"Looks can be deceiving The Dublinger is smaller in the inside than it seems on the outside. Inside, it lacks what you might expect from an Irish eatery. I left the following on the restaurant 's Facebook page on Wednesday following a bus ride from the Mansfield Senior Center. This chilly, but sunny Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 was a perfect day for a Senior Day Trip out for lunch, to a place none of us had been to before. I didn 't ask everyone of the 10+ people who went, but the general consensus afterwards from those I discussed it with was Never again. It 's a place we won 't have to go back to. I can 't speak for the others meal choices, but I can about mine. First off, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is simple and clean. A major disappointment was the seating available especially for Seniors, some 80+ years old (males and females). Aside from 3 small tables with 2 chairs for each, the rest of us had to sit on tall stools with hard seats (not pleasant on one 's behind after the first few minutes). It wasn 't the height, so much as the discomfort that was a turn off. Perhaps that 's the intent to not encourage patrons to linger and relax, for it 's not a place that encourages relaxation again not for Seniors. Granted, they also have outdoor seating with tables and chairs, but Winter is not a time to dine outside. Service was reasonably prompt, and food is brought to the table. Paying for the meal and beverages is done after one has eaten. My selection was a Wrap and a bottle of Pure Leaf Green Tea with Honey, and a bag of chips. I also purchased an Oatmeal/raisin cookie for later (which was delicious). My wrap was a Kickin Chicken Wrap, which was interesting with Breaded chicken, Cajun mayo, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes in a flour wrap. While it was plentiful and well worth the price of $7.99, it was too large, served COLD, but with so many large chicken chunks, it was virtually a dry wrap. A warm tortilla would have been appreciated, and perhaps helped to blend the ingredients better. Worth mentioning The employees were polite, cheerful, and friendly. I can appreciate past patrons enjoying their dining experiences, and I think that 's wonderful. I would recommend another table or two with chairs, however. I did have my take home half wrap for dinner after doctoring it up a bit. I removed the lettuce and tomatoes . . . sliced the chicken chunks in half and re positioned them on the slice of pepper jack cheese on the open tortilla half, added a little mayo on top, re wrapped and popped into the microwave for a few seconds. Unwrapped and added the lettuce and tomatoes. Because it was warmer, the tortilla was more pliable, so when I re wrapped, I could do it more tightly (about half the size they 'd had it). It was perfect! As it is, it 's not a comfortable restaurant for seniors. At one point the owner walked amongst the tables and stopped at the tall table I sat at with three other ladies, but never asked our thoughts about the food, instead he talked about baseball, and left soon after. Cheers, Livi Devereux"
