"We had a really good meal here this week. The meals are very imaginative, with the choice on the menu changing each week, but maybe because it is such a small kitchen, the choice is small. On the evening we went, there was a choice of two starters and three mains. My husband isn't that keen on seafood, and can't bear the thought of eating squid and anchovies, both of which were on the menu, the night we went. Luckily he likes cauliflower cheese, a fancy version of which was the third option. We were disappointed that there was no house wine."

"Nicely arranged restaurant to sit in but the chef treats his guests noticeably different. If you come directly from the beach without throwing on your best clothes don't expect to get a worthy treatment since you will be considered cheap. Appetizer got taken away without a word before we had even finished, secondi piatti were brought without the slightest of a pause. All in all a poor dining experience as the chef made very clear he wants the table free for the next guest. Food was okay, however, too pricey for what it was, it really is more on the surface in this restaurant. We had comparable courses with high quality ingredients and more seasoning for a better price at other places."

"la sintesi: una sorpresa positiva, per l'ottima cucina del pesce. la storia: ci hanno accolti in una domenica in cui il mondo intero sembrava riunirsi: Non abbiamo trovato un posto dove pranzare! qui non solo le ragazze ci hanno trovato un posto, ma l'hanno fatto con gentilezza e cortesia, nonostante fossero così immaginati ben occupati; e per questo meritano una menzione. abbiamo assaggiato alcuni piatti di pesce e abbiamo apprezzato la qualità della cucina. Noi segnaliamo quelli che abbiamo mangiato, ma non dubito che anche il resto è grande: antipasto di gamberetti sul letto di spinaci e un tocco di burrata, grande. Primo: aragoste, molto bene. secondi: ombry filettato grigliato con verdure, che potrebbe sembrare un piatto tranquillo, ma è stato ben fatto e adeguatamente aromatizzato; polpo in salsa di pomodoro, capperi e olive accompagnati da tortino di patate, un piatto delizioso e insolito, almeno per noi. rapporto qualità prezzo adeguato. per la serie nessuno è perfetto: Non ho trovato niente da dire. Torneremo per assaggiare la pizza, ma a giudicare dalle altre recensioni che vedo, anche su quella linea sarà un successo. Naturalmente: consigliato!"

"posto bello e ben arredato situato sulla Aurelia con problemi di parcheggio come per la maggior parte dei ristoranti della zona. il protagonista assoluto è la qualità delle materie prime che si esalta da una cucina attenta senza frell e da un'attenta presentazione dei piatti. su tutto è necessario segnalare le pappardelle al ragout di paglia (complimenti per il puff), la zuppa di polpo, il pesce bollito. Tuttavia, le altre proposte sono anche di buon livello. non molto grande ma interessante la carta del vino. L'unica talpa è rappresentata dal fatto di un solo cameriere nella stanza che ha inciso sui tempi di attesa. peccato."

"Das war okay. wir haben eine Pizza prosciutto e funghi gegessen, Spaghetti bolognese, gegrillter getönter Fisch mit pommes. die Pizza war gut, aber hatte besser darin gegessen. die angebotene “Olio Picante” war eine Schande. der Tintenfisch war in Ordnung, aber wir werden besser zu Hause auf unserem Grill. spaghetti bolognese warten lecker, aber wenig Hackfleisch. zum Dessert haben wir ein Ei und eine Tiramisu gegessen. ist aus der Packung. tiramisu sehr kleine Portion, aber ok. Service bis zu einem Kellner ziemlich unfreundlich und betont. nicht spezielle Plastiktische und Stühle. die Straßenlärm wird deutlich gehört. in allen, leider nur 3 Sterne."

My wife and I decided to get married here, we stayed in this place a year earlier for a dinner and we fell in love with it, for the kitchen, the view, the terraces and the impeccable service. Once we decided to get married we went to talk to the owner Carlo, a person at hand and available for any request that sent us immediately safety, trust and professionalism (difficult to find today day). It didn't take long to convince us to realize the most important day of our lives in this place, immediately enthusiastic about the proposed expectations we start our journey with Carlo, preparations, tastes and knowledge of his collaborators, I guarantee that here the professionalism is of all. We decided to take the entire room for exclusive use, aperitif, dinner and after disk all for us, the result?!? A PERFECT wedding in everything, super happy guests, sazi with the good food proposed and happy, no complaint.. Us? "This family run restaurant is located in a tiny square in the city center of Rosignano Marittimo, from which, in a matter of 15 minutes walking, you can reach the old castle at the top of the hill. Nice pictures from here and great digesting...walk. If you are visiting around Christmas time, make sure to have this walk uphill because locals will celebrate the nativity of Jesus with an historical revival. Perfect choice to have dinner here and then enjoy the warm atmosphere. We had lunches and dinners here in many times of the year and for different occasions. If you're looking for a romantic dinner, Bar Volpe works great, as well as for special occasions or simply for an aperitivo (which is really abundant and tasty) or a dinner with friends. The staff is really friendly, energetic and welcoming. Let Valerio and the waiters suggest you some special dishes that might be available just for a short time. We tried many dishes and it's hard to chose our best. Pizza is really well made with tasty ingredients. Fish is absolutely delicious here, and meat is soft and properly cooked. Everything is homemade, especially with pastas and desserts you'll be greatly satisfied. If you are looking for something simple, they also have huge hamburger alternatives. Make sure you have enough space in your stomach before ordering it! It's our favorite restaurant in the area and it's highly appreciated by locals. IMPORTANT SUGGESTION: It's better to book in advance and during early hours, especially around dinner time. For example: 7pm-8pm is great. When the restaurant is fully packed, don't be surprised if you'll have to wait some extra time to be served. An early booking might help you to be the first to order, and then the first to be served. This is especially true when there are huge groups of people ordering, they might block the kitchen for a while. On the phone, you can also ask if they are expecting big numbers at a certain time, this might help you decide on when to eat. Enjoy your food here!"

