"I'm a big fan of The Habit but don't get to go as often as I used to when I lived in Southern California. I'm currently in Chico and waiting for our location to open. I was able to visit the Redding location yesterday which was probably my fourth time there. The staff was friendly, the presentation was great and the entire order was correct. If we had one complaint it is just that the chicken tenders were a little overcooked and my children are a little more picky. Aside from that, was a great experience and looking forward to The Habit opening near me."

"Solid North Indian dishes for buffet, and you can taste a lot more of the lighter spices herbs than in most other Indian food restaurants' food. My go-tos are dal, saag, butter chicken sauce on tandoori chicken, with naan. I've never had hot kheer rice pudding, but it's a nice dessert after the buffet. One thing I would suggest is to put a bit more chicken pieces into the butter chicken. It's mostly sauce so I compensate by throwing that over tandoori chicken."

"I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a long time and have always enjoyed the food. However, my last two experiences have been disappointing. I picked up a takeout order on December 9, 2021 and unfortunately, most of the items were burnt, greasy, and inedible. The only dish we were able to eat was the sweet and sour chicken, everything else had to be thrown away."

"Acacia was a very kind waitress and helped out with my special dietary needs. My pancake was perfectly cooked all the way through with great flavor. Most places I order it it's raw in the middle. The skillet platter was very good and well cooked and seasoned with good portion size. The only disappointing part of both meals was the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were very dry and the white gravy was not as yummy as it looked. The coffee was served very dark compared to most restaurants watered down version .The restaurant and handicap restrooms were very clean. I was happy to see they had dividers in place between the booths. Very nice restaurant to take friends and family to. Overall much better quality of food than some other restaurants in town. And the staff seems to be happier than some other restaurants in town."

"Wendy, the girls and I were very satisfied with the food and service of this locally owned family restaurant. We love to support our fellow local businesses.From the salad to the pasta to dessert the food tasted so fresh. The various flavors of each meal was amazing. The tiramisu and carrot cake were the best ever. The portion size of the meals allowed us to finish each dish being appropriately satiated. The service was prompt and very friendly. "This restaurant would receive 6 stars if I could for everything except noise level. There are so many hard surfaces in this little gem of a place that the noise is not only energetic, as open table allows me to say, but Distracting and Annoying. We found it very difficult to hear the conversation at table if you are more than 15 inches inches away from the individuals at your table, which was the case for us, a party of four. A few acoustic panels on the ceiling and walls, which are fully available in cool designs that would not deter from the current aesthetics, would be a welcome addition and would have me saying yes to returning again and more often. Delicious food and amazing service at this spot."

"The Jamba Juice at this location may have a smaller staff, but they still deliver the same delicious and high-quality drinks. I ordered three large drinks, and my favorite was the Mango Go-Go LOL, which came to about $23. Given the scorching heat of 107°F today, it was worth every penny. Just a note, even though the windows are tinted dark and might give the impression that they're closed, be sure to check the door because they are open for business. Don't forget to explore their menu!"

"While exploring the city, I came across this gem of a restaurant, and it was truly fantastic! I ordered the California Chicken Sandwich with a side of fries, and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the food came out quickly, and the sandwich was delicious. However, my favorite part had to be the fries—they were cooked to perfection, crispy, and just the way I like them. I absolutely loved them! Overall, I’m so glad I discovered this restaurant."

"We found this restaurant on Yelp as we were driving on the fwy for a quick lunch on the road. We were very pleasantly surprised how good it was! We both had the Greek chicken kabob salad . It was just delicious with very fresh salad ingredients and freshly cooked marinated chicken kabobs. The only thing missing was if they served tzatiki with it instead of the yogurt. The owner greeted us with a warm welcome and they very efficient in getting our order freshly prepared. It's more of a take out or quick dine in meal type of restaurant . But it was a great find when yiu need a quick meal !"

