"A good place for seafood lovers. We ordered the classic fish and chips with the sockeye salmon salad. The taste was a little sweet, which is aligned with American preference.The green mix of the salad was not appropriately cleaned. When the problem was told to the waitress, she kindly reflected our concern to the kitchen and offered to replace the dish. I had most of my food and they didn't charge us for the salad. Great service overall."

"The restaurant has a fantastic variety of beers and the service is top-notch. However, I would not recommend ordering the poke nachos. The dish lacked flavor, with a sauce that tasted like a combination of mayonnaise and sriracha. While the ingredients appeared to be fresh, there was no discernible poke flavor aside from the tuna. I had to add salt and pepper to bring out any taste. Overall, the dish was poorly assembled and not worth the cost."

"This place is a very nice little gem in the town of Stevenson. After a 3 hour hike at Dog Mountain we pulled up here and they were starting to close but re-opened for us. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and it was a great warm pick me up after a wet hike. The girls that work here are the sweetest and they were very kind and attentive. If you're ever out this way you won't regret getting a hot or cold espresso from this drive thru! Will be back there next time I hike Dog Mountain. ?"

"I was looking forward to the Christmas Buffet after many years, but was disappointed with the experience. The food was barely warm, with uncooked root vegetables and flavorless dishes that needed salt and pepper. The dessert table offered store-bought pies, dry pecans, and chemical-tasting macaroons. The decorations were minimal and the overall experience was lacking in holiday spirit. The price was reasonable at $60, but I believe they should charge more to improve the quality of the food, hire more staff, and enhance the holiday atmosphere. The total bill for three of us came to $290, including wine, before tax and tip. Parking was difficult for disabled individuals as there was no valet service available. Overall, I believe there is room for improvement in various aspects of the buffet."

"I wish I had discovered this place sooner! As a local in Stevenson, I now have a new favorite spot. Plus, Big River Bar & Grill is more friendly, tastier, and has a more open and airy atmosphere compared to other old-fashioned restaurants in the Pacific Northwest. I have enjoyed everything I have tried here so far, especially the delicious burgers. My partner, who is a fan of seasonal dishes, was impressed as well."

"The Tex-Mex food at this restaurant was delicious and satisfying. However, it was marred by the presence of a group of racist individuals waiting outside the door, who gave us a hostile and unwelcoming experience. Be cautious when visiting this establishment. The average price per person is $20-30. The food and service were exceptional, both receiving a rating of 5 out of 5. However, the atmosphere suffered due to the unpleasant encounter, receiving a rating of 1."

"Went in for our anniversary dinner on early Sunday evening as we were staying close by and it was recommended. We ordered some appetizers, steaks, and drinks. First the good the wings and poutine were excellent and came out pretty quickly would definitely order both again. Now the not so great parts, service for us was very inconsistent the waitress let us seat ourselves and said she would follow with water and menus we never did get the water, we asked to sit on the patio which most groups were doing it was a bit cold but they had space heaters, well they never turned on any of the space heaters near wear we were seated we also never received any refills or ask if we wanted any additional drinks for the things we did order. When it came time to pay we had to track down the waitress who was inside sitting with a group at the bar and she said oh I thought I already ran your card. Finally and probably the reason for such a low review were the steaks themselves both rib eyes were charred so badly that it was hard to eat. The internal cook on mine was correct but my wife’s steak was half medium rare and the other half well done. They were also very bland with barely any seasoning. For the price it was the most disappointing steak I’ve ever had. I wish I could recommend this place because the view was amazing and the apps were fantastic but unfortunately the service seemed bored and upset that we were there and the entrees were burnt and cooked poorly."

"I visited this restaurant on a Sunday after a long hike. I ordered 2 pizzas and was informed by the waitress that there would be a 40-minute wait, which I agreed to. However, after waiting for an hour and a half, I went up to ask about my order and was told it would be out in 5 minutes. When the pizzas finally arrived, one of them was cold and the cheese had solidified. I asked for it to be reheated, but the server seemed annoyed. I decided to ask for a refund as my experience had been frustrating and disappointing. The waitress reluctantly gave us a refund and seemed to think I was being unreasonable. Overall, the service was poor and the wait time was unacceptable. This restaurant needs to improve its service and quality of food."

