"What a terrific restaurant to eat at. If google maps had a golden buzzer button I’d push it for Bonnie C’s!!! This is the type of establishment I drive hours to find. 1. Atmosphere and culture here are a delight. 2. Our server Brittany’s description of the dishes were spot on. 3. The service was very very good! 4. Most importantly the food. I had a cup of gumbo, with seafood stuffed chicken topped with a crawfish gravy, It was divine. Also the gumbo was terrific."

"I visited Keith's again today (June 16), and it was just as delicious as ever! The shrimp portions are abundant! My original review still stands—Keith’s is a must for anyone seeking local and fresh food. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the selection and prices are fantastic. Don't just think about going; head straight to Keith's! This has become our go-to spot whenever we travel through the Slidell area. Her overloaded po-boys are absolutely amazing, as are the wings and the seafood platter. And don't forget to try the spicy garlic butter sauce—it's simply delightful!"

"Beautiful location with amazing food and fantastic service. Take the time to sit on the patio and just enjoy the experience. I failed to take good pictures because the food was so good. We started off with the chargrilled oysters that were plump and buttery and delicious. We ordered the special, a 16oz bone-in steak with crab on top and a blue cheese butter. It was fantastic. They also accommodated our request to make broiled Brussels sprouts which were the best I've ever had. Then afterwards as they were closing down, Jorge took the time to show us around the whole place and the expansion, and was very hospitable and excited about some of the updates. This is the definitely the place to be and is only getting better."

"Don't come back. We had a family party tonight. There were so many things. There was a **** that climbed the wall like 2 feet from where we eat. Accompanied by a huge deep hole that awaits a complaint. Formed is the same dish ordered by two persons, one person was torn, the other person got twice the amount of food. The chicken that was ordered by someone at our party was so gracious and terrible. When the owner came and asked how everything was, we told him about these problems, he could be careless. When he told about the ****, he replied to Louisiana?. We're all locals from here. We're not swamp people. If you? restaurant (shown as this) do not expect that crumbs.. and then, when you appeal to the crumbs, the owner lets them go. We all said we wouldn't come back."

"Honestly incredibly disappointing. We have plans to place this food as an order for our business when no one answers the phone. Even after I decided to go to the restaurant and place this order, I could find a restaurant staff until I went to the restaurant to find someone. That's 11:15, 15 minutes after them? You should be open. When I asked if I could give up an order, she said. we will not fulfill to go to orders because we are short employees.? Does that make any sense? Certainly not considering that the place was completely empty. The employee I spoke to was on her phone and not willing to help in any way. She simply refused my order, the only paying customers present, so that they continue to chat from their phone, I think. Unbelievable UNPROFESSIONAL, UNHELPFUL and UNWELCOMING. I never go back."

"From our first meal here, my wife and I have sincerely enjoyed dining at Touch of Italy. Their breakfast and lunch/dinner options are both varied and delicious. The portions you get are nothing to scoff at. The last visit had us enjoying Eggs Sardou and the Shrimp Grits. The grits are flavorful and velvety accompanied by plump fresh shrimp in a hearty gravy/sauce. The Eggs Sardou has a perfectly poached egg with spinach sauce nested on a delicious English muffin and slice of ham accompanied by their grits. Definitely a place to experience regularly! Service slow to take orders, drinks 2pm not that busy. 20% of bill was soft drinks 3.25$ for a cup of ice tea was so watered down I had to ask to be sure it was tea one drink per person. Never came by to offer refills Kid-friendliness: Enjoyed sitting at sushi bar and was served quickly. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"What an amazing restaurant! The food was absolutely fantastic—on par with, or even better than, what you would find in New Orleans. The fried shrimp po' boy was incredible, with more shrimp than sandwich! The stuffed crab and shrimp fettuccine was delightful, and the gumbo was really flavorful. The staff was friendly and welcoming, checking on us multiple times during our meal. The interior was adorned with New Orleans-themed decor and memorabilia, creating a great atmosphere without the noise. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"A great spot! I've tried pho from various restaurants before, but this one really stands out. The prices are also very reasonable. I ordered pork spring rolls, a mango boba smoothie, and the brisket pho, and everything was delicious. The service was excellent as well. The only downside is the ambiance of the restaurant—it's definitely a hole-in-the-wall, and I didn't expect much in that regard. Nonetheless, I had to be objective about it. Overall, it's a fantastic place, and I highly recommend it!"