"We've seen many reviews and we're anxious to try this fine dining restaurant. Well let me tell you words and photos cannot and do not do this place justice! Karlines is an amazing food and dining experience. Hunter was our server and his attention and personality is absolutely perfect. He was always there at the perfect time and engaged in wonderful conversations. Now let's talk about the food. We started with the cranberry apple walnut salad. We did substitute blue cheese for the feta, but hands down this is the most amazing salad we have ever experienced! The next course was bread and house made soup. The soup of the day was minestrone, not my favorite, until tonight! The bread, dip and soup complimented each other perfectly. On to the entree, chicken marsala. Chicken and heavenly sauce over mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and perfectly prepared Brussel sprouts, broccoli, and carrots. All this with a bottle of perfectly chilled bottle of pinot grigio! We couldn't even finish it all but dinner was so fantastic, we had to get a lemon cheesecake to go! If in Redding California, do not miss out on a chance to experience dining at its finest! "First time visiting Vintage Public House. We walked through the door and were immediately greeted by the hostess and taken to a table. The decor of the restaurant was warm and inviting. Menus, including a drink menu, were provided. It didn't take long for our server to arrive and drinks were ordered. After drinks arrived we ordered our food. We did not have to wait long for our food to arrive. Large plates, with large portions, well presented, in my opinion. The food tasted good, with good flavors and was served at an appropriate temperature. We had ordered the Cab Burger with Garlic Fries, Tofu bowl and Black Berry habañero street tacos. We enjoyed the drinks and the food. Now the not so great part. We arrived shortly after 5. So, as we drank and ate, the restaurant got busier. Unfortunately, our server had to attend to several other tables, including a group of ten. We also had 3 friends join us. Due to the busyness of the restaurant, we noticed there wasn't enough servers for the full restaurant. We waited well past 20 minutes to get one glass of water for our three additional friends. Then another 20 for two more glasses of water to arrive. By this time, we had decided that it was not going to be enjoyable to continue our visit, so we asked for our check. Seems things could have gone better. I wasn't able to try their great looking dessert, as I didn't want to wait the already unacceptable time to order it. I don't blame our server. It should be the Manager's responsibility to ensure customers are being taken care of in a timely manner. That didn't happen. I understand the limits of the current condition of personnel shortages. Seems a Saturday night should have a full staff. If not, there should be limits on the available tables to allow proper service for the customers. I haven't decided if I will give Vintage another opportunity for my patronage."

"I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is fantastic. My family dines here weekly, and sometimes even twice a week—it's that good! I highly recommend the potato tacos for vegetarians; they're incredibly delicious. My kids adore the steak street tacos with spicy salsa, and my husband always opts for the fish tacos. If you haven't visited yet, you really should give it a try. You won't regret it!"

"The hole in the wall burger spot. The locals burger joint. The mom and pop corner shake shop. All the stuff of legend. If you don 't have one, your looking for it. That spot where the burgers are juicy, they ask you how you want them cooked, they have a fry sauce for dipping and they have malts. Malts!!! It 's on Placer, but it 's wedged in between a giant, faceless concrete bunker-like building with no windows, and a bank across the street. It is the life and color of the end of the block. The patio is a canopy over some tables on the sidewalk, a few Christmas lights, a fence, and tons of charm. It 's fresh, made with soul and love, and they care. It 's an independent burger shop with crispy fries and great burgers. If you haven 't been there, your denying yourself a piece of the past, when you could hang a sign saying open and feed hungry workers who are building a dam. Yes. That 's real, from when Shasta Dam was being constructed. Hence the name. There 's no drive thru. It doesn 't run on door dash or an internet ap. It 's an actual burger joint, built by locals, for locals, and it 's delicious. It 's not fancy. It 's real. Check it out."

"One of my favorite places to go for a beer or just to get out. It’s perfect. Great beer selection, food is good, the atmosphere is amazing. It’s never over crowded which I like. There is sports on tv, cool people and a real good hometown feel to it. I go here about once a week. Sometimes not even for a beer but a nice salad, appetizer and the feel good vibes. I love that it is family friendly. When there are kids here they are always behaved kids. I love the games available to play and great service."
