"This restaurant is now known as Lamy's, but the food remains excellent. It has the same owner; only the name has changed. We stopped by while passing through Huntington in search of a quick lunch, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The soft tacos were fresh and delicious, all at great prices! The two of us had nearly more food than we could finish for under $15. The owner was fantastic and eager to prepare everything just the way we wanted. If you find yourself near Huntington, this is definitely the place to eat!"

"just adding to address the response. I do take back that you didn't offer an apology, you did. Sorry. However, our conversation and your response still do not address my chief complaint , which was not that your portion sizes were too large but that the person that picked up the phone should have suggested we had too much food and maybe we should cut back on one or tow portion sizes, especially since I made it clear how unsure I was and was looking for her guidance. That is the crux of my issue. i have been a regular patron for decades, by dining in or in some or in this case ordered in. i asked the receptionist for some guidance for 6 people, telling her we wanted 6-7 dishes. We were 6 people with average appetites and half the food is leftover. i understand that 1.5 orders feeds 4-6 people but what the receptionist should have told me once she knew we were ordering that many dishes we should have ordered less dishes ordered the single size portion in some if not all cases. Case in point, she suggested 2 full size trays of garlic bread (which was horrible btw) and 3/4 of it was left over. I unnecessarily spent an exorbitant amount of money on a 6 person meal, trusted the receptionist and should have received better guidance when ordering that many things. when i called back 2 days later to express my feelings to the manager, he basically offered me a refund for the garlic bread, not taking any responsibility for being totally misguided. LP has been doing this for decades and should KNOW that the more the dishes, cut back on the portion sizes...... Had i received a bit more of a token gesture and a small apology, you wouldn't be reading this review. DG"

"Ordered for delivery and what arrived was atrocious!!!! The fried green tomato was doughy and not fried properly. NO UTENSILS OR NAPKINS!!!! Forgot mayo and bacon on the burgers. The one slice of tomato was shriveled and very tiny. NO SAUCES for the fried green tomatoes again they forgot that also!!!! Not sure they will stay In business very long so if you are going to bombshells and burgers on 5th street in Huntington,against my advice , make it quick because this was the worst service I have ever paid for!!!!!!!! I usually never take time for anything like this or review anyone but C'Mon Guys!!!!!!!! The owner should fire the whole staff and start over in my opinion!!!!!!!"

"This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! Undoubtedly, it serves the best sushi I've ever tasted. My husband and I found it by chance, and we feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful experience. To make it even better, the owner, Benny, was incredibly welcoming and treated us like we were regulars. We truly felt like royalty—what an unforgettable experience!"

"Good food maybe they were busy?? I called it in. Arrived at the required time to pick up. Paid gave the cashier my name and confirmed my order. He said it was being packaged now. I stood and waited for my order for almost 30 minutes. They helped 5other customers for takeout whose orders weren?t even complete yet. After they were done with those people someone comes up tome and asks for my name and says my order has been ready? And in a bag on the shelf next to me? I like the food so I?moptimistic that it was a mistake. We?ll see what happens next time."

"This is the first time I have been to Oheka Castle. We went for an investor meetup and had a couple of drinks and some food. The menu is interesting and had some nice upscale choices. The service was good, and the grounds and much of the building are very pretty. The outside courtyard atmosphere is very nice. The food was tasty, and the presentation was pretty good This place is quite expensive though... The Charlie Chaplin room is very cool Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options on the menu Parking: Valet parking"

"The food was excellent, and our server was good. Food coming from the kitchen (including desserts, which were already baked) was slow, especially considering it wasn't busy, took a while. I don't know if the kitchen wasn't staffed as well as the floor was, but it was a bit surprising given that the dining area was half full or less. I've grown accustomed to this in Florida, but my family members who are local seemed quite surprised with this. When I'm out for a leisurely dinner, I'm okay with it. For those who don't dine out often, word of mouth could prove detrimental in the long run."

"I'm not sure what's happened to this place. I've been a long-time customer and have seen the quality decline. I understand its small business, and you guys wanna flip tables fast. But we got our apps, and then 1 minute later, our Ramen was put down too. Got the MB ramen. The pork belly was burnt, and the eggs were just regular hardboiled eggs, no marinade to them, just bland. "We stopped for dinner on Thursday night at 6:00. Don't wait so fast. There was only one server, and most tables were occupied so there was a bit for them to reach us (we were in no hurry). We ordered drinks at the same time. Beverages arrived immediately, but it was a good 25 minutes for the food. The Tenderloin was what my husband expected. He upgraded his side of Pommes to onion rings that were perfect! He also added one side of the green beans as his mother did. The Mahi was the perfect size, with one side of mushrooms and red potatoes. Nothing negative than planning to be there an hour or more."

"We were lucky to walk in at 11am and got a table(inside) on Memorial Day. We were greeted and accommodated right away. Our server was cheerful and welcoming. Made us feel good. We ordered our tea and coffee and love that they use La Colombe teabags. We ordered the Farmer's breakfast, chicken and waffle, a spinach tomato cheese omlette and a side of spinach. My Farmer's Breakfast was perfectly done with dressed green. Everything complemented each other well. The steak was done med rare and it was juicy. The chicken waffle is their special. Can't go wrong. We prefer The Huntington Shed over the Plainview location. The food is better. Both location has wonderful staff."

"I took a friend from out of state to Rosa's to experience New York's famous pizza, and she absolutely loved it! We ordered three slices: Caesar, Chicken-Bacon-Ranch, and BBQ. The first two were fantastic, but the BBQ slice didn't meet our expectations. We were hoping for something more like the buffalo slices. On a positive note, the service was outstanding, especially for a busy Friday night at 10:30 PM on New Year's Eve weekend. While it was a bit pricey for pizza, the quality and uniqueness of the slices justified the cost. The atmosphere was relaxed, with plenty of seating and other menu items to try. We will definitely be returning! We would have taken more pictures, but the pizza disappeared too quickly for us to grab our phones!"

"The chicken in the Chicken Fried Rice tasted bland and what little flavor there was was not good, though the rice was acceptable. The noodles in the Side Soba and Chicken Yaki Soba weren't awful but they did taste kinda like pencil shavings and peanut shells, although they were at least hot and fully cooked (and the chicken in said yakisoba was better than the stuff in the rice). The Philadelphia and Crispy Crab sushi rolls were fantastic, as was the Lobster Rangoon (which was unexpectedly sweet, but we actually liked it a lot), and those items were honestly the saving grace keeping me from rating lower, although I'd rather them be packaged separate from the hot foods so that the sushi stays cold (not a huge issue though, since they tasted good both warm and chilled). The only other thing I'd like to add is that when you order the Ramune (Japanese Soda), you aren't able to pick the flavour. I was stuck with orange when I'd have preferred lychee or hami melon flavour. Honestly if you order from here just get the sushi and Rangoon, the rest of it is kinda mediocre."

"I recently visited this cafe in Huntington and it quickly became my favorite spot. The menu is new age and organic, and they make the best latte I've ever had. I first tried the candy corn latte in October and I can't get enough of it. The fresh cream they use is amazing. The atmosphere has a hippie and happy vibe that I love every time I visit. The customer service is top-notch, with personalized attention and respect from the employees. They are also happy to give advice on your order.
