"The food here is a level up of anywhere I?ve been in the area. The French onion soup is like Paris?it?s amazing and I will get it every time. The server told me they could hang their hat on duck cassoulet and he was not wrong. It?s just the right amount of food and it?s rich and comforting. My wife had the halibut and it was perfectly cooked. The cocktails were spot-on. Cocktail nerds will love this place. I loved the duck fat washed Vieux Canard (carre)."

"We were intrigued by a Hemingway-inspired restaurant, and just walking through the curtains leading to the front-door starts you off with a Speakeasy vibe. They have a novel way of organizing the dishes and cocktails around places and themes from Hemingway's life. We explored the menu tapas-style and all our choices were delicious and well prepared. Loved the octopus. Inventive drinks here. Definitely want to return. My one wish is for there to be more red-wine options below $70."

"Tucked away in a corner close to two awkwardly placed stoplights is a little Mexican gem with tight parking on an incline. But all of that doesn 't take away from what Plaza Garcia has to offer. If you are looking for superior customer service and great food at a reasonable (inflation adjusted price, this is it. On a hot summer day after a trip to the Juanita Friday market, we decided to grab some dinner even though it felt early bird(ish . The corn on the cob and the Salvadorian Horchata that we consumed at the market generated a kind of half empty half full hunger. We had driven by Plaza Garcia enough times to not ignore the 100% reopening and the packed tables. We caved! A decision that proved right I would say. We were seated right away and offered the traditional salsa and tortilla chips. We asked for hot salsa and the waitstaff got us 2 (a tomatillo and a chili . Very tasty and what can you say when you are offered seconds given that we ordered the Molcajete which does take time to make. We also got the vegetarian burrito. We were quite pleased with the Molcajete served with flour tortillas even though we could not figure out where the Nopales were hiding. Some of the best grilled meats and seafood. The rice and beans did not stand out as much...sort of like La Preferida if you know what I mean. The vegetarian burrito was decent though it lacked sauce on the bottom which would have really enhanced the flavor. Overall, a great experience and am sure it wasn 't the hunger writing this review : If you are looking to support small businesses, Plaza Garcia deserves your best shot."

"When I arrived at the hostess stand outside, I anticipated a long wait, but since I was dining alone, I was fortunate enough to be seated right away. Larger groups faced a wait of over an hour! I sat at the coffee bar, and the hostess kindly offered me a hook for my purse, a thoughtful touch. I ordered a berry and lemon juice, granola with yogurt, and a slice of pancake. Everything was delicious, especially the juice and granola. The service was attentive, friendly, and spot-on. To top it off, I had a delightful conversation with the woman sitting next to me. We quickly discovered our shared passion for food and AI technology, and even exchanged contact information. Overall, it was the perfect Saturday lunch experience!"

"Been recommended this place to get pão de quiejo and it did not disappoint. I prefer mini, bite-size and packs a flavorful punch! The doce de leite in original bread is interestingly savory! I’ve bought jars of doce de leite to try and they’re both good. Been on a quest to recreate those dulce de leche besito cookies sold in California! Writing this review gives me the urge to get me some Kitanda bread!"

"TL:DR Pretty solid, a little lacking, real price, worth a trip. Acropolis is pretty good, but it lacks a few things to make it a full five stars. No frits that, surprisingly, appears when you look at the sides and you are not a very good traditional Greek side. No alcohol, which means that meals that require a pairing of wine are met with soda. A little less spices that are desired on some articles. I realized I wanted more orregano that was strange. More olives necessary in general, but the food is all good in all. A definitive stop for a grinder."

"Now, let’s talk about the potato fries—they were unbelievably fresh! You can't get fresher than this. They had a delightful crispy exterior with an appealing color, while the inside was soft and fluffy. I enjoyed every last bite! All of this was served with a warm smile and a friendly greeting from the server. The place itself is nice and clean, with plenty of open space to enjoy this amazing food. The prices are very reasonable, and they offer a great selection of drinks, juices, and sodas. If you find yourself in the area and have a craving for gyros, you definitely need to check them out—you won’t regret it! There’s also a large parking lot, a gas station with a mini-mart, and a cute coffee barista serving up delicious hot coffee from her charming stand."

"Drove 45 mins to come to Lady Yum after getting a recommendation from a friend, and it was totally worth it! I don 't remember the last time I had good French Macarons was, so I was really looking forward to this. The options of flavors was just unbelievable! We had some really nice seasonal ones still related to fruit like percussion fruit, lavender, watermelon, peach. And then all the regular ones like th vanilla, espresso, strawberry, chocolate, oatmeal cookie, toffee, raspberry chardonnay, salted caramel. I went for the Vanilla bean and the Raspberry Chardonnay and they were just beyond amazing! The shells were just perfectly fresh and crispy, and a really beautiful filling as well! The vanilla was simple and perfect and I think I might even have like that the most! The raspberry was perfectly sweet as well and even had a jam filling on the inside. Such a beauty! My friend got the Almond Peach Prosecco , Wild Strawberry and Raspberry Chardonnay as well, and really loved them all! I tried both first two as well and they were really nice. Very fruit-y! Another friend had the Salted Caramel and the Wild Strawberry, and all she had to say was 'Oh My God ' on repeat! Even mention how these are beyond any other macarons she has ever had before! The store has a really cute aesthetic vibe; very photogenic! The person working at the counter was really nice as well. We really connected on our understanding of keeping a palate when having desserts; especially after I mentioned I have a food blog. She also have us extra macaroons from the ones that weren 't pretty enough to make the cut for sale, but we 're still good. 100 a must try!"

