"Our first visit last year was great, however, our latest visit this December was beyond disappointing! We went to celebrate December birthdays and spent over $500 after finishing our meal, we were told they would not give us extra plates for the cake we brought because they didn 't want us getting blue icing all over everything . In addition, after our group left, a couple stayed behind to have an additional drink and watch the football game and were told we can 't serve you anymore the owner says you 've had too much . It was 3 pm in the afternoon none of our group had over indulged! Pretty sure they were just mad about the cake!! In addition, we had to clear away our own appetizer plates to make additional room on the table for our pizza. On a positive note the food was good and we did have a nice server it was the owner, who was only present for about 10 minutes, that was the problem. We drove over an hour to meet are friends there specifically we will never return and will encourage others not to visit this establishment. It 's a cool little place. It 's too bad the owner ruins the experience."

"This place is half hibachi grill, half sushi bar. My review is solely of the sushi side, which has been a fantastic experience each time. I promise I'll try the hibachi side... next time. It was pretty busy when we arrived, and most were families for the hibachi side. The hostess was also our server so she was really working the whole floor and doing so with a pleasant energy smile (you could easily tell, even under her mask). After selecting multiple items from multiple menus, while still contemplating the ramifications of ordering more, a gentleman stopped by with our drinks. Nigori and Sapporo, party started! I think we were the most lively table in there, but it is a nice atmosphere... even without us there. We laughed joked with the staff, and then our house salads arrived, gifting the other diners with a few moments of silence while we chewed moaned like cattle grazing. Next time, I will order two house salads for myself. Appetizers for the evening included the Monkey Ball, an absolute go to favorite. So. Good. We also got fried Goyza, chicken yakitori, shrimp yakitori. All were amazing...pro tip; don't neglect the sauce that drips off the yakitori hangs out on the plate. ?We finished off with the Sunset roll, which was good...kinda vanilla. The Texas Ranger Roll came to bat though knocked it out of the park. Round the bases, and bring it home! Damn, that's a good roll. Little spice, lots of flavor.A great dining experience, made even better when our server brought us a farewell shot each of Nigori, which cements my opinion of her awesomeness. Great time, every time here at Masu."

"Tucked away between a tropical smoothie shop and a nail salon is this delightful gem. The waitstaff are always friendly and eager to assist! The soft music and dim lighting create a wonderful ambiance, perfect for a date night or a casual dinner. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who appreciates quality food and sushi, as well as excellent service."

"I walked in the door at 7:54. They close at 8. They were more than happy to take my order even though they cook each order fresh. That's 5 star all by itself. I ordered a pastrami cheese steak, mozzarella sticks and cheese steak egg rolls. The mozzarella sticks weren't still warm when I got home so I can't review them. No biggie. The egg rolls were really really good. Juicy, great flavor, wrapped perfectly, crunchy and they were stuffed. My review saved the pastrami cheese steak last for one reason. It is a STAR. The bread is soft but firm and this sandwich is spectacular. It's not good. It's spectacular. This sandwich is special. So special that I'm going to go back today to get another one. I'm a chef and it's hard to impress me. I'm very impressed. I'm happy that I lucked up and randomly found this place. GREAT customer service and the food is better than the customer service. You're cheating yourself if you don't go here."

"The service was exceptional, especially considering there was a line out the door at 1 PM on a Thursday. We were seated quickly at a high-top table. I ordered water with lemon and tried the Gintleman drink, which was delicious and not watered down at all. For my meal, I had the Cobb Salad and swapped the ranch dressing for the Avocado Lime dressing, and it was fantastic! Despite the restaurant being busy, the sounds of conversation and food being served blended perfectly into the ambiance, allowing me to focus on catching up with friends I hadn't seen in ten years. Our server was attentive, courteous, and had a contagious smile. This was my first visit to Brown Dog Eatery, and I can't wait to return with my husband soon!"

