"I'm honestly surprised that this Panera location has a four-star rating. I've only ever done takeout here, and each time I get home, I discover that items from my order are missing. I know I should check my order before leaving, but they've confirmed with a seal that everything is included, even when I can see other takeout bags around. It’s incredibly frustrating because I live in Freehold, where there’s a Panera, but this Manalapan location is just a few minutes closer. Unfortunately, in my last four or five takeout orders, three of them had missing items. It's particularly annoying because I end up making a nearly 30-minute round trip to pick up items that should have been in my order, only to return home to a cold meal that I paid for. While the interior of this location is clean and the food meets my expectations for Panera, the takeout service is seriously lacking. I can't tell if it's due to an indifferent manager just signing off on the bag or if the young staff can't follow orders correctly, but either way, I won’t be ordering takeout or dining here again. When I go back to report the missing items, they offer a half-hearted apology and suggest a cookie as compensation."
