"We had reservations for 4:30. The music playing overhead was quite loud. Our server was attentive at the beginning, but as the restaurant got busier, we had to wait longer for her attention. I asked for a recommendation between two steaks and when I decided on medium, it came out overcooked and tough. The server apologized and took it back to the kitchen. The manager also apologized when they came by. By the time it came back, the rest of my party had already finished their meals. The steak was cooked correctly this time, but it wasn't as tender as described on the menu. As a gesture of goodwill, our waitress brought me a crème brûlée, even though it isn't my favorite dessert. It would have been nice if she had asked us what dessert we prefer for a complimentary one. When we left at 6:30, the restaurant was packed and very noisy. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals, but not enough to warrant a return visit."

"Wow! We’re from out of town, so happy chose to eat here for lunch! Waitress was friendly, cooks accommodating to gluten requests, food was yummy, great quality with fair price. Mine was the skirt steak, cooked well since pregnant, yet the most tender steak I’ve had in months. Not much to look at from outside, a hole in the wall-these always are the best- definitely will visit again whenever back this way."

"my family and I love babes pizza! I would say the same even if the restaurant wasn't my nana and dads. my grandparents put her heart and her soul in her business and it shows. babe’s is a clip for brandon, fl and was always family oriented. the train still drives around the restaurant and the atmosphere has not changed in the last 30 years - (I know because I go all my life long)- family-friendly and the customer service is still top priority. when they go to the restaurant, they get a smile and a friendly greeting, no matter how busy it can be and eating is always worth waiting. handmade pizza best enjoyed when they personally served them by friendly staff. best pizza all time and the best people! delivery pizza can not compete with homemade recipe! do not change any thing, no matter how many changes in an ever-growing city and in a condition - there are many people like me who appreciate a classic and enjoy knowing that some dinge always remain the same."

"The vintage truck hanging over the dining area was impressive, and I was captivated by the collection of antique items—certainly not what I would anticipate in a fast-food restaurant. Each table had posters promoting job applications, and the staff at the counter appeared to be having a wonderful time together. While I likely won't come back, that's mostly because I prefer a vegetarian diet over red meat. I ended up here by accident, believing it was a Mexican restaurant. However, I did enjoy the jazz music playing in the background!"

"The drink was excessively sweet. I ordered the shrimp and scallop skewer, but it didn’t even come with a skewer. I suspect the scallops were frozen. The broccoli was also frozen and seemed old, with a taste that suggested it had been in the freezer for a long time. Surprisingly, there were hardly any customers there, even on a Friday night."

"I have always enjoyed eating at this restaurant, however, today was the worst experience I 've ever encountered. I had my dish sent back to the chef because the beef was overcooked and tough to chew swallow. The chef 's wife made an appoint to meet me and states that she and her husband, the chef, tried the beef, and nothing 's was wrong with it; she eats it everyday, etc. After making her point, offers to change the dish to a new entree. Minutes later, returns, half tossing the dish to the table and looks my best friend who accompanied me, rather than me, stating, Here you go . I was completely baffled. After she walks away, our waitress appears, apologizing, stating she 's not a good communicator . At the end of our uncomfortable meal, our waitress asked if we 'd like dessert and we agreed for German chocolate cake. Moments later, the chef 's wife comes to the table repeating the question and we repeat, Yes the german chocolate cake...to go please. She returns with a plum cake on a plate. When we stated we did not order this, once again she was rude to us, arguing, sighing and rolling her eyes. I actually snapped back a little because I had, had enough (yeah, arguing with customers , that 's a sure way to keep yourself in business). I couldn 't believe we were being treated this way. She took the cake, returned, placing our check down on the table, without a word; No thank you, anything. I was completely lost for words. I 've been coming here for 9 years and to think this is how loyal customers are treated is mind blowing. Lost customer"