"As a former New Yorker, I consider myself pizza bougie. We have been living in Texas for almost 5 years and it's been difficult to find a pizza place that compares to NY. Well, we found it at Bacci's. If you're looking for NY style pizza this is the place to go! My family and I love it!! Kid friendliness: It's a pizza place it's def kid friendly"

"Me and my friend went here about a week ago because we heard that the food was really good and boy were we mistaken. We walk in and it’s this dark looking place and it honestly reminds me of a place you’d see on kitchen nightmares. But instead of walking out right then we decide to give the place a chance. We get seated and we order fried pork chops. It takes awhile to bring the food out which is fine. Our waitress sets out this family style kind of dinner with mashed potatoes, coke slaw, green beans and pork chops and it does not look good at all. I make myself a plate and the pork chops are tough, overcooked, under seasoned and lukewarm. The mashed potatoes are instant ones that aren’t even mixed good so there’s like chunks of dry mix in them. And the green beans are mediocre. We didn’t even finish our meal there were still 2 pork chops and a ton of food that went to waste. We just paid and left and went to a bar that had way better food. But the brass door is absolute garbage and we will never go back again."

"We dined at this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and it certainly won't be our last! Despite being fully booked with numerous reservations on a busy Friday night at 6:30, we were seated with only a brief wait. Our server was fantastic—patient and attentive—making sure my kids received their menus promptly. Everything we ordered arrived quickly and was incredibly fresh—simply mouthwatering! As a busy working mother, I truly appreciate finding a kid-friendly restaurant that offers excellent food options for everyone, is budget-friendly, and provides some of the best service we've experienced with Italian cuisine in a long time. This has quickly become our new favorite spot, and we’ll be returning very soon. If you haven't been yet, it's definitely worth a visit!"

"I have been wanting to try this place out ever since I saw rave reviews on the Nextdoor neighbor site. I decided to give it a try one afternoon for lunch. I was not disappointed! This restaurant is quaint- small inside with a few booths and probably 8-10 tables that seat four. On the table is a lovely arrangement of faux flowers. I was greeted by the server Kaitlyn who welcomed me as soon as I entered. I told her I haven’t dined there before and what should I try. She pointed out the daily specials marked on the black board above the kitchen area. She clearly knew the ingredients in the items and was knowledgeable and friendly. I asked her what she likes and she said the lasagna. She said everything is made fresh daily by the husband and wife owners. I decided to try a little bit of everything knowing full well I would only sample and take the rest home. I started with the fresh baked Italian Loaf Bread which was served warm with fresh olive oil and spices mixed. It was delicious!!! The bread is a favorite of the customers. I then had a small insalata which had lettuce, sun dried tomatoes, thinly sliced onions, a small roll of ham and fresh mozerella. I skipped the olives as I am not a fan of them. I had a choice of dressing and asked for balsamic vinaigrette which was freshly made in-house. Next came the lasagna, made fresh with beef in. E tween the layers as well as fresh ricotta. The lasagna was topped with cheese(I think Mozerella) and had a nice portion of sauce or Italian gravy however you wish to call it. The sauce was mild and delicious. The portion was above average. Next, I tried dessert. I had to get a fresh cannolli. The vanilla cannolli filling was sweet and light and the shell crispy and drenched in chocolate. So good!! I can’t wait to go back on a weekend with my husband. Kaitlyn recommends calling the restaurant to reserve a table. There are no online reservations, so be sure to call as she stated they are busy on the weekends. Wine is served as well as some special coffees. I may try those another time. The dessert menu included other delicious items I wouldn’t mine trying the next time."

"During my first visit to this restaurant while visiting family in nearby Hampton, I was very impressed. The hushpuppies were delicious and the tuna fish tacos with mango pico de gallo were also quite good. My dining companions had the combo plate which included fried flounder and fried shrimp, both of which were cooked perfectly and not greasy. The only downside was the coleslaw, which, although fresh, was rather dry and lacking in flavor. The service was excellent and overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a great seafood dining experience. Service: Dine-in."

"The menu offers a wide variety of choices, including poke burritos and poke bowls, among many others. The poke bowls are particularly tasty and bursting with flavor. We opted to dine in, and they kindly served us complimentary miso soup, along with a selection of flavored and regular water. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try! The food was prepared quickly, and there were plenty of topping options available."