"Still one of my favorite restaurants. New Years Eve dinner was no exception. The service we received exceeded the standards for fine dining. Water glasses never even got close to empty, napkins refolded when we step away to the water closet and happy to chat about food techniques and tastes, even though they were crazy busy. The food was absolutely amazing and thoughtfully thought out. They even split our plates so we could try each others different entrees without reaching across the table. The only thing that might have been better was portion sizes. We have ate at a number of multi-course meals and usually you do not leave still hungry; it happens sometimes, but not too often. By the end of the meal, I was content, but I could have had a few more small plates. The main course is usually larger in size, here the portions were slightly larger than the other courses. Overall an outstanding time and I would strongly recommend trying this place."

"I would never come again. Before my visit, I had high expectation to Izumi, as I worked in Japan and I missed izakaya a lot. When I heard Izumi is run by Japanese and read so many good comments, I thought it?s the right place to go, but the experience was VERY unhappy. We waited at the table for at least 5 minutes without anyone taking care of us(though the staff walked around, they seemed so busy to stop by for a second and even avoided our eye contact . Asahi is product of Italy (so why I spent $13 dollars if I could get much cheaper one from grocery? The bendo box looked completely not worth for $40, the quality was not good and very small amount. I missed tako wasa a lot (very simple appetizer in Japanese izakaya , but izumi don?t have it and this tako was kind of ridiculous. Spicy tuna rolls are sooooo tiny and I don?t understand why they use nori, which completely covered tuna?s taste. Very disappointing and definitely not worth money. Will never go again and will never recommend to my friends"

"Overpriced for what you get. One scoop of ice cream is like 8 dollars. Gtfo here. 8 dollars should get me at least 3 scoops filling my dinky cup up. They don 't even fill the cones up much unless you pay extra. I don 't see why people support this type of business. Is the ice cream good? Yes, but is it really any better than what you could buy from a store bought tub? No. Also, when I say is it good ice cream? It 's not hard to make ice cream good, so it 's literally nothing special, just overpriced ice cream shop experience. Salt and Straw is okay, but it 's overrated, and most of their flavors are not very good. There is a reason they 're constantly changing the flavors because they don 't know how to make great flavors. I 'm not impressed by this business, and I don 't understand why my gf likes this place, but that 's life. The free samples are nice, though, but every ice cream shop does this, so it 's not a big deal."

"I visited the restaurant on the afternoon of August 19th around 6 PM, and I had a disappointing experience with the staff member behind the cash register. He was wearing a mask and came across as extremely rude and unprofessional. Even before I had a chance to place my order, he seemed annoyed. I simply requested a 12oz hot latte, which is a pretty straightforward drink. I understand that working a point of sale can be mentally taxing, but that's no excuse to negatively impact a customer's experience. Sometimes it's better to focus on preparing coffee rather than dealing with customer interactions. As a coffee shop owner, I hope he can take this feedback to heart."

"We love the Oto Sushi in Redmond and we? ve was quite often there. This time we were in the area and decide to eat here, think it would have a similar quality. But it was disappointing. The chicken caraage was dry, the dough tasted like dust. The ikura nigiri was quite fresh, but somehow blanden. The spicy tuna reel was only Blande, no taste compared to what we have at the Redmond branch; the sushi rice was dry, not sticking together. It's really not a good sign that we left food and didn't want to box it."

"we received great service from our gracious server. I was a little surprised that I could not sit until my reservation time and without my friend. Even with my friend, we couldn't sit up to our reservation time, which was 5 minutes away. that is not another restaurant policy I have ever experienced. a walk was set immediately."

"We have ordered from here a few times in the past, also considering the lack of good vegan options in this area in general. Good food, though I don't like the discarded plastic packaging. But today we were particularly disappointed that we get an egg frying, although we emphasize more than once on the vegan order. I really hate to throw food away, so I now eat with difficulties despite my philosophical stand against him (I don't think I have eaten almost egg in the last 30 years, and I can also see that I don't appreciate the taste of egg anymore). In any case, there is always an element of risk for vegans when ordering from a non-vegan place. So I only share a caution about this place from my experience today."

"My wife and I, and two close friends, at here last night to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. We started off by sharing the polenta a mushroom appetizer amazing flavors! . For our entrees we ordered the vegetarian lasagna. putanesca among the best said one of our guests who judges Italian restaurants by the quality of this dish , pork ribs, and grilled branzino. Finally, the restaurant treated me to a superb apple crostada with vanilla ice cream, plus a lit birthday candle and serenading me with Happy Birthday."

"Delicious! This is your classic general tso's chicken, mongolian beef, fried rice type of American Chinese place. If that's what you're looking for, this is the best place like it I've found in the Seattle area. I grew up in the midwest and Chinese is comfort food for me, and this is one of the only places around here that does it right. We got takeout and paid around $50 for 3 dishes and soup and the portions were incredibly generous. We'll have leftovers for days. Everything we got was great including the almond fried chicken. I'll particularly call out the fried rice, which was actually properly flavored unlike almost every other Chinese place in the area which serve pale almost unflavored rice that you have to drown in soy sauce. This place is going to be a staple for us and I definitely recommend it!"
