"Ordered 2 of the new Mac and cheese sandwiches. When they called my name i could barely hear them and someone else walked up so I assumed it was their order and continued waiting. You cannot see the order pick up area from most of the tables. A while later a very cranky employee came up and ordered us to go get our food which was now stone cold. I explained my confusion and they dismissed me and said it's been waiting for you it shouldn't be our job to deliver it to your table.... ok that's fine but would it kill you to call the name out again if the wrong person comes for it and it's sitting there a few min later? Ate our cold sandwiches and left, it's been 2 or so years since I've gone to Panerai and I'm starting to remember why."

"We recently visited Gondolier for the second time and once again, we were impressed by the food. I decided to try the vegetable spaghetti noodles and they were delicious. The variety of sauces to choose from was a great bonus. As a gluten-free diner, I appreciate the nice selection of options, although it was hard to resist the tempting garlic knots. The staff at Gondolier were excellent and provided attentive service. Arriving early allowed us to choose between comfortable booth or table seating. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Gondolier, as it has become our favorite Italian restaurant in Boulder."

"I’ve been going to Pasta Jay’s for almost 20 years and returning again and again! And I’ve been addicted to their tasty baked tortellini marinara since they were a tiny TINY restaurant on Pearl with a crooked floor and a big beautiful tree to sit under and admire as you wait in line for this great food. 2 location changes later and one thing is the same: this restaurant still draws a crowd of devotees and the food is exactly the same — still top notch. The famous (and slightly infamous) creator Pasta Jay (Jay Elowsky) studied carefully under the auspices of some serious Italian Foodies in his culinary education and it shows in his menu. The prices have gone up (darned inflation) by more than two times over the years but this is still a place where most entrees are under 15$. I’m not pleased that the salad is small and is almost 5$ — but it is a TASTY salad. Greens, garbanzos, beets and marinated mushrooms with the house dressing — a creamy and ridiculously thick GARLICKY Italian. Awesome! Add Gorgonzola for an upcharge. Speaking of GARLICKY — those of you who don’t like the stinking rose — beware of Pasta Jay’s their FAMOUSLY unique red sauce and most other dishes are infused by this pungent bulb. My gastrointestinal relationship to garlic has changed over the years and I have to get “easy” on the sauce sometimes. Don’t get me wrong… it’s not overpowering but it is a key component of a truly unique sauce experience. The marinara and the bolognese or meat sauces are a singular taste. Don’t come expecting the same old same old Marinara that you get in almost every other Italian place. Pasta Jay’s has built up locations in Denver and Moab — and a religious following BECAUSE of this sauce! You could put this sauce on a leather shoe and it would be a delicious meal. Baked pastas, rigatoni, tortellini, ricotta and herb/spinach stuffed shells — this is what pasta aspires to be when it grows up! Try out specials like Red Clam, Lombardi pasta, Lasagna… desserts, great wine. GREAT intimate atmosphere… (though a little noisy) Don’t miss Pasta Jay’s!"

"We had reservations for 9 people for Christmas Eve dinner booked through OpenTable. I received multiple email confirmations leading up to the reservation time. The restaurant phoned me a few hours before our reservation time to reconfirm our reservation. We showed up and we were seated immediately in the indoor/outdoor dining space that can be converted based on time and weather. The temperature was great but wait staff confirmed that we were comfortable before taking our initial drink orders. Service was excellent and timely. Food totally met or exceeded expectations with many positive comments from our group. Added bonus was that we had the area to ourselves so we were able to have great conversations among the group. Cost, even with lots of drinks, was good. Very positive experience and will definitely go there again in the future."

"This is a tough review to write because it’s half good and half really bad. We made an Easter Sunday reservation online with Open Table and it was confirmed with text and email. When we arrived they had s sign on the door saying they were closing early at the time of our reservation . We entered and we’re told we couldn’t eat and also told it want Foolish Craig’s apparently an April’s fools joke however it was freezing out and we had a baby with us. We left and realized we were st Fookish Craig’s and went back showing them our reservation and they agreed to sit us. Now the staff was friendly and service was good however we watched as people with reservations got turned away and we also felt pressured to rush our meal and thank God the baby didn’t need to eat! Food was ok nothing special but again the whole experience kind of ruined our holiday meal."

"When we arrived, the host was overwhelmed and confused. He left me at the front desk for about 10 minutes and then proceeded to tell me that I was late. I think he was undertrained and overwhelmed. Also, our server left us for quite some time. And didn’t check in frequently. The food was great so that’s a positive I’d like to highlight. It’s OK, will be back, but it wasn’t a great experience Yesterday."