"Went here on a Friday night at 7pm. First the decor and atmosphere. 2 dart boards we could see, bar and stock of alcohol looks well maintained, wooden floors with wood tables, and an outdoor seating area as well. Staff including bar tender seemed to enjoy working here and interacted with the patrons. Overall I was happy with the restaraunts decor and interior. Now for the important part...the food. The menu breathes fresh air into a Irish pub. I can't tell you how many Irish pubs I have been into that is just Irish by name but the menu is blah, unoriginal and is more american than Irish. This is not the case for O'Toole's. Their menu screams of English and Irish food. My wife and I ordered the sampler, fish and chips and cottage pie. Sampler, (banger bites, chips, Gaelic egg rolls, and potato skins) came out how and fresh. The banger bites were great, and not just american sausage that the restaraunt calls bangers. If you have had bangers before you know! Egg rolls were hot, had a nice corned beef interior and tasty. The potato skins....well they were potato skins. It seemed off with how great the rest of the sampler was but they weren't bad. Being 100% nit picky I would have wanted something more unique than just potato skins which you can get anywhere. There is enough on this sampler for at least 2 people. Main course arrived and we were not disappointed. Oh you do get 3 choices of fries with ur fish and chips. The fish has crunchy and tasty and while not certain it appears it is hand battered. Either way the outside was crunchy and the inside was buttery and nice for the fish. The burnt Brussel sprouts on the lemon I assume were for garnish. I make pan fried Brussel sprouts and these were just too burnt to consume. But I am going with its an inedible garnish and didnt hold it against them. My only gripe and if you read all my reviews you will know, why don't you make your own fries?? As I said you get 3 choices of fries but they are frozen fries. Were they terrible? Not at all but I would pay an extra 50 cents plus for fresh fries. But that's just my personal preference. Wife got the cottage pie and it was wonderful. From the gravy, to the interior medly, to the garlic mash it was all great. We wanted to try their cheesecake but we were too stuffed to try it. Do yourself a favor and try this Irish Pub. It shows they care about their food and staff. My negatives are strictly nit picky things that most won't care about it but I would rather be honest on my preferences or how to take this wonderful place to an even better place."

"I go to the Bloomingdale location all the time. There’s actually a location closer to my house and I go the extra couple miles to go to this location. All the staff have been amazing but I’d like to call out Elizabeth for always going above and beyond. I know I get the most obnoxious order as I replace a lot of items and add items. I’m 9 months pregnant and they always make sure it’s perfect before I leave. Whenever I go in everyone is always having a great time and seems like a little family with the regulars. If I wasn’t so pregnant I’d stay to hang out with everyone. If you have time I’d make a trip to this location. 10/10! Thank you girls for being amazing!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. It seems like a little family there.Dietary restrictions: I need to have low sugar diet and have never had any issues."

"I opted for a pulled pork sandwich, thinking it was a safe bet. The portion of pork was generous, and I noticed they carefully weighed the fries and filled up a cup of mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! I'd definitely come back. The restaurant had a mix of large groups sitting on benches and high-top tables, as well as smaller tables for two or four. There was even outdoor seating available. The staff was quick to clean off tables as customers left. I observed a woman diligently tidying up, restocking sauces, and ensuring paper towels were in place for the next guests. She was friendly and greeted everyone she encountered. In the back, the team was busy cleaning and preparing for the next wave of customers. Overall, I had a great experience. Even when I got up to refill my drink and dispose of my trash, a gentleman kindly offered to take my tray. If I still had a group to bring along, I think this would be an excellent spot. While people may not gather for meals as often as they used to, it didn't seem to affect the take-out orders, which were also quite popular."

"This restaurant offers both meat and vegan choices, has friendly staff, and serves delicious and satisfying meals at reasonable prices. I ordered a regular bowl with Teriyaki Chicken, Jasmine Rice, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Herb Roasted Potatoes for takeout. The chicken and potatoes were excellent, the rice was tasty, and while the sprouts were decent, I felt they needed a bit more flavor. I'll likely explore other menu options on my next visit."

"Meal Type: Dinner Price Range: $10–$20 per person I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent, earning a perfect rating of 5! The service was equally impressive, also receiving a 5 for attentiveness and friendliness. The atmosphere of the place was inviting and enjoyable, which gave the overall experience a solid 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Beef Chislic, Pro Gold Wings, Flaming Burger, and Chislic with Fries. Each dish was delicious and absolutely worth the visit!"

