"For years, I have been obsessed with finding the perfect roast and often thought to myself, someday I would stop for a cup of coffee. As a loyal Starbucks customer, I noticed the manager enjoying a cup from Roast’d and he said it was "the best coffee around." Now I regret all the years I didn't stop by. The next day, I decided to give it a try and ordered a double espresso. After that first sip, I deleted the Starbucks app from my phone! If you truly love coffee, you will adore this little spot. The staff treats everyone like family, and I wish Roast’d continued great success. It’s truly surprising how remarkable it is! I have incredible respect for what they do every day for both new and loyal customers. Cheers to the experience, from your faithful coffee lover!"

"The Bagel Shop is only one of the cafes and restaurants I've enjoyed on the Boulevard in the lovely Town of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. I moved here in June of 2022 and have been enjoying exploring this Town and discovering restaurants, shops, also the Municipal Building with the wonderful library within it as well as senior center, free notary and more. My favorite restaurants are Fisher's Cafe, The Bagel Shop, Sophia's Mediterranean Grill, K&G Coffee Cafe, Heights Pizza, and the Ivy Inn. There are more restaurants and cafes that look worth going to and I will soon be checking them out. This Town has so many shops and services conveniently located on the Boulevard and that I can walk to. TD Bank, Walgreens, the post office, a health clinic, the Municipal Building with a great library and senior center within it are all very near me. There's a mall five minutes away by car with an Aldi, Dollar Tree and Panera and more. A bit further, maybe ten minutes away by car, is a Shoprite. It's a very convenient Town, especially for a senior who doesn't drive. The Town is picturesque with beautiful homes, lawns, trees. There are buses nearby on the Boulevard that go to other towns and to NYC. It's a most convenient place to live as far as stores, banks, post office, senior center, library and more all being nearby and within walking distance. And buses nearby to take you wherever you might want to go. The local newspaper, the Gazette, informs you of many events in Town and in surrounding towns. Many are free events, free concerts in parks, holiday celebrations, October Fest, and more. So 2022 in the lovely Town of Hasbrouck Heights has been a delight and continues to be. I'm so enjoying all this Town has to offer."

"We had dinner there before visiting the Bananas Comedy Club And I must admit I was a bit concerned walking into a near empty dining room on a Friday evening at 6pm. Our server was very nice. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely dinner and the food was very good I had the shrimp scampi over linguini which was very good while my friend has a thin crust pizza along with a Stella beer on tap It's my first visit here so I obviously don't have a lot to say but would definitely go back again. Super convenient when you're either staying there at the hotel or going to a comedy show They do offer a combo ticket of sometime with dinner and show but I didn't ask about it"

"Terrible service. The staff was rude when taking our order and constantly interrupted us. We didn't receive part of our order (garlic dipping sauce), so we called to sort it out. The person on the phone was unpleasant and insisted we hadn't ordered the sauce. I clearly heard my mother-in-law specifically request the sauce, not spicy, but we received nothing. When they finally delivered the sauce, they insisted on payment before handing it over. My wife asked if she could taste the sauce first, since many in my family can't handle spice, but the driver just got into his car and drove off over a $3 issue. These people are rude and refuse to rectify their mistakes. We've even had to return delivered food in the past to get a refund. I urge you not to order from this restaurant!"

"Good breakfast / brunch, even had gluten-free pancakes!! Great waiting staff. All employees had masks on EXCEPT of the Gentleman who worked the food sector. He had no gloves either. He was not very congenial to the employees who worked very hard! I love IHOP, but if I see this person working next time, I won't stay!"

"The Mexican cuisine here is of exceptional quality and always fresh. The handmade tortillas are thin, which is a great touch. The burritos are fantastic. The Spanish staff is responsible for the delicious food. Although the place is small, there's usually plenty of space. They also have a soda machine with a wide variety of drinks and free refills."

