table said it was bitter. I personally wouldn't change it but maybe let the customers know or have an option for added sweetness. Overall, bravo! In my opinion, of the best latin restaurants in the state of Oregon and the prices were great. If I was not 100 miles away I'd be eating here weekly. All I know is everytime im in bend, ill be coming here. Or ill be coming to bend just to eat here. Finally, the bathroom door has a foot opener so the staff dont touch the door after washing their hands +1."

"After searching high and low for a restaurant that ticked all the boxes, we finally struck gold at Brickhouse. The experience was fantastic, from the attentive service to the mouthwatering dishes. We kicked things off with two appetizers, both absolute standouts. The prawns amaretto were a flavor explosion: juicy prawns perfectly complemented by the sweet and nutty pistachios and honey topping on a creamy polenta base. The prime meatballs were equally impressive hearty and satisfying, served with melt in your mouth cheesy bread. Speaking of bread, the house made option was phenomenal, warm and fresh. To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious bottle of Owen Roe Yakima Red 2020 Red Bordeaux Blend that paired beautifully with the food. If you 're looking for a restaurant that delivers excellence on both the food and service fronts, Brickhouse is a must try!"

"Usually very good, we go every month or so, but had a bummer experience last night. The sides for the two fajita orders came out 10-15 before the sizzling platters so had cold beans/rice by the time everything was together. 15 minutes span between first dish to last dish brought to the table. Wasn’t that busy either. My daughter ordered Baja Salad with Mahi and was brought a totally different dish with shrimp in a bed of lettuce garnish. She said to keep it and they would bring the proper order because she wanted a salad, after 30 minutes she came back and asked if we still wanted it when we were almost done. Oh well, I’ll still keep going because the food is great!"

"We were hopefully optimistic, as our small plates were pretty good. Though how do you mess up raw oysters and deviled eggs. Though, when our waiter brought us the spicy eggs, and they only tasted mildly mustard y, I should have been forewarned. My husband 's risotto was tasteless. It did not taste at all like a risotto, it tasted like rice cooked with onions and water. In fact, the most predominate flavor was the onion. My pork chop with porcini dumplings flavorless, again. And in addition, the dumplings were actually savory bread puddings, and were burnt on the bottom. Suffice it to say, we were less than pleased."

"Found Dang's by complete accident! My hub wanted Carl's Jr and when we pulled in I saw Dangs and decided to see what they have (I'm vegetarian). They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. I got the Yakisoba Noodles with veggies and Veggie Salad Rolls. I was not disappointed. Super yummy! Can't wait to have my leftovers for lunch! Service was great, price is right, restaurant is clean and cozy."

"Ordered our pizza over two and a half hours ago that 5:47 it’s now 8:03 using their online portal and have been charged for it and still don’t have our pizza. They won’t pick up the phone and they used to have really good service. I’ll never order from you guys again!!"

"I wanted something simple today and I was not disappointed! I got some California rolls, tamagotchi nigiri and mixed tempura appetizers and they were very good! The California rolls, were perfectly portioned, not too much rice or too much avocado/cucumber and had a good flavor mix of the Krab mix. The tempura was still hot when it got to my house and the dipping sauce was balanced and not too salty. Ill always live a good tamago and they make it just sweet enough. Overall, very good for delivery time and price in Bend."

"Cosy, family-friendly breakfast/lunch café. We had to park along the road and wait about 8 minutes for a table. Once sitting, we were visited quickly and efficiently. It was difficult to choose a few dishes as they all sound good! We chose the Pacific Crab Eggs Benedict, Earth Harvest Benedict and Caramel Apple French Toast. Every dish was just... so delicious! Not excessively flavored or heavy, and they tasted clean. In addition, all dishes were proportionate for their price. What really turned out was the homemade Apple sauce, as we never had anything like that. We also ordered the Chai tea that came with a cinnamon stick, making it more authentic. We had a great experience here with food and hospitality. We hope to visit again soon!"

"I 've never eaten inside here so can 't comment on the atmosphere, but I do love this place!Really surprised someone else that reviewed felt they ended up with canned chicken salad in a quesadilla. Maybe the place ran outta chicken and had to come up with a quick fix?Either way, I 've eaten here several times and have never had a bad experience. The people that own this taco joint are super nice and friendly too! Someone said in a review that the place is always packed but I never see anyone here; the parking lot is always empty so I thought I would write this review in hopes that Lucy 's will be around forever to serve our community. I did notice however that they have over 400 reviews so they must not be doing too badly. The tacos are delicious and huge, as are the breakfast burritos, definitely hard to beat in this economy, especially compared with some of the trendier taco spots in town (I 'm looking at you El Sancho; Hablo you 're right there with 'em! . Go to Lucy 's and get your money 's worth!"
