"From the moment I walked in the place smelled amazing. Not only the smell of baked goods was in the air but the coffee too. I could hear the staff take care of some regulars and strangers and you could tell they were genuinely taking care of them and they were also efficiently communicating to get everyone in and out. My almond milk iced coffee was incredible and my egg sandwich was fresh, crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. Love it. "I absolutely adore the food at Ginos and make sure to stop by every time I visit NYC! The staff is also incredibly friendly and I always have a wonderful experience here. I first learned about this place when I was a student at Queens College in the early 2000s, but back then I couldn't afford to eat there often because of college expenses. I highly recommend trying the margarita pizza and avocado salad!"

"This pizza joint is a neighborhood gem. I've been a loyal fan for over a decade, and even though I've moved away, I still make the trek just for their pizza and garlic knots. Their garlic knots are soft, pillowy bites of heaven, bursting with garlicky flavor. Dip them in the side of marinara and it's a match made in food heaven. As a vegetarian, I’m very happy with the variety of slices. The grandma slice is my ultimate go-to, but don't sleep on their regular slice either, it's consistently solid and hits the spot, also highly recommend their eggplant slice if you’re feeling adventurous. Service is meh, they’re not rude but not exactly friendly either. Always lots of seating available, old-school decor, walls are filled with pics of the owners and random celebs. Unfortunately, they have been inconsistent lately. The last time my entire grandma pizza was basically charred and the cheese was burnt to a crisp. Since I’m not fond of crunchy cheese on my pizza, I had to remove a star. Fingers crossed they get their act together."

"Pop's Diner is a fantastic spot tucked away in Flushing, and it feels like a longtime local favorite. The menu offers delicious options at very reasonable prices. I tried the French toast, which was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My wife enjoyed a classic BLT that was equally satisfying. The coffee was just right, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Note that Pop's Diner is cash only, but there's an ATM at the Walgreens next door. I’ll definitely be returning!"

"UPDATE: My rating went down from 5 to 1 only because of rude server/cashier during my recent visit. My old review was, ?One of the best place for awesome Korean fried chickens.? But now, I say that food never taste good when the service is poor. I went again and asked for a draft beer and lunch combo. Since I am having a beer, I requested if I can switch free beverage with a tiny bowl salad? After a few conversations here and there, she said she has been working for 2 years and never had this kind of request. Who says this to a customer???? I was shocked and asked her to go ahead with my usual order. Completely ruined my mood to have a good beer and lunch even the though she did give me a salad bowl. I really wanted to tell her that I have been coming here for more than 5 years and never has been the server this rude. Past servers were all very welcoming and even say thank you at the time of exiting. Don?t expect anything now. I have even brought my family and friends here in the past. No more. They lost a regular customer. There are better places to eat with more welcoming servers. Avoid it if good service is one that you always seek for. Bottom line: What good a food is when it ruins your mood."

"Just had there breaded chicken sandwich with roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella and there homemade pesto sauce on the ciabatta. Wow! Amazing. One of the best Italian sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. lived by this place for close to 30 years and finally tried it and will now be a frequent customer. I would upload a picture of the sandwich but I ate it that quick. Definitely recommend. Tip: add there balsamic on the sandwich, you won’t regret it"

"The Triple Sesame waffle pleasantly surprised us with its sesame-flavored batter, giving it a nutty and earthy taste from the black sesame seeds. It was so good that I might try a plain sesame waffle next time! I also have a bias towards dragonfruit. The Ube ice cream bubble waffle was on the sweeter side but still enjoyable, especially with the mango, mochi, granola, and ube syrup toppings providing different textures. Personally, I'm not a fan of the ube mango combination, but if you like tropical flavors, you should give it a try. I wish there was mashed or pureed ube added to the original bubble waffle for more flavor and color. Their Mixed Fruit Tea was a refreshing choice recommended by their staff, and I was impressed with the perfect sweetness level at 30% sugar with less ice. It had brewed tea mixed with fresh fruit slices. The Cheese Taro Milk was average, so I would suggest saving room for their tea instead."

"First of all great menu selection, and great food. But wanted to give a shout of thanks and praise to the waitstaff and management. Our large group really appreciated the accommodating, super friendly nature of the staff. They made us feel like family. We did get there just before the dinner rush the 2 nights we visited but they were quick to accommodate our 12+ group the first night and 25+ group the 2nd night. Everyone loved their food and our vegetarians had a lot to choose from too. Each night one waitress took care of our group and it was astonishing how quickly our orders were taken and our food was received. Management checked in on us regularly with friendliness that warmed our hearts. Thank you to everyone at Johnny’s Pour House for taking such good care of our volunteer Kingdom Hall roofers- The High Vis Gang"

"My friend brought me here, it was cool. The food is all very affordable and delicious. I had egg fried rice, soft...it comes crispy too, I tasted both. My rice was brought to my table, the egg was added and tossed and fried right in front of me. I didn't expect that but I loved it so much. I can still smell the lovely warm toasty rice and delicate egg as it sizzled; increasing my hunger. It tasted as good as it was aromatic. The garlic noodles are far from basic. So so good, flavorful and perfect texture. The spicy beef noodle soup was yummy. The meat selections we had were all tender and delicious. My friend kept ordering more. I had to rate the service and atmosphere 5 stars because it's unique. The team that runs this restaurant actually makes the atmosphere what it is. Let me explain...the staff is cool. They're really chill. The waiters are more like a friend or neighbor that's glad you came by hungry. I felt like they were charmingly eager to see us enjoy what they had on the stove. I like that. They really wanted to see me enjoy a good meal. They showed us how to use the grill, and told us the best cook times for our meat selections. I appreciated that. I look forward to returning to try other foods."