"It was great having an Elite Experience close to home. Today I took advantage of the Experience and ordered the shrimp florentine quiche and the frozen green tea with almond milk. Surprisingly, the green tea was good. If anyone knkws me knows I'm a green tea fanatic so the taste is very important for me. There was a short wait because something was going on with the register, but other than that the servers were very friendly and all smiles. They gave an extra smile and a little excitement when I said I was there as a Yelp Elite. The restaurant was clean. I was able to sit and observe while my food was being prepared. As mentioned in the email, no one wore mask. The quiche was tasty and had 3 nice size shrimp in it. Plenty of egg for sure. I had the bagel chipz as a side and they had a savory taste. Really good. Thanks for the Experience"

"We came here for my wife's birthday. Everyone was friendly and the place felt very inviting and comfortable. The best item we ordered was the appetizer, which was fried ravioli with lobster bits (a little overpriced). The food was really the main disappointment here. I should have realized this would be the case when I was served instant lemonade. I don't remember exactly what dishes we ordered, but I had some kind of seafood stuffing wrapped in pasta and my wife had a pork tenderloin which was the special that day. None of the flavors really stood out and none of was all that impressive. I couldn't tell what part of my dish was a crawfish, which was lobster, or which was shrimp. Very overpriced. I suppose it would be nice home cooking for some relatives. I don't drink, but I suppose if you're into that Assunta's might be a decent place to have some wine. We were dined here on 08/03/2023"

"Most bland food i have ever eaten, and absolutely the WORST Thai food (I hesitate to besmirch the country by claiming this is Thai)I ordered the #20, the so-called spicy fried rice . The second mentioned ingredient is Thai chilies , they must have given me the experimental invisible and flavorless ones. My fried rice is white! It looks and tastes like plain white rice with some veggies in it. We went back to ask for a packet of chili powder and was warned by the lady of the spicy-ness and she refused to give us a second packet. I will never waste my time or money again with this place. I 'll stick to Thai Zaap in Metairie and I suggest you do the same."

"This place is incredible! The food is amazing, the prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are fair! The restaurant is also very clean and the staff are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The fact that their coleslaw was so fresh really told me all I needed to know. That, and the sweet tea was fresh and you could tell the pitcher for the tea is cleaned daily. I was really impressed with this place and I'm kicking myself for not checking them out sooner! I will definitely be back!"

"We ordered the Friday special, which was a shrimp-stuffed mirliton accompanied by macaroni and cheese and two slices of French bread. We were really looking forward to it, but when it arrived, we found it completely lacking in flavor; it was very bland. The mirliton was only half of what we expected, and there was hardly any shrimp— we had to search for them! The stuffing was more like a topping; there was barely anything actually stuffed inside. The macaroni and cheese was also disappointing, with very little cheese and no taste at all. To make matters worse, the bread was dry and didn't even come with butter! We were extremely disappointed, especially since those two plates cost nearly $33. It felt like a complete waste of money, and I would not recommend this restaurant at all!"

"The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is top-notch. Last week, there was some confusion with our delivery order being mixed up with a DoorDash order. However, the staff quickly rectified the mistake and even though the other order was also delicious, we stuck with our original order. The manager (who we believe is the owner) was very apologetic about the mix-up. We returned tonight and everything was perfect, just as we had hoped for (we have ordered from here about a dozen times before). The atmosphere is cozy and the value for the price is outstanding. Their wings are particularly amazing."

"We are regulars here! Imo best sushi in Slidell and for 16.95 you get a soup, salad, and 3 rolls off the dinner menu! Picture is of 2 Travis rolls and the Shrimp roll! Side of spicy mayo! And of the Miso soup! I can honestly vouch for the Travis roll, it has crab, crawfish, and avocado! "The experience was terrible. We have never had these issues when dining here in the past. It first took a very long time to put in our drink order. We then had completely eaten our appetizers before we were ever asked to place our entree order (it was extremely out of character and caused the food take a very long time to then arrive . Additionally we ordered 2 steak and frites entrees and I ordered a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo. Eventually our dinner was “served”. My wife received a steak and frites meal, but I was being served an entirely different steak dinner (chargrilled steak . After pointing out I was given the wrong meal, the waitress took it back but brought it right back to me, explaining they had a mix up and gave my steak and frites to someone else….. I was then asked can’t you just eat this one and I will give you French fries (this is a totally different steak, totally different sauce, totally different meal… . Seriously that is the way you remedy this issue? In my experience the correct meal is served even if a screw up is made or a refund is made! This was ridiculous in order to not cause a scene I had to eat a steak dinner that was not what I ordered, and was the worst steak I have ever eaten! I only could eat half of it. Just wait there’s more!!!! I also never got my gumbo, until the very end of my meal. Waitress acted like giving me it for free was making up for the terrible service… like really a $9 cup of gumbo makes up for the totally screwed up dinner? I have never experienced this bad of service here or anywhere else for that matter. I cannot believe a manager was not sent to our table after the first mistake of serving me the entirely wrong steak entree, but after my gumbo never came out you would expect management to come speak and make up for the terrible experience. After tonight it will be very difficult to ever want to eat at Palmettos again."
