"About 30 minutes later, Max, the owner, called me back. He spoke in an angry and condescending tone, asking me to clarify the problem. After I explained the issue, he asked me to bring back the poke bowls as proof in order to process my refund. I explained that it had been two hours and I simply didn’t have time to drop everything and drive all the way back to Mission Viejo to return two poke bowls. Max also raised his voice at me and told me to "cool my tone." Max, I have to say, you are perhaps the most unprofessional business owner I have ever encountered. I hope that makes you feel good about yourself. Yelling? Were you even there when I called? I repeatedly asked to speak with the manager, but they informed me you were not available. I wasn’t yelling; I was simply explaining how my order was incorrect. So feel free to make assumptions, but it seems like you are biased. Of course, you would side with your employees, but you weren’t present during the call, so perhaps you should gather facts instead of relying on subjective judgments. And yes, it is in my stomach—why would I waste food? When I called, I didn’t expect a refund; I didn’t even ask for anything, just maybe an apology for the mistake. They offered the refund, and then you called and said, "No refund." If you’re not going to offer a refund, it wouldn’t hurt to apologize for the error. I don’t need the $30 back; I just wanted some acknowledgment of the mistake. It's absurd to run your business under the assumption that everyone is trying to scam you. You think I’m shameless? You’re the one who is showing a lack of professionalism by responding the way you have on a business page. You can hang up on me, but attacking me on a Yelp review only highlights the type of business owner you truly are."
