"The menu is just what you would expect from a place like this, featuring burgers, a variety of sandwiches—including a Walleye option—steaks, and some pasta dishes. For starters, I noticed the Asparagus Fries, which are battered and fried asparagus stalks. I regretted not trying them, but being week four of a much-needed diet, I had to save it for next time.
For our main course, we sampled the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. It was simply and beautifully presented, featuring a crispy roasted pork fillet topped with onions and salad, accompanied by a mayo spread all served on what was meant to be ciabatta bread. However, the texture didn’t quite match my expectations, although it was still quite enjoyable. I opted to share the chips with a cup of their Lobster bisque, which I believe was a great choice. The bisque was outstanding—thick, creamy, and delicious, with a rich flavor that seemed to be based on beef broth, adding depth. While the lobster bits were finely shredded—fairly expected for $4.50 (it turned out to be just a $2 upcharge since I was sharing the chips)—it was well worth it.
On the other side of the table, my companion thoroughly enjoyed the chicken salad wrap. It was creamy and not at all dry, complemented by the tartness of dried cranberries and the crunch of pecans. The only downside was that the cheese inside felt somewhat out of place and could easily be omitted.
Overall, we had a wonderful lunch with a beautiful view and fast, friendly service. I highly recommend stopping by, and next time I’m in the area, I’m definitely going to try those asparagus fries!"