"I've been to this coffee shop many times for coffee. It is spacious and bright and a pleasant atmosphere. I recommend it for beverages. However, the times I've ordered food there, I've greatly regretted it. I continued to give it another chance, but never again. The food service is unbelievably slow. The most recent time I was there, I ordered a turkey club. It took 45 minutes to be served. Two other people who ordered food before me, left in disgust before receiving their food. And we were the only customers there, so it was not as a result of being crowded. When the sandwich finally came, no napkins were provided. No spoon or stirrer was provided with the beverage to stir the sugar. The whole experience seemed amateur. It's disappointing as it has all the potential to be a great coffee shop."

"Goldberg's Bagels is a regional chain of bagel vendors. If this store on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights is an example of a prototypical store, then the entire chain leaves a lot to be desired. My purchase history here has seen a Taylor Ham and Egg sandwich that featured a single slice of Taylor Ham, a bagel with butter that had a most indiscernible amount of butter that with the exception of two bites, didn't taste like there was any on it, and an iced coffee that was more discolored water than coffee. The prices are also considerably higher than other bagel places I've been to. Not a good look here."

"They have a very lovely garden. The interior also looked cozy and good. However, I wanted to give 4 stars in the beginning when I saw their dirty chairs and tables outside. The staff was very kind. When she gave me glasses upside down on the dirty table, I wanted to give 3 stars. When she served my soup, and she gave me a spoon on the menu, I wanted to give them 2 stars. You know, the menu was dirty, it had been touched by all the customers, and you don't want to put your spoon on the menu. Finally, when I tasted the French onion soup, I didn't want to give them even just one star since I hated too salty food. However, the next two meals of the 3 courses set were getting better, and I thought the price was right ranged, I decided to give 4. I am normally very generous for Google reviews. I ended up giving 3 because the paper of the plate of the fish and chips colored the fish, and we felt we ate some toxic chemicals. We gently let the staff know about the red coloring paper, and the staff did not seem to care at all."

"1st time here and service was great!The young lady was so helpful for a 1st timer with answering all of our questions and giving suggestions. She explained how freezing the pretzels and reheating them in a toaster oven or airfryer would get it back to how it taste when you just get it in the store.We settled on Spicy Pretzel Sausage, Mini Dogs, Pepperoni Melt and 5 Pretzels.She explained that it would be 15mins for the Mini Dogs and Pepperoni Melts so we said we would wait in our car and soon as they were ready she came out to tell us ?Hubby and I both loved the Spicy Pretzel Sausage. Definitely getting this again!I loved the Mini Dogs, they were like pigs in a blanket ?Pepperoni Melt was good especially with the marinara sauce but this must be eaten immediately! Ours got cold and the cheese was just a clump on 1 side as it was standing up in the bag LOL buy we did wish there was more pepperonis. ? Kind of stingy with the pepperoni for something that is called Pepperoni Melt... though Hubby was happy with all the cheese it had!Yelp offers a 15% discount for this location when you check in. :"

"it was difficult to find the restaurant as there are no signs outside pointing you to the restaurant, just the hotel. I was assuming that it was attached to the hotel but it is actually inside the lobby itself. It was more of a destination for people who are staying in the hotel than for random diners. It wasn't bad by any means but it wasn't spectacular either. The staff were attentive and nice, tho."

"I stopped by this place because it was recommended as an extra stop while placing a DoorDash order. The dessert photos looked amazing, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. We ended up buying three items, and the man behind the counter generously offered me something else to try from the case on the house. We had the cream puffs, the brownie sandwich, and a horn-shaped pastry filled with meringue. Each of them was incredible! He also let me sample a delicious nut treat. This will definitely be our go-to spot for desserts moving forward. We didn’t find anything else nearby that compares. They’re celebrating their anniversary next week, so I highly recommend stopping by!"

"I work in the area and have decided to switch to Popeyes for my chicken cravings from now on. Over the past month, my orders have been incorrect four times. On one occasion, a young African American woman at the drive-thru had a poor attitude and mishandled my order, forgetting several items. Just the other day during my lunch break, an older white woman with a shaky voice handed me a completely different order than what I had requested. Since there was no one behind me, it wasn’t a mix-up with another customer; it just feels like they don’t prioritize customer service. From what I've read in reviews, the manager seems unprofessional, so I have no interest in returning to this place. Thankfully, there are plenty of other food options nearby."