"What a pleasant surprise this pizza place was! We were super hungry and couldn't find anywhere to eat on our way to Urban Air adventure park. We decided to stop here and it was fabulous! Great prices and amazing pizza! Service was great too. We will definitely make a trip back. P.S. if you like spicy, check out the hot honey pepperoni pizza... SO good!!!"

"My husband and I love visiting this restaurant whenever we're in Yankton, so we decided to try the one in Brandon. First of all, every single employee greeted us with a smile and was incredibly friendly, which is hard to come by these days! The food was really delicious. The only feedback I have is that the Yankton location tends to use more sauce; here, it felt a bit lacking. Additionally, the hot and mild salsa were nearly identical tonight, and we really enjoy the spicy kick in Yankton. Overall, though, we had a great experience at the Brandon location and will definitely be returning more often. Thank you all for a wonderful meal!"

"The meat was terrible. One Sunday afternoon, the chefs decided to serve my child a bad piece of meat for their meal. My husband and I didn't realize until we got home that there was a large chunk missing from the chicken, making it seem like something undesirable had been removed. We spent a total of $80 that day, but instead of BubbaQue's taking responsibility for the bad meat, they passed it on to my child. It is unacceptable to serve low-quality meat to anyone, especially a child. My child had already eaten some of it before I noticed and had to throw it away. Our family no longer has trust in this restaurant and we will not be returning."

"This place is absolutely fantastic! I loved the quirky and eclectic decor, and the ice cream was just as unique. I wish they had even more flavors to choose from. The girl who served us was incredibly patient while we sampled a bunch of different options, helping us decide. The homemade cones were impressive — definitely the best ice cream cone I’ve ever had. I'm also excited about the artwork!"

"We visited Glory Days for dinner as a family of five for the first time, and we had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was lively with the Bucs preseason game playing. The food was delicious; I particularly enjoyed the Strawberry Salmon Salad, which was amazing! I found the balsamic dressing to be even better than what was recommended. The entire staff was friendly, especially Miranda, who was incredibly sweet and attentive. I really appreciated how great she was with my boys. My youngest even mentioned that she made the best chocolate milk! The manager, Deon, also came by our table to say hello and check on our meal, and he was very pleasant. We had a wonderful time!"

"This was my first visit to La Cocinita Cubana. I was feeling like getting a hamburger and the lady who helped me offered her Frita Cubana Sandwich which is a Cuban style hamburger on Cuban white bread made with chorizo(red sausage) and potato stix. I also got an order of Papa Fritas on the side with an Iron Beer which is a non-alcoholic soda similar to root beer. It seemed like she was the only one making the orders so the wait for the food took about 15 minutes since I came with two coworkers, but otherwise once I tried the sandwich I was instantly in love! It's a nice Cuban twist on classic American fare and paired with the side and drink, it really hit the spot. As for the dining area there are a few red picnic tables underneath a tent for shade so while it's not much it is definitely better than nothing and affords customers a spot to wait and then enjoy the meal they've ordered right away. I'd highly recommend taking an opportunity to try out this popular Cuban food truck in Brandon."

"I've dined here multiple times, and it's consistently excellent and fast. The pulled pork with yellow rice is truly the best I've ever tasted. The food is so fantastic that I had them cater a reception on two separate occasions, and my guests were raving about it as well! The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. As long as they're around, I will be too. It's a perfect spot to grab dinner for my family when I want to avoid fast food but don't have the time to cook. I absolutely love this place!"

"The staff was helpful and polite, but the food was barely edible. I ordered a calzone and it had ZERO cheese in it for some reason and no cheese or oil on the outside. Just dry dough filled with meat ?. The pizza looked good, but again very dry and over cooked. The margherita pizza was just pesto and tomato slices. If the staff hadn?t been so pleasant this would definitely be a 1 star rating. Tried to call to speak to them about the issues and despite their website and Facebook stating they were open until 9, no one was answering the phone at 8:30."
