"Really wanted to like this place. The ambiance was great, and the service was incredible, but 3 out of 4 of us got sick. I was the only one who didn't eat the scallops and had a good steak. Hubby's rib eye was tough, the lasagna was bland and tasted funny, the chicken marsala had a sweet sauce instead of savory and my baked potato wasn't cooked all the way. The highlight was the bruschetta. but after all that and paying $300, it wasn't enough to garner a good review. Peppercorn mgmt needs to get rid of those scallops!"

Portions are large, my parents and I shared the mixed grill it was steamed shrimp, lamb and chicken (like fajitas) and we also got shrimp noodles with vegetables, my dad tried Indian beer tan majal for the first time he said it was a very light beer. Servers are amazing! They are on top of things, this was our first time at the big bear village and we didn’t want to wait outside to be seated anywhere else, this little spot had no wait time at all, outdoors seating and it’s super elegant inside !! "Absolutely the best Italian spot I've been to in a long time! Ryan and Megan killed it with service from walking through the door to the final goodbye. Upon walking in, you're met with the best aromas coming from the kitchen. The atmosphere was on point for a dinner date. Had the fresh bread oil, grilled artichoke, and beet salad to start with a bottle of cab. The mains consisted of the mushroom truffle pasta and eggplant parmesan. My partner is vegan, and they were very attentive to her requests. Everything was delicious and the service impeccable. Highly recommend, we will absolutely return again. Be sure to reserve as it is a very intimate setting. Long waits should be expected without a reservation. "Mexican food is my favorite, and I've tried all the local restaurants, including Azteca Grill, El Jacalito Grill, Hacienda Grill, Muchachos, and 909 Taqueria. Gaby's Latin Flavors, however, is just average Mexican cuisine at three times the price of others. It's simply overpriced. Anyone giving this place high ratings must either work there or have never experienced authentic Mexican food. The Bolivian twist they advertise is not what you'd expect. They charge you before you even sit down. Be cautious of the loud bartender; she tends to add an exorbitant tip to your bill without having provided any significant service. Her behavior felt more like I was in downtown LA than a local restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend this place—there are far better options in Big Bear that are much more reasonably priced!"

"If you are not WHITE PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME. We walked in, one server gave us the menu right away. However, for 25 mins nobody asked for our order and it WAS NOT BUSY AT ALL. My girlfriend, had to walk up to the bar to place our order. Sparks, the brunette lady, was ignoring us the whole time and was ON HER PHONE. Mind you that’s also another 15 mins wait. Please, if you’re going to be racist, Just save us time and put a sign outside your business. THIS IS NOT HOW CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE."

"what can I say except this place is delicious. meatloaf- delicious savory. kartoffels were great, vegetables were perfectly steamed avocado jack wrap- perfect for a hot day. light, tasteful and easy to eat. land fried Steak-I had a lot of cfs and that was the only fish that reminded me of the cooking art of my grandmother, perfect crispy on the outside, soft and chewing inside, the cookies and gravy was on point, I had no cookies that were good in years. gravy was fleshy and tasty, nothing bland or strengthening. all about a great place to eat."

"I went to Grind Grill for lunch and was not disappointed! The service was excellent and the food was amazing! They ran out of an ingredient, but apologized multiple times. The chef even came out personally to apologize and check on our dining experience. The loaded mac n cheese was incredibly tasty, and the burger was big and juicy. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal and supporting this restaurant!"

"Service was terrible, server didn’t know anything about the food. She was nice enough, but far from knowledgeable. Another employee kept wanting to clear our plates, so we finally handed them to her with mouths full of food and forks in our hands. That was a bit annoying. Wine list is way overrated and WAY overpriced. It definitely seems like a “wannabe” restaurant. Everything is totally overrated. Food was actually good, but that was the only positive about our experience. Server said they didn’t have potatoes, but somehow my scallops came out with potatoes on the plate. Confused me even more. Glad I didn’t pay the for the venison that I really wanted to try. I would have ordered it if our server knew how it was prepared and what it came with. Everything about this place other than how the food tasted, was annoying and a complete letdown"

I’ve known Gabriel and Maria Rojas for thirty-five years, and they have worked tirelessly to support the Big Bear business community. "I highly recommend the carne asada fries appetizer from here. It's a huge portion to share-especially if you just want a snack. However, my partner and I couldn't finish it which is a first for us. There was so much meat on it that we didn't finish. Also I loved the pineapple Pico so much on it that I asked for more. "hacienda was a delicious authentic Mexican restaurant. we were greeted by the nicest staff. they set us fast. they bought chips and salsa with water as we sat. the green salsa was my fave! it was so spicy that I loved it! the tortilla soup came nice and hot for this cold weather. loved the huge triangular food of cheese. They also load the suppe with so much huh. my fish taco was delicious! the grilled Ahi selection loved her. I gave the green salsa. had no chance to eat my carne asada taco because I was so full. but because it had so much meat, I added some on my Mexican rice and green salsa and it was bomb. the rice was my favorite because it was so fluffy and tasty. you could simply try the tomats in the rice and light garlic. my man has swallowed his enchiladas. I tasted the pulled bark and it was delicious. beautiful and tender! at the end they brought me a chocolate with strawberries. I was so full, but wanted dessert so that this beautiful surprise was a great tasty! I loved her hospitality. Whenever we visit, we will definitely be over again! the whole flesh was $49."

"We came to visit on NYE and our party was served by Arturo who was incredible. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to give recommendations based on gluten sensitivity. "It’s a cute restaurant in the village ! It’s not far from the lake. I ordered Avocado and Bacon omelette with hash browns, it’s quite delicious! The staff is helpful and friendly! The atmosphere is cozy and chilling, perfect for getting some rest after some mountain activities! Oh but one thing you need to noted is that it’s “Cash only”! They do have an ATM outside the restaurant tho haha! I will definitely visit here again when I come to Big Bear Lake next time :"

"We decided to give this place a chance, on a cold night.Good location in a busy street, but food is would just give it 3.5 stars meats are on the dryer and saltier side. We need more dedication on the seasoning quality..Service is 3.5 stars because since we sat down, there are 3 more seated after us but Server took their orders first and didn’t come to us, i had to wave them down, and the wait wasn’t short we were hungry..Other than mentioned, it’s an ok place."
