"I didn't know how good this place would be, so I wouldn't be in front of the pick... my bad. What is here are the remnants because we almost ate everything. This place is in an old Taco bell, but inside is the friendly older woman who took our order and answers the millions of questions we had since the first time. This family-run restaurant is so good and I never had reason to say that about a Mexican restaurant outside the South Phoenix. The green chili fry bread was the BOMBDIGITY and the strips are a must try, everyone orders them. People came in and held this place full of time we were here and for good reason. There are chic new places nearby, but stop here and you will NOT regret it. We're coming back!"

"Yum!! Z'Tejas always hits the spot. I hadn't been for awhile, but I decided to stop by for happy hour on a Sunday. They have some great deals on drinks and food for happy hour, and it does not disappoint! The catfish beignets were fantastic; I loved the creole aoli to dip them in. You can't go wrong with nachos, and theirs were loaded with tasty toppings. Add a margarita to wash it all down, and you've got a great meal!"

"We have ordered from Pizza on 87 before and had great experiences, but tonight was disappointing. Inside the pizza box, there was a handwritten note that felt quite passive-aggressive and rude. We had requested that one quarter of the pizza be cheese only to accommodate our kids without having to buy an entire separate pizza. We’ve made similar requests for years, and I'm sure we're not the only customers asking for such accommodations due to taste preferences or allergies. Unfortunately, we don't plan to order from here again. I suggest that the person who prepared our order and wrote that note think about pursuing a different line of work."

"My food was delicious. I ordered the Mac and cheese, lobster bisque, and the recommended salad, which was the Fleming’s salad. They don’t normally do pepper for soups, they put it on mine for me. All delicious. My dad got a salad and steak. He said the steak was tough and he ate half of it. He politely mentioned it to the waiter and the manager talked to us. They comped our check and took the steak off of our check. They were so nice about it!"

"1st visit since change in ownership. Tried the Fiesta and Carne asada skillets. Both were very tasty! The fresh strawberry preserve was great on toast and the blackberry on the pancake was excellent! Service was great and even though we were in back, she made sure to check up often. Portions are plentiful and service was fast. Great job to the new family running this restaurant and their crew. Very friendly place to enjoy a fresh breakfast! Wish we had tried this sooner, but now that we know, we will see you soon! On our 2nd visit there were more guests, but again they had our breakfast on the table very fast. Again, our country omelet and Carne skillet were fresh and flavorful. Trying the benedict next. 3 is a charm, the ham is thick and juicy, hollandaise was perfect(that's hard to accomplish) and the bacon is also wide sliced cooked perfectly. We are hooked, she loves the pancakes better than the chains, I love the fresh food served fast no matter how busy they are. They celebrated a guests birthday and the whole place joined in. It feels like family here! Thanks for being here for our community! Just wanted to add, I saw a lunch order with chips, finally tried the gyro. It was really good and the fresh chips were also. Breakfast or lunch, this is the place in Chandler! I notice since starting to visit often, they are really busy....always fresh, always fast....always friendly!!!"

"Perfect little neighborhood spot for football Sunday! The good was quality and delicious. I couldn 't pass up trying the wing and rib combo. My choice of side was the sweet potato fries, and they as well were cooked perfectly. Nice crisp on the outside and light, tender and not greasy on the inside. The wings I went boneless, and they were just about falling apart tender. The ribs had a nice bark and were just about falling off the bone tender without being overcooked. My 3 other compadres that joined me had nothing but good things to say as well about their meals. The service was spot on. I think they have telepathic powers. Not annoyingly in your face all the time, but just so happen to know when you need a fresh beer, napkin, or a refill on your water with lemon included. They have lots of T.V. 's for the games. The atmosphere wasn 't too loud and crazy, but you could feel the vibe in the air. Everyone around was enjoying their time their. I wish I lived closer. Unfortunately, it 's not in my neck of the woods. The prices were right where they should be for food and drinks with the current inflation, so getting out of their cheap is unlikely unless you just get a couple of happy hour specials. I think that keeps the place right at capacity. A table freed up right when we got there, so we almost had to wait but didn 't. I highly recommend giving this place a shot! "Yesterday, I ordered two Fire Chicken Burritos, which were supposed to feature Fried Karage Chicken, for a total of $31.34 at the Chandler location. Unfortunately, both burritos were made with regular chicken instead, significantly changing the flavor. I reached out to Pokitrition to resolve this issue and received a Google voicemail response asking for my name. Despite leaving a message expressing my concerns, the receipt didn’t include a phone number. Later, I received a text from someone named Ivan who asked several questions but didn’t provide any solutions. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I will no longer be visiting this restaurant. I recommend double-checking your order before leaving Pokitrition in Chandler, as they don't seem to prioritize customer satisfaction."

