"I remember coming here when this former biker/dive bar first opened. The old clientele wouldn't let go, but these guys hung on and built up a great business for the area. At the moment they are expanding the building, so I would recommend calling ahead. My friends and I were able to get sidewalk seating on a recent pleasant summer afternoon. Parking can be tough, but I've been lucky enough to get spots right out front along the street or across the street. Our server Ken was prompt, courteous and a good conversation. Drink wise they had a decent tap list with several different styles. I stuck to their bottle list which had several West Coast style IPA's I was in the mood for. Their food menu has a great mix of options. Lots of apps for single serve or sharing, several salads, sandwiches/wraps and a solid list of entrée options. For an app we shared the Cheesesteak Dog Ears which come with a side of cheddar ale dipping sauce. They come in three and were a nice change of pace from the standard eggroll cheesesteaks apps. I forget how Ken told us they prepare the dough for them, but it is not fried the same way as an eggroll. They were soft on the inside with a slight crisp to the outside. The cheddar ale sauce is delicious and very addictive. For dinner I tried the Cheddar Ale Bacon Burger our award winning burger topped with cheddar ale cheese sauce, bacon crispy onions at $16.50. I added Jalapenos for extra kick and flavor. It looked like it came on a Le Bus Brioche Bun. The burger/meat itself was fresh and tasty, the cheddar ale cheese sauce was again delicious and the combo of bacon, crispy onions and jalapeno really took it to another level. My wife came here years ago with a girlfriend for Brunch and really enjoyed it. I could write on and on, but Dog Bull has always been a good friendly can't go wrong visit if your a craft beer or food fan. Thanks as always guys!"
