"Aqua Terra Bistro: A Culinary Crescendo in Three Acts There are meals that satisfy, and then there are meals that sing. Aqua Terra Bistro, a gem tucked away from the banalities of the ordinary, presented me with a dining experience that crescendoed from excellent to exceptional. The overture began with something deceptively simple—bread and sauce. Too often, these introductory bites are an afterthought, a perfunctory nod to tradition. Not here. The bread, warm with a whisper of crispness, was a perfect canvas for a sauce that was equal parts velvety and vibrant, a prelude to something extraordinary. Then came the tuna appetizer. If expectation was a ceiling, this dish shattered it effortlessly. Silken and pristine, the tuna carried an almost reverential respect for its own ingredients. Each bite was a delicate interplay of freshness and precision, a reminder that great food doesn’t shout—it seduces. But the true revelation of the evening? The shrimp and grits. I have long held a personal pantheon of shrimp and grits, a hallowed top three that I thought unshakable. And yet, Aqua Terra’s rendition crashed through the ranks with reckless, delicious abandon. Creamy, indulgent, yet perfectly balanced—this dish did not just belong in my top three; it demanded consideration for the throne. As for our waitress, Jess, she was the maestro orchestrating this symphony of flavors. Attentive yet unobtrusive, knowledgeable yet warm, she elevated an already spectacular meal into an experience worth writing home about. Aqua Terra Bistro, you have my attention. And more importantly, you have my return visit. *unfortunately I was to excited to try my food before getting a decent picture."

"My Mother and I met for lunch at this location near her. We were greeted by Sherry, who was very gruff and made us feel as though we were an inconvenience. Being born and raised in the south both my Mother and I felt Sherry had no business workingbehind the register and greeting customers in a restaurant that promotes southern hospitality and graciousness. Perhaps Sherrywould be more of an asset in the kitchen and not behind the counter greeting customers. Or, she could put in an application atJersey Mike 's! Additionally, we stated that we were eating there but wanted to purchase one of the to go containers so that myMother could take some to friends that were going through some family health issues...well Sherry marked our whole order as Take Out and we waited and waited in their dining room as others behind us were getting their food. So, I approached one ofthe runners bringing out food to customers and she stated thay they were holding it as takeout because they thought we hadalready been there and had gotten our food????? Of course this made no sense but I wasn 't about to engage and explain that herstatement didn 't add up. She asked if I wanted her to plate our food and I said yes please as we were dining in. She came byand apologized and gave us a card that granted us a free chick special but only for this location. I gave this to my Mothersince she lives in the area and I don 't intend on returning to this location. The location near me certainly does a better allaround job of serving their customers. Corporate needs to take a closer look at this franchise, much needed changes!"

"Had a very good experience here.Specifically want to send gratitude to the bar staff.Came in Saturday evening to try this place out. I hadn't looked at the menu really prior to our visit because the pictures others posted of the milkshakes was all i needed to see to wait to try the food.It was busy and a table for two had a wait time of 20 to 30 minutes so we opted to sit at the bar. After going through the beer list we decided we'd rather have room to try a milkshake after dinner over having any beers. In our experience, most places we've sat at the bar the bartending staff doesn't pay you as much attention if you aren't drinking or once you're don't ordering drinks. We didn't have that issue here. Our bartender was still very attentive and again, we really appreciated that level of service.I got a flamethrower burger (pictured) and my wife got the equivalent of a mushroom swiss (i don't recall what it was called). She was happy with her burger. The fries were very crispy. I think it's safe to say that these were the crispiest fries I've ever had. The gravy dip was interesting. It was good but even though I do enjoy gravy I wasn't sure about it as a dip. I wasn't sure about the signature sauce but it really grew on me to the point where I would say I liked it.The flamethrower burger was good. It was listed as a spicy burger but if you regularly eat spicier foods the heat level of this burger is kind of negligible. The buns of the burgers was tasty and warm. Not sure if they're made in house.Lastly there's the milkshakes that lured us out. Tried the Oreo shake and I was pretty surprised in a good way. The actual shake portion you could drink was not overly sweet but more milky in flavor than I was expecting. Taking a soon to get some of the fudge and cookie on the outer rim of the glass and scooping some shake and whipped cream gave a bite that was still rich in dessert goodness but not just of mouthful of sweet. I'm impressed and am looking forward to trying the other flavors on subsequent visits. The entire place was clean from what I could see. There was a kids corner with 4 TV's and an Xbox 360. If you have elementary school aged children they will enjoy it. If your child is on the younger side, the loud music may be overstimulating.Maybe 5% of the patrons that weren't dining yet were wearing masks and it appears the staff is not required to wear masks as we didn't observe and staff wearing masks.Did not use the restroom so can't say how clean those were. The array of TV's around the space were showing different college basketball games.Lastly the ambiance is bar ambiance. Dim lighting that looked primarily to be pendants and festoon lighting throughout the dining area.Overall we had a great time and recommend trying this place. Good food, good service, and a good time. Glad to have a place like this that's not near the mall of Georgia and all that traffic."