"Have been here for a birthday dinner and a group dinner now. Both visits the food was brought out quickly even with how busy they seem to be. The food is great and has enough variety for most. "Amazing little Diner. I came in for an omelet craving and ended up with a chicken fried steak platter which did not disappoint! I also ordered the green chili pork burrito to go cause I'm a sucker for warning descriptions of hot(spicy) food. It was amazing and yes it is hot. Service was attentive and kept me topped up, and the cool atmosphere of a retro diner really brings it all together. Highly recommend, and I for sure will go out of my way to come back."

"This is one of the best locations I have been to with the best customer service. I’ve been consistently going here for the last two years and I am always leaving satisfied. The entire staff is very accommodating. I believe most of the staff are teenagers/young adults and they provide some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I am Muslim and it is important to me to make sure that my food is not cut with the same utensil that has been used on meat products. Every time I ask to have a clean knife used or to change their gloves they always honor it and never give me a hassle. This means a lot to me. Thank you so much to the staff for being so kind, always. You deserve a raise!"

"The food is tasty, but be cautious when placing your order! At the start, you're asked if you'd like red onions and avocado. I said yes, but they only give you a small amount of shredded red onion and maybe a tablespoon of avocado. What they don't mention is that the avocado costs $1.50 for that tiny amount! You'll realize this when you receive your bill. They are very prompt with their charges. Honestly, it's not worth the price; it came to over $45 for two bowls and two drinks. For the same price or a little more, you could go to Sushi n U and enjoy freshly made sushi. I will say that everything was fresh, so I give it 3 stars. However, I find their pricing and fees to be quite misleading."

"The food here is great. That hasn't changed. Just it is now the fifth time I came here and was turned away at the door. I excuse this a few times and I modified my behavior, now calling before I drive over. Today I called, was told 4pm is the closing time. I arrived at 3:40 and they were closed. Tell me, what changed from my call at 3pm in just 40 minutes that would invalidate their answer. All I can say is, call before you go to check and don't ask closing time. Say something like when does the kitchen close? . It isn't totally unreasonable to close early...but to tell me the wrong information on the phone just 40 min before I arrive is crazy. So many times now I have failed to get food that I'm not sure I can continue to make a special trip to Chandler to go to Espo's. Better management would make this place a 4.8 star."

"1st time here and it did not disappoint.. im not normally a picky change a bunch of stuff kind of guy but today I was in a specific mood so the backyard burger got tomato onion jam on the side and the sweet pickles changed to dill and a side salad instead of fries cooked medium.. everything came out exactly as ordered.. the quality of burger was outstanding and the sliced burnt ends were delicious! My hat's off to Mark! The side salad was nice and cold too and fresh too! It's nice to not have wilted or brown lettuce like you get at other places.. the wife had chicken strips and they looked dark like they were over cooked but she said they weren't and they were quite tender and the seasoned fries were delicious! "Everything was amazing! We dined on the rooftop, and everything from the drinks to the food and dessert was delightful. The chicken tenders were the best I've ever had—definitely not your typical ones. The mac and cheese was incredibly flavorful, especially with the sautéed onions and jalapeños mixed in. The deep-fried cake batter with ice cream was a delightful chocolate treat, and it was the perfect size to share with four generous pieces. We'll definitely be coming back!"
