"The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely fantastic. I had chicken wings, which were among the largest I’ve ever seen. They were fried whole wings, rather than the buffalo-style wings you often find. My dad ordered chicken tenders, which were thick strips of tender white meat, while my mom tried the fried livers and gizzards. The portion sizes were generous, as shown in the photos. The french fries were excellent—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a nice hint of spice in the seasoning.
The mac and cheese was just okay, pretty bland and tasted more like creamy pasta. I’ve had worse, though. My parents enjoyed the cole slaw, and my dad liked his fries as well; my mom thought the okra was good, too. I would definitely come back here again.
One downside was the restroom situation, which was unpleasant. Only one of the three stalls was functional, and the other two had “out of order” signs on them. The usable stall was somewhat okay but had a strong odor of urine. However, the restaurant isn’t to blame for the conditions of the restrooms, as they are managed by the gas station."