"One of my top 5 sushi spots. Are there better sushi places that are cheaper? I dont know, I'm still looking! Does this one work? Absolutely!<br/ <br/ My first experience with Kani House was the hibachi. In regards to that, its pretty good. I'm not a HUGE fan of hibachi, but its fun, good, and filling. What more can you want from it?<br/ <br/ Now the real creme de le creme is the sushi. The sushi, I have found, is constantly good quality. I've tried many rolls and found some I dont really like, and some that I do.<br/ <br/ HOWEVER! The main thing that I love about Kani House, is the staff. Be it the cute girls in kimonos up front, or the sushi chefs at the sushi bar. My first experience at the sushi bar was with a date one late evening this is when I met Yi. Yi is one of the main chefs, maybe even the head sushi chef... no clue.<br/ <br/ Yi is an awesome guy. If you go to the sushi bar and at least talk and goof off with the guys behind it, they will take care of you. Yi and I have a friendship that is probably one of the closest that I have had with an employee in a restaurant. If i come in and sit at a table and he sees me, he'll send out some freebies for my table! <br/ <br/ Definitely check out Kani House. The sushi can be kind of expensive compared to some, but its good! And the experience is an enjoyable one, unless your antisocial and dont mumble a word and just hand your written order to the waitress."

"The Good: The food was tasty and portion sizes were reasonable. The Bad: The food was overpriced for what we were given tempura seafood is VERY heavily coated and deep fried. The other dishes I did not taste myself but other party members had thesame opinion that their food was not really as appetizing as the fancy description. The prices reflected the fancy descriptionsbut the food didn 't really deliver. The older lady who waited on us was in training and was inattentive and a bit rude. Whenshe was taking our order she was obviously hard of hearing because I, right beside her, said and pointed to what I want on themenu and she still didn 't get it. She loudly asked her trainer what other people ordered too, like it was a task for her tohave to ask again. She never refilled our drinks, only the nice lady training her did. We had a larger party and the wait wasa bit long for our food, and then after we asked the older lady for the check, I caught the her just staring at us and notmaking any move to get said checks for us. Eventually the nice trainer lady came and asked us how to split the bill andpromptly came back to us. By then we were late for the game we were attending after, but at least not by much. (1.5 hours fromsit down to check, 8 people) The UGLY: I found a bit of metal stuck to one of my shrimp tempura. It was a small sliver ofaluminum foil or something similar by the looks of it but never should have made it to a customer in that state. I almost bitdown on it. I didn 't mention it because we were already running late and I didn 't want to cause a fuss. Pictures included theoffending bit and my tempura . TL;DR the food not what was advertised, and a bit overpriced. The taste was okay, nothing wasinedible, but it wasn 't what we expected. Portions were good. The service we received was two ends of the spectrum (onehorrible waiter and one good), and I ended up with a metal bit in my food."
