"Absolutely incredible food very kind staff. Flora took incredible care of us. Came here twice in one weekend after we were in town for Small Press Expo, and when we're back in the area, we 100% will come back. Tried both the sushi burrito the poke bowland both were top notch quality for a really good price. The restaurant itself is very pleasant (tons of natural light if youcome during the day) the tables are spaced out nicely so we felt confident and safe eating here."

"Decided to go here for happy hour. I tried the red sangria and the house margarita. The margarita was good but the red sangria just tasted very watered out. The happy hour food was not the at great. We had one of the vegetable flat breads which was very plain tasting where all the flavor was coming from the sauce which was sparingly layered across the flatbread and it just added a sweet taste. We also tried the beef empanadas. The shell was overly crunchy and a little on the hard side where it seemed as though it was overheated or something. The meat inside tasted ok. If you’re just looking to have drinks for happy hour then ok this spot is fine but if you want to eat I would probably may say get drinks and go somewhere else to eat."

"What a fun surprise of a restaurant! It's in the most unassuming area surrounding by industrial type buildings and not noticeable. It's definitely got an old-world Italian restaurant feel. Service was nice and quick enough. The food was surprisingly good. Burrata special and fresh mozzarella and tomatoes were both delicious. The salad with goat cheese was also great. Rigatoni with meatballs was good, and rigatoni with bolognese was phenomenal. The grilled branzino was also excellent. Chianti was a nice choice. The limoncello mascarpone cake was truly something special. Light, moist, perfectly balanced. We highly recommend it! Parking is ok, but limited. Family friendly."

"We were there about 6 weeks ago and I got the prime rib which was melt in your mouth tender fabulous. Was back yesterday and got it again (but the bigger cut) and it was disappointing. It was a huge hit, like 20 oz rather than 16 is, but not tender at all. In fact, prettty tough. But my wife got the trout again and loved it again. It really disappointing when restaurants aren’t consistent."

"Service is 6/5. I recommend so much (this is the PERFECT date night spot). SABI OUR SERVICER WAS LITERALLY SO AMAZING!! She was kind, attentive, and she handled my thousands of questions with professionalism. She gave me such clarity on the menu. I ordered the blueberry martini, my boyfriend ordered the Bombay cocktail as well. Both drinks are a 1 and done. Great drink for $15. We ordered the shrimp for appetizer and it was so FRESH and FLAVORFUL please get it. I ordered the Yellow Crab Curry for my entree, but subbed the crab for shrimp. My boyfriend got the lamb shank and we shared the garlic naan. —— as an Indian food lover, the naan was the best I ever had and my boyfriend truly regretted not getting the Yellow Crab curry because it was delicious. His shank was flavorful as well. I asked for my curry to be spicy and they made it with just the amount of spice. My boyfriend and I live in Temple Hills which is 45 50 mins away but we took a chance and tried this place and I CAN’T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. That’s how good it is. This is my boyfriend’s favorite place now that we went. I love Joyti in Adams Morgan but it’s hard for me to pick a restaurant over the other because Joyti has the Kadai Chicken which I absolutely love but due to parking, Commonwealth Indian is absolutely way more easier to get to with a car. Vegetarian options: So many veggie dishes Dietary restrictions: Can comply with dietary restrictions Parking: There is a parking garage that gives you free parking for under 2 hours. Kid friendliness: Kid friendly restaurant"

"Cava Mezze Rockville offers upscale small-plate versions of Greek dishes. The Saganaki is marvelous. The Grilled Lamb Chops with fries are not to be missed. They are out of this world! The Crispy Chicken Sliders were also shockingly complex and tasty- highly recommend. The prices reflect the upscale dishes, so don't expect to get out without spending some bucks, but it's worth it, in my estimation. We found the Grilled Shrimp and Zucchini Fritters bland. The Brussels Sprouts needed a spritz of lemon and some more salt to brighten up. The atmosphere is my biggest complaint. The restaurant is TINY and they crowd as many tables as they can in this space. It's dark and loud. My dining companion and I had to practically shout to hear each other. Still, I'll return because those lamb chops are THAT GOOD."

