"I’m really disappointed that I don’t live closer to this amazing Thai restaurant. My experience there was fantastic, and it was even more memorable because we got to share it with friends who live nearby. The wonderful, funny woman we encountered was like a superhero, handling everything in the dining area with remarkable efficiency. My friends loved the Thai tea and pad Thai, while my husband and I were big fans of the curries. The portion sizes for one person are incredibly generous—definitely enough for at least three more meals! I can't wait to return for future double date nights!"

"The street tacos were underwhelming. The tortillas tasted like the ones from a taco kit, and the short rib meat was dry, flavorless, and had a powdery texture. Interestingly, my dog seemed to enjoy it. On the bright side, all the breakfast and bakery items are fantastic. However, every lunch dish I've sampled has fallen short. I’d suggest sticking to breakfast or bakery options for the best experience."

"Fantastic experience at Mean Deans tonight, our first and most definitely not last visit. The host was very cordial and professional while dealing with some difficult customers, but he took care of them and seated us right away. We looked over the menu, which has so many tempting options that it was hard to choose. I was torn between the lobster lasagna and the redfish special and I let our wonderful server, Terra, help me with the choice. Terra said I could get the lasagna anytime but the redfish was a special so she would go with that- and I followed her advice and am extremely happy that I did. We can't say enough about Terra, she was very professional, super friendly and funny, and on top of everything as far as making sure we were well taken care of. We both really enjoyed our meals, the redfish was outstanding, and my wife loved the 5 Cheese Mac and her salad. We barely had enough room for dessert but when peanut butter pie is on the menu, you can literally hear my will break. Well, we decided to split a slice of PB pie and oh man! it was soooo good. My wife took just a few bites and I had to finish it for us because, well, I couldn't insult the person who made it now, could I? We will definitely be back as we're new to the area and just getting settled in, and I am going to try that lobster lasagna for sure. Thanks to everyone at Mean Deans for a great experience, all of you did an outstanding job."

"I recently dined at o'bricks for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. We arrived just before dinner and enjoyed watching the dining room fill up as we ate. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the service was top-notch, and the food was incredible! I started with the Bradentucky Egg Rolls filled with pulled pork and bursting with flavor, and the dipping sauce was delicious. For my main course, I had the Blackened Pork Loin with a sky-reduction sauce that was superb. The pork was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The reduction sauce complemented the pork beautifully. I finished off the meal with a delightful cup of macchiato. I can't wait to return!"

"The staff was actually super nice. I ordered on line, for take out, the corn and crab chowder. It's wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I expected or looking for. In any case, I had quite a wait, though some how the staff wasn't aware. Anyway, they made that right without me even asking. So, customer service was perfect. I can see going there again, just not for that soup in particular. The cheesecake was great though!"

"I will start by saying that we ate here on Valentines Day, so it was not a real good picture of this restaurant. We had a reservation for a party of 6. We were seated right away, and brought our own wine. They seemed very frazzled from the beginning. The waitress wanted to take our whole order right away as if they wanted us to be out fast. We were then told that they would not do separate checks that night. I think we should have been informed of that prior to our arrival. We ordered an eggplant appetizer and some mussels. The eggplant was sliced so thin that it was mushy and you could barely taste it under the sauce and cheese. The mussels never came. Salads came out shortly after that and they were fine. By this time the restaurant was full. When I asked if a dish came with a side of pasta, we were told that they were only serving broccoli with everything that night. An ITALIAN restaurant! We waited a long while for our dinners, and when they came, there was no broccoli. It took a long time for the check to get settled. I would possibly try this restaurant again, under normal circumstances, but I am not sure that they will survive if they can't do a big dining out day any better."

