"DO NOT PULL UP AT THE DRIVE THRU! The Iuka McDonald’s is notorious for asking customers to pull up to the rail or to one of the numbered parking spots when going through the drive through. The issue lies in the fact that it affects their drive through numbers, which they are candid to share. That’s all that they care about – not that you are a paying customer, or that you shouldn’t have to pull to the side and wait 10 minutes more for your food. Their sole focus is to ensure they have “good” numbers, so that their owner and manager can hit the appropriate metrics to receive bonuses. Instead of just honing their internal processes and workflows, they inconvenience the customer. I have previously abided by their requests only A) to have them give my food to the wrong vehicle, which resulted in me having to wait an additional 15 minutes to get my food and B) sit in one of the numbered spots for 10 minutes with them never bringing my food out. I then had to go inside to get my food after all of that “drive-thru” hassle. The only way to change it, and make them responsible for correcting things is to refuse to play their drive thru numbers game. Remember, it doesn’t benefit YOU – only the Owner and Manager – and the irony is that you’re the PAYING CUSTOMER!!!"

"I was really impressed with this place, especially since I had never been there before. It's located along Route 50 in a rural area, surrounded by two cornfields. We tried the strawberry shortcake sundae and the apple crisp sundae, and both were fantastic. I also had a strawberry slush, which was delightful. We were very satisfied with the service, and we absolutely loved the country atmosphere."

"This was my first time eating at a Jack's and it was a good experience (in spite of it being during covid-19 partial quarantine). We ordered three meals for about $19. The burger I had was good but not necessarily great. I did like the bun on it though as many fast food buns are terrible. However, the fries really got my attention. I noticed they had a yellow-orange color in spots so I thought they must be seasoned fries. When we ate them it was not what any of us expected. The flavor on them tasted exactly like the butter-salt flavoring on movie theater popcorn! It was strange at first but I really began to like it. I would definitely eat there again if I'm in the area."

"Iuka, Mississippi doesn't have much to offer, and this place surprised me. I was a little uncertain when I first arrived, but these Italian beef sandwiches are the real deal! I only wish this restaurant were located somewhere I could visit more often. The person who served me yesterday, possibly Miss Donna, made a fantastic sandwich! "After being away from Iuka area for some time though today we would go back for a visit. Today they were having Jaybird market so seemed like a good time to check it out. Had a real good time and some real good food at Cream And Sugar 100 west front street. They have such a neat place with wonderful food. I had the Honey Mustard Chicken Melt, (that was recommended by our server Mariah A she was right on) the little lady had Chicken Salad and we both had the Pasta Salad for a side all was great. The only draw back is they close at 2:00 PM but do have breakfast so you need to keep that in mine."

"I don't know where to start with this restaurant review. The rice in the gumbo was crunchy and the gumbo didn't taste like gumbo at all. It was more like rice and tomato soup with some okra floating around. The sweet tea wasn't strong enough, it was too sweet and tasted like sugar water. I ordered the smothered chicken, but it wasn't smothered at all. The chicken was tasty and tender, but it was just BBQ chicken with sautéed veggies on top and no gravy. The loaded potato salad was a small serving and overwhelmed by mayo and sour cream. The fries and onion rings were good though. My party had the fried catfish and they said it was good."

"This restaurant is quite overpriced considering the quality of service and food. Nothing stood out as unique, and the menu was rather limited. We tried several dishes but were unimpressed with any of them, especially given the high prices. It was a letdown! Cleanliness also left much to be desired; the tables and chairs were sticky and had crumbs on them. The outdoor restrooms were also not well maintained."

"I've visited this restaurant several times since it was sold to new owners, hoping to see improvements in service and food quality. Unfortunately, each time I've gone, there have been issues with the fish, shrimp, and steak. The fish was always undercooked, with a gelatinous texture instead of being flaky. The steaks, which I ordered medium well, came back medium instead. Given the high prices of the food, I expect it to be cooked properly. I won't be returning, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a 4 or 5-star experience."
