"Unglaublich lecker! (Absolutely delicious) After coming back from Germany, I really craved doeners like nobody's business only to find out that a new place was opening in Statesboro that served them. They did not disappoint! Everything I've had there is fantastic, and makes for great (and fairly healthy) comfort food, especially when you don't have time to cook. Great for a college student's budget, and indescribably tasty. The atmosphere is also really casual and friendly. I'd recommend to anyone who likes eating yummy food for a good price."

"The positives: The restaurant has a stunning design with a well-organized dining area, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We enjoyed the food (both of us had the Cajun ribeye), and the drink selection was excellent! However, there were a few issues. We chose to sit at the bar and noticed three open chairs. Although they were spaced apart, it seemed like two were being saved for friends. The third chair was taken up by a dirty backpack."

"My first time coming here was March 27, 2022 @10pm to dine in. There were sooo many people. I ordered a fried shrimp wrap with fries. The wrap was small tightly wrap with very little fries but I assume that was due to the fact they were doing last calls because the kitchen was closing. It was surprisingly good. March 28, 2022 @3-4pm I decided to place an order for pick up. I ordered the shrimp wrap with seasoned fries again but with spinach dip this time. The wrap was larger this time with more fries. I thought oh nice but every thing was greasy...It was not good like it was last night. It was disappointing and sickening."

"I’ve been in town for the last couple of days and was hoping to order gyros for the entire staff. Everyone decided on what we wanted, but when we called to place the order, no one picked up. We assumed they were just busy, so we decided to go there in person to order instead. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the restaurant was closed, and I couldn't find any sign on the door to explain why. We spent an hour trying to figure out why no one was answering the phone, only to discover they weren’t even open. Now, almost two hours later, we're forced to order pizza instead, and let's just say, the staff isn’t thrilled about it. Overall, I’d rate the food experience a 1 out of 5."

"My husband and I had a long day at work and decided to stop by Panera for a bite to eat. As soon as we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, engaging us in conversation while smiling and assisting with our order. The menu looked fantastic and the restaurant was spotless. The cashier was wonderful, and the management and kitchen staff were equally friendly and working hard. It's rare to find such pleasant and welcoming service these days. I'm really pleased with our experience and will definitely be back. I don’t remember the names of the employees who helped us tonight, but it was 12/27/21 around 8 PM. Thank you, everyone!"

"We came in for lunch, had a salad and a curry. The curry was unlike any curry I've ever had, the curry sauce was more like a broth; I missed the coconut in it. I had ordered the red curry with pineapple, and it tasted as if they had poured some of the canned pineapple syrup in the sauce. It was definitely not my favorite. The tofu in it was good though and the veggies were OK. My husband had the green curry, it was tasty but a bit thin. The salads were OK but a bit overpriced for what you get. Service was good though and they were very friendly. It was very cold inside, and I had to wear a cardigan to be comfortable in there. Forgot to take pictures."

"I arrived today at 1:45 PM, and the woman at the front counter completely ignored me for a while, telling me it would be a minute because they were busy with orders. She kept complaining about the cooks putting the food in the wrong place, which was causing confusion. After waiting for 10 minutes without having my order taken, I decided to leave. I took the picture attached as I was leaving; that truck was the last in the drive-thru line because of the chaos. I ended up going to Wendy's, where I was seated and served my food in just 7 minutes."

"The food was good tasting but the half chicken portion is small ???? my chickens that I buy for home is somehow much larger. The meat didn't need the BBQ sauce, it was fine alone. The sauces weren't any special. If I had to pick a fav, it would be theoriginal or hot. Everything was just standard that I could make at home so I won't be back but worth it if you don't cook ordon't want to. The Texas toast was chemical white bread so I didn't eat it. The peach cobbler is made with canned peaches????????????????????????.. again could make a better at home. It was $24 for the two meat and a dessert. Normal prices, but notworth it if you can cook yourself. Didn't suck but wasn't amazing."

"Beautifully decorated! As a lover of flowers, I was really impressed by the size of the orchids that are placed all through the restaurant. They have an impressive menu, from appetizers, soup/salad, lots of sushi choices, to hibachi, pho, and desserts. The salad that came with my hibachi was much larger than I expected, which is great if you love the ginger dressing like I do. It was a little sweeter than I am used to, but still very good. Portions in general are very generous and the food is priced very fairly. They were busy, and our food took longer than usual, but it was all hot and fresh. I'd definitely return to try the pho next time."

"After moving my twin sons into their college dorm, we decided to eat at this restaurant. We had previously tried another popular spot for lunch and it was terrible, so we were hopeful that this place would be better - and it certainly lived up to our expectations. There were six of us dining and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was just as good as the food I had at the beach last month! Our table ordered a variety of dishes, including fried and broiled shrimp, scallops, and fish, all of which were delicious. The baked potato was cooked perfectly and the coleslaw was also tasty. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous. We will definitely be returning on future visits to see our sons. I'm so happy we discovered this restaurant!"

"We were visiting the doctors far away. The service great and food was nice usually both sucks. The menu prices were not what was listed good thing I had the money to pay it. Eighty bucks not including tax and tip I gave her nice tip. She doesn't make the prices. Upcharged us like ten dollars charge us for each topping it listed a different price. Oddly did not. Harve me for my small veggie pizza. This was crazy it cost of something. I won't be going ever again! Paying eighty dollars for a cheese pizza pepperoni pizza was crazy! Unique liquors and infusions (house made kiwi-mint purée, pineapplechili syrup, fresh hand-whipped cream, etc. being used for the cocktails. And reasonably priced. Happy hour cocktails are just$6 daily from 4-7 PM, and all day Sunday! That?s insane! Settle down, let?s talk about food: I cook and do mixology at home, andhave tried Indian food in US, Trinidad, many parts of India, England, Germany, and T&T has the second best butter garlic naan Ihave ever tasted. Shut up and sit down! The lamb korma was absolutely wonderful. The lamb was tender, the sauce well-balanced,not too mild, not too spicy. I wish I could have three stomachs to eat more dishes. It seems the chefs are from Punjab, and itshows. Best money spent in a University town. Sadly, they are closed on Mondays, so check yourself for availability."

"In tribute to the family's Greek roots, the menu features dishes such as Spanakopita, Greek shrimp, and Hellenic chicken, alongside appetizers like grape leaves, stuffed peppers, and Greek salad. Though the menu isn’t extensive, the flavors are impressive. Tonight, I inquired if any specials were available and was thrilled to learn they were serving moussaka. This delightful and hearty dish typically includes layers of eggplant, potatoes, a rich sauce, and seasoned ground beef. Naturally, I couldn't resist and ordered the moussaka as my entrée, paired with a house salad. The house salad has always been a favorite of mine; it's simple yet delicious, especially with their legendary house-made dressing. The moussaka was rich and flavorful, and the portion size was generous—almost too much for me to finish! Accompanied by garlic bread, it made for an excellent meal. For dessert, I chose the baklava, which was truly magnificent and just as wonderful as I remembered it from years past. While I didn’t order pizza on this visit, the pizzas at Holiday Pizza are distinctly Hellenic, making them a delightful departure from the usual offerings found at most restaurants. The prices are very reasonable, and the service was outstanding. In college towns, restaurants come and go, often overshadowed by chains, but Holiday Pizza has stood the test of time in Statesboro.
