"We wanted a cozy setting tonight and we wanted to be able to catch some of the football games and this checked all of the boxes for us. We started with the Mexican street corn dip (probably one of the best bites I’ve ever had and what a generous portion! we subbed out chips for veggies (stick with the chips if you can but nice to know there is an alternative if you need . I got the steak salad with the balsamic vinaigrette (such a great dressing, our waitress said their dressings are made in house, I absolutely love that! What a great personal touch . I got a side of mashed potatoes which were also very tasty, these are not the boring box potatoes. My husband got the roasted chicken which was a nice portion over veggie. I’m looking forward to our next meal!"

"The food was amazing. We had the escargot, the tuna tartare, the blue point oysters and to finish it all we had a lobster roll with truffle french fries with this mayonnaise that was absolutely delicious. Every dish was superb and dipping the bread in the escargot sauce was just amazing because it's butter, olive oil and garlic so dipping the bread in that was just amazing."

"I made reservation to get the free glasses of house wine which were fabulous. Our host was also our server. He was gracious, helpful and so cute too. The foodxwas as always, amazing. I brought a friend and this was her time at Bosphorus ... she cooks and knows Mediterranean food very well. She ,was overjoyed at the authenticity of the flavors and graciousness of our server/host. I had the branzino filet Omgosh a huge portion enough for lunch the next day. fair prices. Great easy atmosphere"

"Found this hidden jewel because I couldn?t get in the restaurant I planned to visit. The Penne a la vodka turned out to be the highlight of my day. It?s the best pasta I?ve ever had in the past 3 years and it definitely showed me the true form of comfort food. I?ve never found myself smiling nonstop from the second pasta was served. Definitely recommend the pasta. Tiramisu was not too sweet, super moist and flavorful, perfect match with the extra foamy cappuccino served with perfect amount of ground cinnamon on top. Do not miss out on the dessert!!"

"We love this place and visit them weekly if not more. They have become family to us in Port, and go out of their way to make us feel welcome and well fed. The food is incredible and they'll make anything just the way that you like it. I know all of the names of the great people that work there, and they know mine. They treat my little son like he's the king of the universe high fives, first pumps, showing him how they make pizza, cutting up his pizza and bringing it at just the right temperature, taking care of his stroller... The list goes on and on. Just a few weeks ago my wife was picking up a few pies for guys doing construction at our house. When they saw my wife trying to navigate a few pies and a stroller, they walked back to the house with her, carrying the pies for her. Catered from them a few times and order in often. First class people and first class food. One of my favorite parts of this great town."

"Yummy gyro is not yummy at all. Tried food from this location a few times and disappointed every time. Although the lunch special platter sounds really good and has multiple options- it comes with very little food and I feel it is overpriced. Chicken gyro- thin and dry lifeless slices, very unappetizing. Rotisserie chicken plate came with a tiny piece of chicken, smoldered on the wing part- nothing to eat, very watery Greek side salad, rice okay, tzatziki extremely garlicky. Will not be ordering again."

"One of my favorite restaurants, my “go to”! The variety of choices, both the regular menu and specials can please any palate. The help is incredibly accommodating. It’s one of the few restaurants that offers to split an entree when you mention you are sharing various selections. They truly serve with a smile. The tip you give is well deserved and not obligatory."

"Had a lovely dinner this evening. The food waa fresh, seasoned well and light. Not sure what was my favorite, shared 3 appetizers, 1 entree, 1 dessert and cocktails. I highly recommend the French rice pudding, souffle, and red snapper. Also our waitress and the owner were kind and helpful in leading us to these tasty choices. This was our 2nd time there and will definitely return."

"The person who handled my order was quite rude. When I inquired about a well drink, he informed me that he didn’t serve it because he didn't want to and claimed it was company policy. There was no need for such rudeness. I felt he was just dismissing my request. It was honestly the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. He also mentioned that they didn't have cup holders and that there wasn't enough space for them. He even suggested that if I didn't like the prices, I shouldn't come here. Don't worry, I won’t be returning, and I’ll be sure to share my experience with my friends and neighbors."

"This place is truly exceptional and surpassed all our expectations. The classic Italian dishes offer fantastic value for the price. We arrived around 2 PM on a Friday and were fortunate to have only one other table occupied. As we were not from the area, we were looking for something light but affordable. This restaurant is a real hidden gem. The waitress was delightful, and the owner came out to greet us and the other table, which added a nice personal touch. It has an old-school charm that, in many ways, is more satisfying than modern places that prioritize high prices and aesthetics over value, taste, and quality—let alone generous portions. We also loved the fresh bread served at the start. We ordered several appetizers to share, and although we left feeling full, it was a comfortable fullness. The portion sizes were impressive for the cost. I will definitely return whenever I’m in the area!"