"Some of the best Phillys in town right here and they have awesome shakes and malts when they are mixed correctly. Just wish this place was open later on the weekends and that they didn't shut their shake machine down so early on Saturdays. But seriously, you must try their Chicken Philly with the peppers and onions and the peppers have spice to them but just right!! So delicious!!! Service: Take out"

"Lunch for 4. Hostess told us she had reservations at 6 pm and would 2 hours be enough time for us. We were then seated next to a large group. The restaurant was empty. Luckily the group was not loud. Our waiter arrived, never provided his name and took our drink order, got our drinks, and took our food order. He came back to refill 3 of our drinks. Never came back to refill the 4th drink. In fact we rarely saw the waiter again. Clam chowder was ordered and it took awhile to arrive; chowder was delicious. Crunchie fish was ordered by 3 people and it was good. I ordered the chicken cobb salad with blue cheese crumbles which were not on the salad when it arrived. Had to track waiter down to get the blue cheese. I could barely find the salad dressing on the salad. The apple slaw was ordered by 2 in our party and they couldn't find the apple in the slaw! The waiter smiled but was not very talkative. I was not very impressed with the waiter or the food."

"First timer here! I'm so disappointed : I've really been looking forward to trying Vertois pizza all week! Ordered delivery today. I ordered a large Vertoris veggie, thin crust. I was excited reading the reviews and checking out their website and the claims to using fresh ingredients , but there honestly was just no flavor to the pizza : The crust was nice and crispy like a thin crust should be! But the sauce and everything else was very underwhelming. Perhaps other options on the menu are better? I'm up for second chances :"

"It was an incredible burger experience! If I had the funding, I would definitely open a whole chain of these restaurants. This place is a huge favorite in the community. It would need to be standardized to succeed in the franchise market, though. I absolutely love their burger recipe; the truffle flavor is outstanding. The mac and cheese is fantastic, and the scotch egg is just amazing. The staff has known my wife and me since our dating days and through our wedding. There have been some recent changes, but the connection remains strong. The team consistently delivers great work that never disappoints!"

"The restaurant is in an old house in the Village of the Arts. Very eclectic with pictures of the owner and family that were painted and framed. A warm atmosphere that was especially nice with a singer that played guitar and violin. She had a beautiful voice. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. The bread in a bag was the best bread I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside and garlicky and chewy on the inside with an olive oil and herb dip. I ordered the cheese and greens torta rustica and it was delicious. The crust melted in my mouth. My husband had the pasta siciliano and he said it was excellent and he ate every bite. We saved room for desert. We had a peach with vanilla ice cream and toasted hazelnuts! It was so good! The peach was marinated and so different from anything else I ever had! We will definitely be back! The owner came out to see if we liked our meal and he also played the harmonica! Loved the whole atmosphere!"

"I hadn’t visited Popi’s in quite some time. My mother used to take me here often when I was younger, so I felt the urge to stop by and try out her favorite breakfast special. Our waitress, Irene, suggested the chorizo omelet, which turned out to be an excellent recommendation. The portion sizes were generous, and I found it hard to finish everything on my plate. The coffee was complimentary and included refills. The service was friendly and quick, and the food was freshly prepared. If my mother were still with me, it would have been the perfect outing."

"The manager of this restaurant has responded to a review by someone else, thinking I posted it because my wife and I were there tonight and had the stroganoff and the duck (which the other reviewer mentioned . I can't find a way to tell the manager that the review shouldn't have been attributed to me or my wife.I very rarely leave reviews on Google maps and I hope he or she removes their response. Our food wasn't great but the service was all right (though we did apparently have the same soupspoon problem. We left a 20% tip in fact.We were a table of 2 Americans, not a multinational group like the other review says.Perhaps the manager doesn't know that reviews aren't necessarily written or posted on the same date as when the people attended?"

"Stopped in for lunch today with my wife! Sat at the bar with Steve as our bartender. We each ordered the Fish Chips. Excellent choice! Fish was fresh and lightly battered. French Fries were served hot! Food was delicious! Best Fish Chips I’ve ever had! Look at the photo to see what you get. We could have shared one order! Steve was very knowledgeable and helpful! "It's hard for me to give a total of 5 star rating to any place I go but this place truly hit all the marks. Home made breadsticks and sauce( I prefer olive oil over butter) they were crispy on the edges but soft and delicious all around. The Stromboli was sliced for easy devouring and was packed with great flavor. Everything tasted fresh and hot and was quite a delight. The Cheesesteak was very tender and real steak. It was great to truly have fresh bread and a true homemade atmosphere about everything. My hats off to the chef and all that works here."

The exterior is a little rough around the edges and could use a refresh but the interior (inc. bathrooms) are up to date, clean, and aesthetically pleasing.