"the place is very pleasant and it also lends itself to a couple dinner. the proximity of the railway station does not come true. the service is fast and courteous. I found two plates without bite: the soup of mussels. good with fresh products but too delicate. spaghetti with clams. they were also good, cooked with the tooth, but I would like a pinch of extra flavor. excellent value for money. I will definitely come back and next time I will represent the needs of my palate that prefer more decisive flavors."

"we ate in this restaurant a very, but very good kitchen. We start from the beginning, within the restaurant and I immediately see a nebbiolina accompanied by a strong smell of fried. I ask a table outside but obviously they were all booked. they make us sit in the center room adjacent to the counter, behind which there is a window where the cook, screaming the number of the table delivers the dishes ready to the waiters and as if not enough... next to there is the door of the kitchen completely wide open from where the nauseating smells of fried and those of the kitchen come out. Obviously these smells remain impregnated in the clothes on the following days. the waiters tried to give a sense of professionalism and elegance to the service in contrast to everything else. It would be very little, that would perhaps be the most sought after restaurant of castiglione for really central location, prices in the norm, wine card not seen because asthists, but really top cuisine!"

"Arrivati senza prenotazione di venerdì sera intorno alle 22, non ci sono stati problemi e ci hanno fatto accomodare. Vedendo nel menu scritto soltanto pesante di pesce ed iomangiando solo piatti sera ho chiesto se fosse possibile accontentarmi con un primo e un secondo e loro prontamente mi hanno risposto in maniera affermativa proponendomi più scelte sia per i primi piatti che per i secondi. Tutto buonissimo, cucina espressa sia nei piatti di pesce che nei casi di sera e anche la Pomarola non era semplice sugo di barattolo ma vero e proprio Pomarola fatta in casa, una cosa che almeno per me fa la differenza! Camerieri rapidi e alla mano e conto in linea con la qualità anzi forse anche basso rispetto le aspettative, sicuramente consigliato e da tornarci!"

"great restaurant and food gouty! make 4 stars only because we were served a little slowly, no “tragic” but we waited 40 and more minutes from the time of order to the appetizers. but fine, this delay went on the second floor since the ordered dishes were really good. fried cod balls, really good and delicious, accompanied by a homemade yogurt sauce. bruschette with anchovies: I think the best starter tried in a squid. the cutting of fabulous tuna, certainly of excellent quality, served with fries and delicious mini sandwiches. I recommend coming because you eat well and the price is in line with the quality offered. price example: cut: 17€ antipasto baccalà: 13€ anchovies: 12€"

"Non si può descrivere le sensazioni come il feeling di sentirsi accolti come in questo luogo fantastico... Sembra di essere in una favola ... Specialmente in questo periodo... una favola di Natale ...è come un posto in cui il food è di contorno nonostante sia ottimo. Ho mangiato solo le famose orecchie di elefante che, nonostante la mia resistenza al cibo fritto, erano incredibilmente leggere e gustose. "La location di per sè è molto suggestiva, peccato che i posti sulla spiaggia vista tramonto ad siano veramente pochi. SERVIZIO da rivedere: occorrerebbe più personale e una maggiore organizzazione. I ragazzi sono bravi ma pochi, con tempi di attesa per i secondi relativamente lunghi. Suggerisco inoltre una divisa (t-shirt simile almeno per identificarli . Ma veniamo al CIBO: non si trattava di tonno in salsa di soia ma salsa di soia al tonno (che copriva tutto il sapore del pesce mentre l’orata, purché fresca, non era sfilettata e l’insalata già condita (di solito è il cliente che provvede, per una questione di gusti . Il CONTO non è stato adeguato a quanto offerto (18€ per ciascun secondo di questo tipo è eccessivo . In cassa non ci è nemmeno stato chiesto come fosse stata la cena (altrimenti avremmo specificato tutto ciò . C’è da migliorare parecchio…"

"Veramente una bella scoperta questo ristorante Antico Colle i Poderini a Castelnuovo Misericordia. Menù molto gustoso e appetitoso ad un prezzo onestissimo. Abbiamo iniziato con un abbondantissimo antipasto di terra, non prendetene uno a testa perché non potete farcela a finirlo tutto, poi ottimo trittico composto da gnocchi di ricotta burro e salvia, pici al ragù di lepre e conchiglioni baccalà e pomodorini freschi, per proseguire con medaglioni di maiale vino rosso con salsa di mele coniglio panato e fritto tutto molto sfizioso. Abbiamo finito con buonissimi panna cotta e tiramisù. Da tornarci al più presto, lo consiglio vivamente."
