"The food was not tasty at all. My husband had ordered black pasta with seafood, but the spaghetti had no sauce at all. It felt like spaghetti butter. I ordered the tuna and I asked for rare it came medium seared and soaked in oil. I then asked for bronzino, but it was not tasty and again soaked in oil. We celebrated our anniversary and we are very grateful for the little Prosecco gift, but they need to hire a new chef."

"We can’t say enough about the ambiance, food, wait staff, owner and manager…. Most especially the hospitality. We just got engaged and this was our first dinner out. Casey the manager brought us out numerous appetizers and glasses or champagne. He even sat down at our table to talk with us. We have never had an experience at a restaurant like we did here. I’ll tell you, it’s simply because Casey. He is the epitome of class, friendship, hospitality and respect. We can’t thank you enough!! We love you Casey!!!! Our serve Liz was amazing as well!!!!! The absolute best!!"

"I read the counter back from you on the pizza from Monmouth Monmouth beach. I run a business as well and have been fortunate. If someone isn?t totally happy I?m not happy. I?m really sorry to have upset you but would you rather not know about the problem. We order from you continually and my guys go there for subs. I didn?t need the discourse about your family. We all have that. I?m sorry but that?s how I felt. We called to get another pie and willing to pay but you were already closed. Your husband is very nice and so are you. It?s only business and it?s hard to please everyone. I just thought my brother being unwell was justified in his concern. I?m not a hater and have lived here in town for many years and support all small local business. I?m sorry you took it to heart. "We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday at this restaurant, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food exceeded our expectations. We had the entire dining room to ourselves, which made for a lovely atmosphere. We needed to guarantee a certain number of guests, but it was well worth it. One of the nice touches was the family-style appetizers served at all the tables. We were also allowed to bring our own wine, and they provided a bar area for us to set everything up for our guests. The service was outstanding, and we received numerous compliments from our guests about our restaurant choice, especially regarding the food's quality. Typically, when hosting a large group, the food may fall short, but in this case, the food was the highlight of our celebration. This place is truly a hidden gem located in a small strip mall in Oceanport, New Jersey; you might just drive by and miss it! Some of our guests came from North Jersey and have already shown interest in returning for dinner."

"I came to pick up an order For Uber eats I've been there before and the Spanish lady was working tonight who is always nice, and a Spanish male worker, and the owner. I came in there I said the name of the person I'm picking up for, they said oh can I see the phone. Okay, i go get it and I return. The owner said that's because some people open up the bag and eat the food. I'm like well, I'm not that person I don't do things like that. As I was walking out he made a negative comment That I believe his son repeated because he started to scold him for it. I don't know if it was racial comment but the enitre situation made me uncomfortable, that I don't think I want to return."

"Some might describe it as old or outdated, but to me, it evokes a sense of nostalgia. Monmouth is a classic racetrack that hosts seasonal live races and features a William Hill Sports Book along with a bar and restaurant. There’s no denying the building has its age, but it is well-maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the bar food is surprisingly good for what you'd expect in this setting. We often travel to this area for business but make sure to coordinate our visits to enjoy a day at the track and watch the horses run. During one of our visits, which took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, we appreciated the clear enforcement of social distancing, mask requirements, and restrictions on outside food and beverages, making it feel safe with relatively light crowds."

"I was somewhat hesitant between giving The Marina a 3-star or a 4-star review. My family, friends, and I have visited several times. During our first visit, the service was decent and the food was good, but they forgot the avocado on my taco. However, with each subsequent visit, the service has improved significantly and has become very friendly, and the food has been more consistent. My son did mention that his coconut shrimp was a bit greasy on one occasion. Ultimately, I opted for a 4-star review because of the quality of the food, the friendly service, and the inviting atmosphere. The menu is also noticeably improving and expanding with each visit. One area for improvement would be to provide clearer descriptions of the drinks, as some are a bit vague, and I haven't found a drink that I absolutely love yet—some even taste a little watered down. Nevertheless, we will keep coming back because things are definitely getting better! Plus, the kids and I really enjoy playing big Jenga!"

"As we wrapped up our meal, we were informed that the bill was on its way, which was the last straw for me. I felt the need to express my concerns about our experience. Samantha, who seemed a bit overwhelmed, was sympathetic but not surprised to hear about the poor quality of the food. After discussing the issues, she offered us a discount on our drinks, but unfortunately, she couldn’t provide any compensation for the meal itself. I also pointed out that our table hadn't been cleared throughout our visit, and it seemed like several other guests were looking to use the nearby clearing area. I understand that these are challenging times for restaurants, but if you’re going to charge a hefty $43 (which includes an 18% service fee), you should at least deliver better food and be honest with customers about what they can expect. It’s frustrating to feel taken advantage of. I would recommend not wasting your money at what used to be a great dining experience; it was disappointingly lacking. Addie Max"
