"My girlfriend made reservations for Friday October 25th for my 50th birthday celebration. The ambiance is warm, charming and there is a great vibe all around the restaurant. They recently added a bar area and it’s quaint and perfectly situated. The owner sat us at our table right at 6pm. He was friendly and funny all while being very busy on a Friday evening. Our server was an absolute delight. She was attentive, she was engaging and genuinely kind. We all enjoyed having her. I wish I remembered her name (if you are reading this, we were the table that had the 50th birthday, and the trump card LOL). At one point I asked the owner where the ladies room was and he personally walked me to a second bathroom in the back because the one near me was being used. The service was impeccable. We laughed all night having fun with our server and the owner. Now down to the foodthe lobster ravioli with garlic butter sauce was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. You can taste that it is homemade with love. The pasta marinara was delicious, I am picky with marinara and this was mouth watering. The bread was buttery and melted in your mouth. On the way out, I said this is one of my favorite restaurants. Thank you Ann’s for making my birthday so special. We will be back! "The only thing good about our experience was the food. When we arrived, and we had reservations, the hostess totally ignored us, and was absolutely rude. When she was done complaining and taking a phone call, she then looked at me with her glasses down on her nose and said “hi, what” . Not a way I wanted to begin a celebration for my mother, who turned 79. The hostess then proceeded to take us on a long walk in a back room that was very chilly. The room was not decorated and very very boring with one other table in it. The hostess didn’t even wait for us (my mother walks with a cane) and just threw the menus on the table and walked away. We sat there for a good ten minutes before we were even acknowledge by our waitress, who had to be the rudest waitress ever! She was not pleasant whatsoever, took one drink order and immediately asked for our food orders without mentioning anything about any kind of specials or if we had questions, and didn’t ask my mother or my husband for a drink order leaves. Comes back and literally throws a bowl of salad and breadsticks on the table. When our food came, she was very abrupt in her speech asking who gets what literally plops the food in front of us. Not once did this waitress come and check on us during our meal. At the very end she comes with a pitcher of water, I just looked at her as we were done eating and water glasses were full, and asked about dessert. She acted as if we were wasting her time, and she rattled off the desserts, which we did get for my mother‘s birthday. I asked for a cup of coffee and again runs off, and when she comes back with the desserts I had to ask her to get my mother a cup of coffee, and she was huffing and puffing about that too. All I can say is I regret that we even left a tip, albeit it was much much less than we normally tip. On occasions like this, and the type of meal we had, and the time of the year, we would’ve easily left a 25 to 30% tip. I guess this waitress lost out big-time!"
