"Our first visit back to Olive Garden since the pandemic brought a few surprises. First, the menu is much more limited, particularly for vegetarians. On a positive note, the menu now clearly indicates vegetarian options with a "V" symbol. There are also a few dishes that can be made vegetarian by substituting marinara sauce for meat sauce. Secondly, the house salad still consists of iceberg lettuce, and what ended up in our salad bowl largely came from the core, which isn't particularly green. While it tasted fine, I would have preferred healthier greens. Aside from that, our food was quite good. My fettuccine Alfredo had some clumps of noodles and was a little lacking in sauce, but the portion was so generous that I focused on the two-thirds I planned to eat. Our service from Daniel was excellent; he was friendly, helpful, and attentive without being overbearing."
