"I called the store and spoke to Frederick, who identified himself as the manager. When I inquired about why my order had been canceled, he claimed that my address was outside their delivery zone. This was a lie; the Papa John's app does not allow orders outside of the designated delivery area. I explained that they had delivered to me several times before and asked if they could expedite my order since he had made a mistake. His response was simply that they were closed.
I was furious and hungry, and I expressed my frustration, noting that no one had contacted me to confirm my address or inform me of the cancellation, which happened more than 20 minutes after I placed my order. Frederick lied again, claiming he had called but I didn't answer. I checked and found no missed calls or voicemails from him or Papa John's.
I then told him I would just pick up my pizza, and his answer was, "Nope, we're closed." They hadn't even made my pizza! I criticized him for being a terrible and unprofessional manager for waiting 26 minutes to cancel my order without any communication just moments before closing. I also mentioned I would be contacting corporate, to which he laughed and hung up on me.
This entire experience was utterly ridiculous, unprofessional, and felt like childish behavior. Frederick is a liar and a terrible employee. Papa John's needs to improve their service. Until tonight, I had never had an issue with them, but Frederick’s decision to cancel my order right at 11 PM left me with no options since everything else was closed. It was a horrible experience."