"This place is so so good. I highly recommend going here. There good is always amazing, I have never gotten a bad meal. I always go here and order in. The good is brought out fresh and hot, especially if its on one of those hot dishes that make your food sizzle. I recommend the chicken katsu for people who dont like spicy food and for people who like spicy or a bit spicy the bulgolgi soup (its called something else on the menu, its korean name). Also the togu cucumber appetizer is delicious!! The sauce that it has is sweet and tangy and filled with toasted sesame seeds. There boba is a frozen drink, not like regular boba shops, so the balls get less bouncy because its in frozen drink. But everything there, the aesthetics of the place is so nice. Its really nice and there usually is plenty of parking and its off of Main Street and by the train station!"

"We walked down the street and were halted by the smell of cheese, dough and spices coming from this place. We made a decision to try it for dinner and had no regrets. This is the kind of place where locals stop in to grab a slice of pizza throughout the night. This is the place where two Italian grandmothers will talk about how nice the delivery boy is when they see him walking back through the door. "Cool little rustic vibe to the place. We ordered the Paul Bunyan and the Flamin Bacon with a side the rings and fries. I was pleasantly surprised with the array of flavors on the Paul Bunyan. Typically Bison burgers taste gamey and usually people overcook it but mine came out juicy and tasted great. The Burban pear jam helped add a nice dynamic to the flavor along with the bacon. The flavors go well together on that bison burger. I really enjoyed the Paul Bunyan! The flamin bacon was good too. In my honest opinion it was tasty but wasn't something to rave about. It tasted like a typical cheeseburger with bacon and jalapenos on it. Nothing really stood out to me. if you are in the mood for a cheese burger with bacon and jalapenos then I'd say go for it. The rings and fries were also pretty good. I really did like the bbq sauce they gave on the side. It tasted very good when i dipped it with the onion rings and fries. Only thing I didn't like about the place was the creepy pictures on the walls with animal faces on people (I know it has nothing to do with the food but still super weird)"

"Found another little jewel in a Strip-Mall off Shore Road shopping around Long Island, we found this place to try, and glad we did. It is a clean facility with friendly staff. Carbon stove pizza with a delicious sauce balanced with fresh mozzarella and a slightly carburized crust. We cooked our pizza with fresh mushrooms and black olives and loved the sweet, perfectly carburized crust that complicated the rest of the ingredients. They mastered the recipe for perfection. Bravi? They also make a fine multilayer cappuccino! It's a bar only branch."

"I was in Port Washington for like 20 hours and I went twice. The rest of the time I spent in Long Island, I spent it thinking about Ralph's. My remaining time spent anywhere else on this world will also be spent thinking about Ralph's. I hate that I love it so much. It's complicated. Shaved ice seems like a simple thing, something I've always been unimpressed by. Grind up some ice and slather it in syrup y fake stuff? No thanks. But at Ralph's they take shaved ice to the next level! The ice is shaved very tiny and the texture is very, very smooth dare I say creamy?! The flavors are also exceptional! It's flavorful and I'm sure it's fake flavors, but it doesn't taste that way"

"We had a fantastic dinner tonight. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious! Both my partner and I had the roasted fish, which was one of the best I've had in a long time. As I have allergies, the waiter kindly replaced my side dish with a house salad at no extra cost. The sweet potato fries were really delicious, and the mac and cheese from the kids' menu was a hit with our three-year-old. We enjoyed the atmosphere and playing Trivial Pursuit while waiting for our food, which arrived quickly despite the restaurant being busy. Our dessert, the flourless chocolate brownie, was also delicious, as were the gummy treats that came with our son's dessert. Last but not least, our server Brand was amazing and made our experience very enjoyable, even agreeing to box up our son's leftover dessert as he had requested. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning!"

"A very nice and cozy restaurant. It's next to the water. We went at night and it's winter; so we couldn't tell if there were any views . However; I'm sure that in the Spring/Summer it adds to the atmosphere in some capacity. They offer an interesting blend of Peruvian and Japanese dishes on the menu. In addition, there is a small but nice sake selection as well. I really enjoyed the lamb chops and brussel spouts appetizers. The miso soup was good as well. I liked the scallops, but there was too much going on in terms of flavors. Next time I would order the Chilean Sea Bass that my wife had. This was very delicious. As for the dessert, my loved her churros! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall a good experience."