"I enjoy the Walnut Cafe, but their Basic B breakfast needs improvement. The Basic B is two eggs any style, two sides, plus optional meat. The scrambled eggs weren't freshly made looked like a reheated omelette. The pork sausage? A microwaved patty! Come on. I've had great breakfasts here, but this morning was not one. Also, in general, please consider changing the suggested gratuities (20%, 23%, 25% of the TOTAL bill). It should be a percentage of the subtotal, and since you add a 2% fee for using a credit card it's a bit much to ask customers to also select from options where the minimum tip is 20% (granted one can enter a custom tip amount)."

"I had to jump up and say. I come into this star buck’s they are so.welcoming and warm..thank them for it....and.just now I went in and a guy with the name jackolyn brought me really super nice after my long trip down canyon blvd. with the whole construction...and he made me the best soy, mocha chip frappi! seriously! tested like the real thing I made in 94 when I worked star buck while I was through college..oft now older exercise on alcohol products. thanks for the..pure cheerfulness!"

"We went there for Sunday brunch. I had the smoked salmon Benedict with a side of Caesar salad and it was delicious! My partner had the Croque Madame with a side of fries and again it was wonderful. We ate outside on the patio, which the only view is of the apartment complex near it, but there’s nothing they can do about that. Because we were outside the noise level was nil. I don’t know how it is inside. We will definitely go back. We’re looking forward to trying the other menu items. The service was great and the iced tea was wonderful, which is always a big thing to me."

"The manager was wonderful to us, but we got there without a reservation after Open Table let us make a reservation without letting us know that Salt had stopped working with your organization weeks prior. It was Valentine's Day and the table we thought we had reserved did not exist. The manager was a champ in finding us a place to seat and we ended up having a lovely meal, but I'm never using Open Table again to reserve a table at a restaurant."

"I have been coming here for 12+ years. The owner is wonderfully attentive. The food has got better, and the location and atmosphere is perfect for special occasions and guests coming to town. However, today is the second brunch in two weeks where I have waited over an hour to get any food. This was exercerbated by our server going missing in action for more than 50mins. In fact they never came back, and they had to find another server to jump in and help. We only got our food after I went inside to find our server, and spoke to the manager of the day. When food arrived, it was not as ordered. Not a great experience for a special father's day organized by my family. Manager offered a free desert or drink, but does not really make up for how this impacts what should be a really enjoyable experience. Correction: Manager took off desert and one entree. This is appreciated but would love to not need this. If only the service was better, I would provide a 4+ stars."

"This place is definitely one of the most iconic restaurants in Boulder. If you're in town and you want to have a burger (or their famous wings if you're not vegetarian , this is the place you have to go. They have two different veggie burgers options (a garden burger and a mexican-beans burger . Both are really good and they are served with a side of your choice (fries, coleslaw, salad, pasta salad... . 100% recommended."

I ordered the French dip sandwich. It was the best I've ever had. I've been across the United States many times, many different directions. I've had many sandwiches. But this one was the best."

"Dharaj is outstanding! The food is delicious and the prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the location. However, the highlight of this place is definitely the service. The staff provided great recommendations for what to order and were quick to refill anything I needed. I will definitely be returning soon. I do hope they'll add some plant-based meat options to the menu, though!"

"This place is great. They have lots of vegan options labeled on the menu and almost all of the stir fry dishes and many of the noodle dishes can be made vegan (without fish paste or other animal ingredients just ask your server) vegetarian dishes can also be made without eggs. The Pad Woon Sen (no egg) is excellent and the eggplant stir fry and vegetable cashew stir fry with organic tofu is amazing. The lunch is best because it comes with a side salad or spring roll or something else extra ... be aware that the price jumps up a lot for dinner. Even though this place is a little pricey, the food is very very good, the atmosphere is pretty and the service is excellent. A good place for a special dinner out."

"We pass by this restaurant all the time and always say we should give it a try. Yesterday, we finally did, and it was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I ordered the California club, while my wife had the Mushroom Swiss burger. We will definitely be returning, and we highly recommend The Hungry Toad!"

"All of our meals were very enjoyable. The staff was very helpful in guiding us through the list of beers and brought all the samples we requested. Additional samples we may enjoy were offered. I ended up ordering one of those that were offered by our server. Recommendations: the Phish n Chips, bison burger, junk burger and the spicy pollo burrito! The four others in my party had fries, which I am told were awesome. Only knock would be just a little more sour cream with the burrito. Of course, I am certain that they would have brought me more had I requested a side of it. Just a little loud if you are looking to talk intimately. Was not an issue for us."

"We had bad weather when we were there so we had to wait a little <10 minutes for our table due to people who would have been sitting outside now had to sit inside. But that was not their fault. The hostess was super friendly which made the unexpected wait better and once seated our server was also super friendly and attentive. Order was taken promptly, appetizers and drinks arrived promptly, and main courses arrived soon after appetizer was finished all good timing. We had wanted to sit on the roof but could not due to bad weather. So we sat inside which is a little noisier than we would have liked. But all in all, an excellent dinner and experience. West End Tavern is one of our favorite places in downtown Boulder we've been there plenty of times and will go plenty times more :"
