"Was looking for somewhere to eat didn't want the hotel food and wanted to dine in. Went on Google and the pub was 10 mins away....well thank you Google the food was delicious!!!! I loved the onion rings the Philly pretzel with cheese, the pizza cheese steak and the Swiss and mushroom Angus burger....oh my!!! Now the drinks could have been a lil stronger but other than that no complaints. Our server Christian gave us great service and the bathrooms was cleaned. If you go"

"This was ABSOLUTELY terrible. If I could give a 1/2 star, I would. I can't imagine who would like this restaurant, but I imagine them to be like the other clientele we saw in there far right of center. That in and of itself is not a problem, but the food was awful. I ordered one with whiz, mushrooms, and cooked onions: the meat was unseasoned, the bread was soft but bland, just like the rest of the meal. My husband ALSO ordered a cheese steak, but inexplicably his sandwich had ground beef. Neither of us have any idea why this place has nearly 5 stars, a seemingly loyal customer base, or how it can even call itself a restaurant. It looks like someone took their home decor (including military photos they found at swap meets and a basic refrigerator in the eating area). Mom and pop shop in all the worst ways. We took leftovers in a box and immediately threw everything in the garbage out of the owners view, as to not directly insult them. Don't waste your time."

"In a very unpleasant tone, the manager asked what I wanted. I replied that I would like another order of wings, to which he responded that I would have to return all ten wings. I explained that we had already eaten a few before discovering the hair, and he chuckled, which I found inappropriate. Additionally, he mentioned that my daughter wouldn’t be allowed to order from there anymore for some reason. I told him it was no problem, as I would place the orders myself from now on. He curtly thanked me and hung up without any courtesy. I was really disappointed and have decided not to order from them again, which is unfortunate. It wasn’t about the money—I placed an order with another restaurant just ten minutes later. They’ve lost a loyal customer."

"We decided to try some local Philly pizza while we were passing thru and found Romano's not too far from our hotel. We called and ordered as they do not deliver and picked up our pizza and salads then took them back to the hotel. Our sons small cheese pizza looked good and he ate it before we could take a picture so that says it was good. My wife and I got the Romano's Supreme pizza and I must say it is stacked with toppings and is nearly perfect. My only gripe is I do not like canned mushrooms and it had a lot of them on it. So much so that I believe they were the culprit of the somewhat soggy crust. My wife did not eat her salad but when I dug into mine I was very disappointed to see brown and some pieces of rotten lettuce. I am a salad guy and find this way too often on take out salads, where is the quality control! Ultimately I would go back for the pizza minus the canned mushrooms but would definitely skip the salads."

"We've visited this restaurant twice in one week! The chicken parmesan with linguine is fantastic; it comes with either soup or a large dinner salad and is comparable to what you'd find in a traditional Italian restaurant. The portion sizes are generous enough for a second meal! The salads are fresh and crisp, and the chicken pancake is simply amazing—homemade perfection! The staff is friendly and hardworking, with no sign of laziness. We went after 7:00 PM both times, but we plan to return at different times of the day. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews—give this place a try!"

"Do NOT eat here at all. Spend your money somewhere else and tip someone who has earned it. Our waiter was Courtney and she is very unprofessional. You should not be waiting tables and having normal personal phone conversations via Bluetooth. The onions in my hashbrowns tasted just like the grill it was cooked on. "I used to work in west chester and beg my coworkers to get Americas pie every day for lunch. Everything is good! But they have the BEST blackened chicken Cesar salad I have ever had. I moved to Wilmington, DE and searched high and low for a salad as good as there’s it simply does not exist. Finally I drove to the Essington location to get it because I couldn’t stop thinking about it worried that it would be different at a different location not the case. My 12 year old daughter a Cesar salad expert agreed it is the best around. I’ll be making the trip more often."