"The food here is absolutely delicious! I ordered the curry laksa with chicken and added shrimp for an extra $5. My family also sampled the rendang, lamb curry, fried chicken, half fried chicken (which resembled Peking duck), roti, and satay. Everything was bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. We shared our dishes to make the most of the experience. The staff was very attentive, courteous, and helpful with our orders. My only complaint is that there were quite a few flies in the restaurant, which I found strange for December. Overall, I highly recommend this place. The portion sizes and prices are excellent!"

"I’m only giving 1 star for the grilled clams which was delicious.We went with 4 adults and 2 kids. For apps we ordered: Chicken nuggets for the kids I’ve had better frozen nuggets from target. Calamari edible but definitely not worth the price. It was clearly frozen and warmed up and just edible. grilled clams delicious oysters decentFor dinner we all ordered the boil and that’s when the entire dinner went south. It was DISGUSTING!!!! I don’t know what they were thinking…they boiled the seafood in plain tasteless water then dumped it in what looks like a dog food bowl and then poured disgusting sauce on top of it barely covering the food. This is not ok!!! And to make matters worse…the seafood had a fishy smell. None of us finished our boils which never happens AND none of us took it home. I asked the employee why the boil looks like that and their response was because a customer told them that it tastes better that way. They definitely should not have listened.And to make matters worse…the bill was insane for food we didn’t even eat/enjoy.I’ve been here a few years back and the boil was in a bag and the food was delicious.Now… I won’t be going back and will be reviewing in all apps so others don’t have to waste their money like we unfortunately had to. I don’t even have pictures to show because it was so disgusting."

"I wish I can give it a higher rating but given the price point for the food, it's more at 3 stars. My party of three ordered the half duck, boiled stripe bass with pickled cabbage and the fried tofu with seafood on sizzling plate. We also got two rice bowls and the rice was clumped together on the harder side (it did not seem like fresh rice). Half duck was $46, which was overpriced and the skin was not crispy. The fried tofu with seafood was also overpriced (there was barely any seafood). The best dish was the fish with pickled cabbage, taste wise. I think szechuan mountain house, in comparison, has higher quality food and more cost effective too."

"My good friend and I decided to host a group get-together. Two months ago, I made a reservation for today. The ambiance was perfect for brunch, lunch, and dinner dates. It has been four years since my last visit to my favorite MFC location. I am back! Food *sharing is caring* Parmesan Truffle Fries: The fries were crispy and yummy. Poutine Fries: The crispy fries topped with bulgogi, corn, onions, and gravy were yummy. Bulgogi Toppoki Japchae: The rice cake, bulgogi, and Korean glass noodles were delicious. Signature Wings Medium (Soy Garlic): The fried chicken wings were finger-licking goodness. I am Team Wings for Life! "This place took place during an earlier trip this year and was so glad to return. We had ordered in another place and were so disappointed that we returned the complete order for a refund immediately. The family property radiates with pride on its product and the way they treat you. My son and I had a few slices while we waited and we knew we had our meals on the basis of alone. "what I ended up getting as Lemonade is a bottle of country time lemonade. Less than 1% real juice in it, full of junk like high fructose corn syrup. This is what I ended up paying 4$ for? There 's no description in their menu it straight up says lemonade , so you would assume they 're at least making it themselves but no, they 're re-selling drinks at a marked up price it seems because this bottle of country time lemonade is sold for no more than $2 everywhere else. 4$ isn 't cheap either, and this what confuses me; the Chicken Noodle was pretty much perfect all around when it came to value and satisfaction. So why is this place messing up with their beverages?"

"Got a full pizza to go. I believe the owner was at the counter. She was very pleasant. I asked if she could put the whole pie in a smaller box as I will be flying with it. She did a fine job of it as I was able to heat it up and enjoy for dinner with my family! Pizza was super what more can I say, it’s a NY pizza!"

"Paratha is a hidden gem in Queens, known for their dedication to detail in their menu and authentic desi flavors. The atmosphere is artfully designed, with a new cute backyard seating area that has replaced the street seating during the pandemic. The staff at Paratha are all fantastic and the food is outstanding. Highlights include the Curry Coconut Shrimp, Roti garlic paratha, Chana, Daal tadka, kale fritters, amritsari fish, saag paneer, and the must-try samosas with tamarind. They also now have a cocktail menu in addition to being BYOB. Overall, Paratha is a fantastic spot with amazing vibes, friendly staff, and incredible food. Be sure to swing by their backyard for drinks and a great experience."

"Staff is nice, just not enough people working, atleast when I went. The meal prep food is okay and their protein shakes are good. I have to try their açaí bowls. Nice nutritious place. Somethings have too much sugar in it though and high in calories. Overall the new hyde park location was less packed and more quick. I was rushing to get to work needed something to eat and thought it would be quick. Also it took forever for someone to take my order. I understand that they were busy and all, but there was one staff member doing nothing. I felt they were doing unnecessary things too, like taking pictures. Can’t that wait? Like there are people waiting."

"I decided to stop by and check out this restaurant, and I was really impressed from the start. The place was very clean and well-organized, and the food had an amazing aroma! I ordered a combo platter over rice with extra hot and white sauce, plus a full pita on the side for an extra $2. My total came to $14.64, not including a drink. It felt a bit pricey, but it was lunch time. When I opened my plate, I was amazed at how generous the portion was! I felt much better about my spending after seeing how much food I received. To my surprise, my order also came with fries, and I have to say, they were the crispiest fries I've ever had. The salad with diced cucumbers was tasty as well. This is a fantastic place, and I would highly recommend it!"
