"Our Experience started out a bit rocky but quickly got better. My husband called the restaurant around 6:30 asking about a wait time to get a table for two. The lady on the phone was pleasant and let us know there was no wait time. We jumped in the car shortly after arriving to the restaurant around 7:00pm. We walked in and asked for a table for two, the man at the desk said all tables are reserved and it will be a 45 Minute wait to be seated at the bar. We agreed to wait and sat down. This is when I pulled out my trusty OpenTable app which showed reservations available in 15 minutes all the way through closing for a party of two. I booked a reservation and had a table 15 minutes later. Pretty lame this man lied to my husband and I in only what I perceived as a desire for us to leave the restaurant. After we were seated at our table we had great service from our waitress. The menu is outstanding, so many unique rolls. We started off with the pork dumplings (steamed) which id highly recommend. Next we got three rolls of sushi. Typically my husband and I get 4 rolls at sushi restaurants but after seeing the size of these rolls we thought we better stick with just three and we couldn't even finish it all. They are long with about 10-12 pieces per roll. Super unique combos of ingredients with some of the options which I thought was so fun to try. Don't worry they have some basic/classic rolls as well. Overall I'd recommend this restaurant, just make a reservation first."

"I must say that we have really enjoyed breakfasts here over the years, starting with the freshly-squeezed orange juice. We tried a lunch this time. My wife was happy with her meal, but I was surprised at how much mine fell below the Cafe standards by a few notches. I had selected the Reuben sandwich, which I will never do again at the Cafe. You an find fabulous examples of Reuben sandwiches at Schwartz' in Montreal. There the Montreal smoked meat (pastrami) is flavoured perfectly, is moist, very tender, cut thinly and piled high. The cheese and sauerkraut, along with the Thousand Island dressing perfectly complement the meat. The dark rye bread is moist and just the right thickness. So, perhaps I have been spoilt. The Cafe's Thousand Island dressing is made in-house, and is good. The bread is a lighter rye, with caraways seeds. Not bad, but not close to what it could be. The sauerkraut was shredded, but larger, tougher chunks were scattered through the mix, making a bite result in withdrawing that piece whole. The meat was worse. It was not very tender, and therefore, a bite resulted in the same thing: withdrawing large strands which had to be bitten off. The flavour was too heavily smoked, obscuring the taste of the spices. I mean that this does not taste good, almost as if liquid smoke had been brushed on. It does not have a good mouth feel. Summary: stick to their great breakfasts. Steer clear of the Reuben if you have ever had a good one in the past. $16.25 is a bit much for something like this. Or don't call it a Reuben."

"The food was fantastic it was the very best burrito I have had in years. This is fine food at a great price. When it was brought to the table I commented to the server that this was the largest and nicest burrito I had ever seen. I instantly knew I could not finish that burrito it was gigantic. The quality of the ingredients were amazing. If you are thinking a Taco Bell burrito you are a universe away from being right. It starts off with chips and dip and the dip was fantastic. This place seems small but it's not this is a place where you can take the family or come alone and enjoy a great meal. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient and very fast. While you are waiting for your order look around the place it is jammed packed with things to look at that are hanging on the wall or even the ceiling. I really enjoyed the bar area as it was maxed out with bottles of liquor and themed decorations. I highly recommend this place. I'm going to say that again, I highly recommend this place. I just moved to Bigfork and I know this is going to be a regular haunt for me. If you're on vacation and just passing through please put this on your itinerary and I promise you this is a place you will remember and you won't regret it. The parking lot is clean easy in Easy out and the outside of the business is clean and attractive as well as the inside. They except cash or debit or credit cards. There is handicap parking. The entrance is not handicap friendly but go anyway make the effort. They have a bar that you can sit drink have a meal or you can choose the tables. I chose the bar and I met a lot of local people that were engaging and extremely nice. They were the type of people that if you saw them again you would buy them a cup of coffee or lunch. The next time I go I'm going to be sure to be very hungry because the portions are gigantic. I took a picture of the bar area and I'm posting with this review be sure to look at it and zoom in because it's full of decorations that are unusual and fun to see. Last but not least the bar can fix you just about anything. I saw the bartender make several martinis and specialized to order drinks. I sure wished I had had a girlfriend to take with me if you do be sure to call her and ask her to get ready for a good time because this is the place to impress your date. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"As we approached the counter to place our order, we were met with a condescending smirk and an icy silence that rivaled the snowfall outside. There wasn't even a simple greeting; no "hello," "how are you," or "welcome." Instead, we were left with the impression that our presence was burdensome to her. When I inquired about her business's performance since our last visit, her curt response was a disinterested, "We're still here." Again, there was no smile, only an air of arrogance. We ordered our meals with two decaf coffees, asking for a cup of water to accompany them. Her snide reply was that they only sell bottled water. After paying, we received no acknowledgment or friendly comment—it's as if we were doing her a favor by dining there. We eventually gathered our food from the various coolers and found instructions on the table for cleaning up after ourselves. We served our own coffees from a thermos that was lukewarm at best, and it became downright cold once we added creamer from an open quart carton stored in the coolers. After finishing our meals, my wife decided to get another cup of coffee and approached the unfriendly owner. She begrudgingly offered to either make a new pot or microwave it, emphasizing the latter option. My wife agreed, and after two rounds in the microwave, the coffee was finally warm enough, even though it was roughly noon at that point. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant, given the dismissive and haughty attitude of the owner. When you spend over $20 on lunch, you should at least expect a cup of water, warm coffee, and maybe even a hint of a smile. There are plenty of dining options in the Flathead Valley—why spend your money only to be met with disdain?"
