"This is a place I adore and visit often. I’m happy to edit this review to give five stars if someone can fix my problem simply because it’s my last resort. I ordered delivery from Toast via there website which took me to order through google. The process to order was easy, it said the ETA for my food was 40 minutes. I placed the order at 10am. 40 min passed and still no sign of my food, I wait longer because I live in an apartment and thought maybe the delivery driver was having a hard time finding my unit. It is now 11:20 and still no food. Google tells me to contact Toast if I haven’t received my order so I did. When I first answered the phone a woman answered, I told her I had just placed the order, and then we were disconnected. I call back, the same woman answers, only this time with a terrible tone. I start the call off again by saying “i’m sorry I think we were disconnected but I placed a del-“ this woman immediately cut me off by saying “right what was your name.” in an extremely rude tone. I told her my name, she told me the driver just left. I explained the situation again and she told me I don’t know you have to contact the driver, and when I told her i was calling Toast directly because that is what the delivery service instructed she told me that I in fact had not placed the order an hour ago and that if i had, it was a glitch in the system and still not her fault. So to just wait for my order. This is the first time id been spoken to so awfully and rudely by any employee at Toast and i’m SO disappointed by not only her lack of customer service or empathy when i was being extremely patient and kind but also this situation. If someone could contact me directly it would be greatly appreciated. Update: Finally received my food at 11:25, and I received the wrong food! I’m so saddened by this experience."

"I had the worst restaurant food I've ever had at Romano's today. The one and only redeeming factor that earns Romano's two stars is that the service was excellent. Our server was so nice and very attentive. Unfortunately, the food was ghastly. We had the Romano's Triple Treat (eggplant parmigiana, cheese ravioli, and homemade spaghetti) with sausage, Half Spaghetti Half Ravioli with meatballs, and the Jumbo Cheese Ravioli with mushrooms. The best ingredient here was the sausage, even though it seemed frozen. Everything else was left to be put in the trash. The Stella Artois was also perfect, but it's difficult to mess up a bottled beer. Everything was consistently tasteless, and felt like food that would be served in a nursing home. To people without teeth or a normal palate, I can imagine this food being enjoyable. If you have teeth and enjoy flavor, stay away. The homemade spaghetti was overcooked and starchy. The tomato sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee. The ravioli was tasteless and watery. The meatballs were a sinful texture like that of mushy cat food and had no flavor. Cutting into the meatballs, you can instantly tell that they are absolutely wrong. The eggplant parmigiana was smelly, soggy, and inedible. For a $100 bill, this was a huge, overpriced, disappointment. I can appreciate the sentiment of this being a family restaurant, but whoever's running and operating in the kitchen is doing it incorrectly. It absolutely kills me to write a review like this. I want to thank the service staff for their great work."