"Best place for dry fruits, real yogurts, herbal teas and normal teas, baklavas, Persian frozen foods, special spices, olive oil, olive-based soaps and real saffron. Also affordable vegetable and fruit! If the staff were just a bit more smiling and welcoming... I drive all the way from DC to shop there. I do regret the beautiful restaurant they had before Covid. It had a certain flair. Wish they could bring it back, but i understand the market part is now more profitable as a small supermarket."

"This must be the 20th time we ate at Mykonos. It was a beautiful evening, so we sat outside. When in Greece you eat Greek salad. I never get dressing on my salad. This time, I forgot to ask. The salad was not swimming in dressing. Even for my no dressing, it tasted really good. The special was trout stuffed with either crab meat or feta cheese and spinach. I opted for the spinach feta. I opted right. It was delicious. Mykanos is always, without fail, a great restaurant. I would take guests there comfortably without having to worry they won't like the place. It's a go-to spot when just when the box store restaurant doesn't cut the baklava."

"As Peruvian food lovers, finally getting to La Canela was a treat. The decor is lovely and transportive. We enjoyed cocktails first, and never felt rushed by our server. The amuse bouche was outstanding. I do wish it could be on the menu. The pork rib appetizer was absolutely delicious and almost a meal in itself. The Lomo Saltado with fettuccini was the best I've ever had, and that includes Peruvian food we've had in Central and South American (although not Peru itself unfortunately). Will definitely return and bring friends."

"I recently dined at El Mariachi and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and authentic, with highlights including the fajitas and fried ice cream! The customer service was excellent; the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend El Mariachi for anyone looking to enjoy great Mexican food."

"visit here! Same experience. The hostesses are AWFUL!!! Both the men women alike, as I had to deal with one each, neither was remotely nice. Rude, hasty, before you can be seated, GOD FORBID your entire party isn’t physically in their face (my boyfriend literally was secs behind me parking the car) they tell you sit down wait until they are present. It’s not a request, it’s a command. They won’t even hear your name for your reservation. And rolled their eyes when I started to say he was walking in the doorway. Super unfriendly, unprofessional, bottom line, thank God their server’s food are so great or I’d tell them off leave That said, our server was excellent. They are understaffed, he did his best, apologized a lot for waits/delays in service, but he still did a great job, was super friendly, made it an enjoyable time Food is always excellent, it’s why we went back! Drinks were better our last visit, my sangria was half filled watered down, minimal fruit. Last visit it was perfect, which is why I re-ordered. Our app, meals, desserts were awesome!! Sooo, Im on the fence. I want to go back for more of their menu, the food is worth it maybe the bartender was just a little off, not the end of the world. I just HATE the nasty “greeting”, it’s beyond rude. Particularly the woman working the door tonight. Not even a smile, I’m also a Nj resident…. By us, if you rolled your eyes, the manager would be summoned someone would get fired, just saying"

"This is a really cute little restaurant on Rockville pike. I love the decor. It feels like I am in a popular asian eatery in the village in NYC. The service was very friendly and prompt. The dishes are attractively presented. We ordered the papaya salad which was refreshingly tangy but after a few bites the main taste tone was sweetness which got to be too much. The green curry chicken was delicious. We got it regular spice level which was quite spicy. I am someone who likes spicy foods and usually can tolerate it well but I am not ashamed to say this made me break out in a sweat so beware. We also ordered the beef noodle soup. It is a giant, very large bowl overfilled with large chunks of beef, noodles, bean sprouts and other veggies. It's a hearty meal. There was a lot of meat and it was good but the broth was far too sweet for our taste. It's definitely not for those who are watching their sugar intake."

