"I was looking forward to dinner, but unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to my expectations from my previous lunch visit. The dish was slightly overcooked, and the meat was on the dry side. It would be beneficial to add grilled tomatoes or cucumbers to create a better balance. Additionally, the meat and fish could use a bit more salt to enhance their flavor. On a positive note, the staff were extremely friendly, and it's a great place to experience some Colombian culture."

"A friend recommended I try this place, so I decided to give it a shot today. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a wide selection of authentic Italian cuisine, pastries, deli dishes, and more. It felt like I was exploring my Italian grandmother's pantry. To keep it short, the sandwiches here are the best I've ever had. Buying sandwiches from anywhere else now seems like a waste of money. When I tried the dom sandwich, I couldn't believe I had never been here before. It was that good. I can't wait to come back and try everything else they have to offer."

"Stopped here for dinner on a Thursday night after wanting to try it moving to the area. First impression is that it’s dark but somewhat cozy and quiet on the place’s dine-in side. I had the veggie burger with fries and my partner ordered the penne vodka personal pizza. The veggie burger was okay but my favorite part of the meal were the extra crispy fries. I tried some of the penne vodka pizza and it could’ve had a bit more sauce on it. Overall decent dinning experience. Parking: There’s a free parking lot for the plaza."

"I WISH I could give more than 5 stars. I just went for the first time the other day to celebrate my father in laws birthday and was blown away. Small, best to try and call ahead def packed but for good reason. I am Italian, grew up with Sunday dinners and my family and I know good food. Wow. From the appetizers to the huge delicious meal to the service I WAS BLOWN AWAY. The pasta fagioli was so so so good I had asked for some to take home. My husband and I live about 25, 30 mins away and we will keep coming here whenever we can get away. Absolutely incredible. The staff was wonderful, friendly. "We went to Vincenzo's yesterday for a baby shower. The food was truly amazing it started off with a vodka penne and that was very good followed by a green salad which was amazing and then we had our entrees I had veal parmesan which I haven't had a good veal parmesan dinner in such a long long time it was perfect.. "I was at Wendy’s in Middlesex, NJ today 1/14/22 and I went inside rather than going through the drive-thru and I’m glad I did because the young man who took care of me was the way I wish all young people did today. Unfortunately I did not get his name. He was African-American with glasses and he was very polite and professional. I just wanted whoever his Supervisor/Manager is to know you have a good worker there. Thank you to that young man! He really made my day!"

"I decided to try this restaurant since Sapore is no longer an option, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. I ordered a sandwich, and it arrived as a panini instead. The chicken cutlets were tough and hard to enjoy. The eggplant parmigiana came without pasta, which I could overlook, but at $12.99 for a lunch portion, it felt overpriced. As for the rice balls, I’m not sure you can really call them that, as mine consisted of just 1.5 pieces (they were cut in half; who serves rice balls this way?). The only highlight was the cannoli, which had a fantastic cream filling."

"Lomo Saltado is good, they make it with filet mignon. Portions are small compared to other Peruvian restaurants. Couple times now, they didn't have the filet mignon on hand so have served with flank steak. We prefer the filet mignon, the meat is very tender and soft. Overall the restaurant is nice and I would come back again."

PAPA has always done me right, just Gott my coupon for my free Papadia steak and cheese son.I'm from va, lived in new york for 4 years now in jersey. this PAPA is just right son. "First things first: This place is completely different from Chicken Palace (CP). It looks like CP was located at an address near Lena y Carbon and some people got confused. So most of the bad reviews are for CP and I guess it makes sense why they maybe went out of business. Welcome to Lena y Carbon! I posted a tip with correct name, address and phone until it's updated by the Yelp team. So please don't be afraid to try this new Peruvian restaurant! I stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant on Grubhub, and was in the mood for something different. I like supporting local businesses especially during this pandemic because they need us more than ever. Lena y Carbon has various locations, this one is #6 or VI. The other locations listed on Yelp had good reviews and food, so I felt confident ordering from them. My order was done via Grubhub for pickup and when I arrived my food was right on time. Everything was correct, packaged properly and I knew it was freshly prepared because it smelled so good. When I got home my food was still hot and I couldn't wait to dive into it. I got half a rotisserie chicken with yuca and tostones! The chicken was well seasoned and taste was amazing. The yuca and tostones were also great and I tried the chuafa (fried rice)and there's an explosion in your mouth with the rice and seasoning! Amazing food, affordable prices, visit Lena y Carbon VI in Edison!"

"this is an excellent Chinese restaurant. eating is excellent, they get a lot of food, many lucky cookies, gravy container are medium! my man ordered the sommen soup and he said they get 5 sommes in a pint! Most other Chinese places just give them 3. the lady behind the writing was very pleasant and friendly to speak. no one eats tables there now are stacked with chairs on them so that it is delivered pure out and out of door dash. you will not go wrong in this restaurant. 5 stars!"

"We have been there twice so far. Both times the food was really good. Normally take pics but for some reason we didn't. The paella was excellent. The grilled pork sticks and Hawaiian pork also. "This place has a 4.7 review but I can’t fathom how ? The online order woman was not friendly, which was a red flag .Once in the door you realize that the restaurant is outdated. Most of the customers were 60’s to 70’s and probably don’t leave reviews .The owners are gathered in the front and doing selective friendly, greetings to whoever walks in the door .The tall ,huge , heavy male made no eye contact with me . The l cashier rushed to get my card for the purchase as if I was attempting to loiter ? I believe the same person who answered the phone. She frowned while ringing me up and looked like she didn’t want to be there.She had dark, condescending energy No one wants an unpleasant experience when patronizing an establishment.Its a place where i did not feel welcomed. . I am usually a great tipper because i lovcw good customer service and small owned business . I did not tip because tips are for exceptional service. Save yourself some time , money and aggravation. With the customer service and taste on the food being subpar , Olive Garden would honestly be a better choice . I would never return or refer family and friends. ."

"I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. The staff at the front is friendly, but the older, disgruntled employee has a problem making sandwiches for customers of color. In the past, we have not felt welcomed here, but we had limited options after moving from NYC. Today, my fiancé tried to order three breakfast sandwiches and was told they couldn't make that many because they had no cooks, even though other customers were enjoying their meals. It's a shame that I had to bring attention to this unacceptable behavior."

"The General Tso's chicken was overcooked and dry. The Moo Shu dish was unimpressive. The biggest issue was the cost - 5 fortune cookies for $1.25, when my usual spot includes them for free. The total bill came to $48, with an additional fee for the door lock and mandatory tip bringing it to $31. This only added to the disappointment of the meal. They should be held accountable for their poor quality and pricing."