"Food had excellent flavor! Grandma Shileys potatoes are awesome! Must have the breaded grilled shrimp! Service was great, and the prices were fine, plus we got two meals out of our entrees, bonus! There is an early bird menu, with smaller portions. We hesitated due to some negative rumors we heard, all rumors were wrong in our opinion! Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!"

"Man, I LOVE this place! I’ve been coming for lunch for years but I only just did breakfast here the first time yesterday! First thing in the menu is the “breakfast salad thing”. This is a heaping delightful mess of vegetables and mushrooms and eggs with the delis “secret sauce” a piquant creamy tangy perfect compliment to the dish! I’m diabetic and therefore avoiding carbs so instead of bread/toast I got a cup of the soup of the day which is a dill pickle chedddar soup that is greater than the sum of its parts!Looking at some others plates imma say everything on the menus is slammin! Breakfast before 10:30 and an incredible lunch selection there on! Go get it!"

"This is one of my favorite places to get dessert! First foremost, the ingredients are always fresh. Additional pluses: there’s a variety of crepes to choose from everything is made to order. The staff is friendly, the place is clean. My favorite part about this place is that they have mini versions gluten free versions of the menu available. Definitely a must try when you’re craving something sweet! (Savory crepes are also available Currently, all orders must be take-out there is no dine in option, but that is totally understandable."

"mahi and garnel were terrible. totally over boiled and dry. I google the best eating in carrollton because we just pulled here and this place came on the 1st and I don't understand how that happened. I may have met a day there, but there is no possibility that I paid $20 for an overlaid piece of fish. our waitress was less than stellar in her service and seemed very unpleasant"

"I have ordered delivery from Hon Sushi several times and it has always been delivered right to my doorstep. Each time, the sushi has met the expectations of myself and my sushi-loving friend. It has been a month or two since my last order, but the quality and taste of the food still remains high."

"As a Salvadoran I am very picky with my pupusas. I was skeptical trying a new place but boy am I glad I did!!! The pupusas were amazing. The burnt cheese oozing out the side, they were super fresh, the masa was perfect, they did not skimp out on the fillings. It was just delicious. The Curtido was so good too. I also tried their quesadilla bread and that is the best I’ve ever tried as well. It was so soft and moist. I also had platano Fritos, the platanos weren’t brown enough tbh. Platano fritos should be brown and very squishy, these were not. It might be all they had though so no biggie. Will definitely be coming here when I want pupusas! I did find it to be a bit pricey, my Receipt did not have a breakdown, but for 3 pupusas, a side of platano(came with creama beans, NO cheese) a quesadilla it was $35. It was all so good though. Service was also fantastic. I did to go and the sweet ladies were calling me by my name. Very professional even though they were very busy! Will be returning soon!"

"**Meal Type:** Dinner **Price per Person:** $30–50 **Food:** ★★★★★ **Service:** ★★★★★ **Atmosphere:** ★★★★★ **Recommended Dish:** The Monster Pizza I recently enjoyed a delightful takeout dinner from this restaurant, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The food was exceptional, earning a well-deserved five stars. The highlight of the meal was definitely The Monster Pizza, which was absolutely delicious and came loaded with toppings. The service was equally impressive, with prompt and friendly staff making the ordering process a breeze. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also noteworthy, providing a warm and inviting vibe that I hope to experience in-person someday. Overall, I highly recommend this place, especially for anyone looking to indulge in a fantastic pizza!"

"Unfortunately, my dining experience did not meet my expectations. As one of the highest-rated restaurants in Carrollton, I was hoping for a lot more. I understand that what I ordered was vegan (a burger and tacos), but if they call themselves "La Burger," they should deliver on that promise. The vegan scene in LA is thriving, yet what I had here fell flat. I also ordered some onion rings, which were quite pricey, but I only received about five small rings. Overall, I was disappointed."

"I stopped by La Vista for dinner and found myself seated very close to two other couples, which created a tight dining atmosphere. We started with chips, salsa, and queso. While the chips were excellent, the salsa and queso fell short. The salsa was quite watery and lacked spice, and the queso was similarly thin and didn't have the flavor I expected. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, which was decent—plenty of chicken, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, this place feels like your typical Tex-Mex restaurant. I would rate it 3 stars."