"it's been a long time since we were in maryland, but that was one of our favorites when we lived in the opposite. it wasn't disappointed. the trout is always more profitable. If I were hypercritical, I would probably suggest that they improve their coffee. after dinner has been our ding and can make a meal or break. because they so much attention to the details of their menu, service and decoration, why not the coffee? After I said all this, I will return and it is up to one of my absolute favorites in the opposite."

"Can't count how many times I've driven by Fontina Grille, but today I finally stopped in to eat. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, with some unusual offerings on the menu, including a Wild Mushroom appetizer, and a Steakhouse Pizza. We also had the crispy calamari and a tasty meatball sub. I'll definitely return. Right now they have tons of covered outdoor seating. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant."

"What can I say about Biryani City that you don't already know? Everything is outstanding. The meat, the vegetables, the bread, the rice, and the desserts—all of it is delicious. The spices are excellent. The Kerala Parotta is a nice addition; it's even better than naan and quite rare to find at takeout places around here. The Gobi 65 and Aloo 65 are spot on and remain crispy even after delivery. The Channa Masala is the only vegetarian dish I've ever bought more than once. I believe this is our twelfth or fifteenth order. You're going to love it!"

"Just ate here because it was down the road from my hotel and I was craving some Indian food. I went in immediately after opening; service was great. I 've read some bad reviews from a few people, and they 're hard to believe. I travel all around the country for work, and eat Indian food all over. This place was great. The food was not too salty , dry , burnt , or any of the other things some people have mentioned. The owner was my server and he was fantastic. Very friendly and very interested in how I liked the dishes I had.I will say the atmosphere feels a bit older and fancier than what I tend to prefer, however there is something charming about going into places like that; I 'm 26. I didn 't feel out of place, or uncomfortable. The menu was certainly written for people less familiar with Indian food, which I imagine would be very helpful for most. I will return again next time I 'm in the area for work."

"This farm-to-table breakfast and brunch chain consistently delivers a fantastic breakfast experience. The menu features a variety of options, including Eggs Benedict, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and daily specials. You’re sure to leave satisfied and full, potentially only needing one meal for the rest of the day. It can get busy depending on when you visit, but the wait is well worth it for a delicious breakfast that surpasses what you might find in G’burg. The staff is welcoming and quick to seat you as soon as a table becomes available."

"I wanted to love it. It's a strong 3.5 for me. We got a shrimp taco, 2 carne asada tacos, steak/asada quesadilla and chips and salsa. The good: 1) They make their chips and tortillas themselves 2) Their chips are thicker, so you can scoop up that homemade salsa and guac easily without breaking them 3) The Shrimp taco was delicious. My favorite of the whole meal. It had a hint of sweetness to it also. The bad: 1) The steak they use for their tacos and quesadillas is grisly. We had many pieces of hard fatty beef we had to spit out. Each taco had at least one piece and the quesadilla has several. Maybe if we tried a different meat, we'd have enjoyed it much more. 2) The blue corn tortillas for the asada tacos were really dry 3) The asada tacos (I ordered the way they come no changes). Were spicy (good) but dry and needed more toppings. Not moist at all, unlike the shrimp ones which were moist and great. 4) The asada quesadilla was flavorful, but again, grisly meat and pretty greasy. So bottom line? LOVED the shrimp taco. Loved their chips and salsa. Wouldn't do anything asada there again. BUT I would consider trying them again with a different meat choice just to update this review. And we want to try the Elote street corn."

"Went for a birthday dinner. The restaurant atmosphere is spectacular, beautiful inside. Do not be fooled by the exterior. Once you walk inside it’s like you’re somewhere else! The staff and service was top notch, we were treated really well and they had extra servers checking on us and getting us water and other things while the main waiter focused on food. The food was delicious, perfect portion sizes. For two, I recommend ordering an appetizer, a pasta dish, and an entree the true Italian way! We didn’t sample the desserts, but we saw what others ordered and it looked delicious. Definitely recommend this place, it’s a true gem of a restaurant. Also, definitely make reservations as it’s a very popular restaurant.