"This room was purchased for us as a Christmas gift. The resort atmosphere itself was quite nice. Our room was pretty standard with a king bed, a couch and fireplace. We had as nice a view of the river as you could expect from a first floor room. However, when I received a copy of the bill when we checked out I was agasp. I had expected the bill based on the room we had to be about $200 considering this was a resort. I was amazed to find out the cost of the room to be $390. I would have expected much more than a standard room particularly on the bottom floor and for that price. It was explained to me that maybe because we had a service dog we weren't provided one of the nicer rooms on the upper floors. If that were the case the purchaser should have been told. In addition I looked up the costs for those rooms in the month of May they averaged much closer to the $200 to $250s. They were not willing to make an adjustment. I would suggest you ask the right questions before booking a room there. On the other hand the wait staff in the restaurant were great!"

"My husband, kids, and I had dinner here. The restaurant was decorated like a log cabin with the exception of the floors. This was our first time eating at the Cooper Top Restaurant, we were not disappointed. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with tater tots. My kids had chicken strips and tater tots. I had the BBQ stuffed baked potato and pinto beans.My husband said his pulled pork sandwich was good, but he couldn’t taste smoke flavor. He also said that the pulled pork was moist. My husband enjoyed the tater tots because they were very crispy and crunchy. Our boys also liked their tater tots. One of our boys was not a fan of the chicken strips because he didn’t like the breading. My husband had a chicken strip and said that the breading was really good and that the breading was thin. He said the breading consistency reminded him of beer batter.I ordered the BBQ stuffed baked potato with bacon. The baked potato was stuffed with pulled pork, butter, cheese, sour cream, and bacon bits. I try polled pork stuffed baked potatoes at every restaurant that offers them. This one was excellent! The pulled pork was moist and paired well with the rest of the ingredients. I couldn’t taste any smoke flavor in the pulled pork though. We weren’t sure if it was supposed to be smoked or not.My husband and I agreed that we would eat there again. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The log cabin like touches were very cool. I would recommend this restaurant to others."

"If you are seeking vegan cuisine in Stevenson, search no further! This establishment is incredibly tasty, exceptionally welcoming, and highly considerate of cross-contamination concerns. They offer a variety of vegan dishes on the menu (clearly marked), as well as numerous customizable choices. When I received my order, they even included a homemade vegan sour cream that was amazingly delicious. I cannot praise this place highly enough."

"Pizza was great the 1st night but needed to be cooked longer. Friends had it tonight and also said it needed to be cooked longer but otherwise great. Burger beer $20 special was not so great. Beer was awesome but burger was average at best.The only reason I gave service 4 stars was because they were obviously understaffed the 2nd night The server did her best with tons of tables but had a hard time getting back to us. The 1st night we were there I had a new server who was being trained still but was on her own for the 1st time and she did great."

"I absolutely adore this place! My family stumbled upon it while staying at Skamania Lodge, and we have since discovered that it is a fantastic pit stop for coffee and snacks during our road trips on Highway 14. As someone who is gluten-free, I am thrilled to find that they offer delicious savory baked goods for me, as well as for our gluten-eating friends. The chicken pot pies and tarts are mouthwatering, and the best part is that they are both gluten-free! They come from a local bakery that I definitely plan on visiting in the future. After browsing the coffee bean room, which also features a fascinating collection of curiosities, I ended up purchasing a bag of beans and even found a tiny Bigfoot sculpture that I wished I could take home. For those driving along Highway 14 in need of a strong cup of coffee, a variety of tasty treats, and perhaps even some Instagram-worthy shots, simply pull into the parking lot and follow the Bigfoot footprints to the entrance! While there is no restroom available at the front of the location, only a porta-potty, this charming spot in the heart of the city is not to be missed."

"I had a fantastic experience at the food trucks set up in the city! I stopped by Stevenson and decided to try some tacos and birria (sorry, no pictures of that!). The rice and beans were delicious, and the tacos were excellent. I tried both the red and green salsa, and they really enhanced the flavor of the tacos, giving them the kick I love. The service was great; the young team running the place was friendly, which is always a plus. They even have a few shaded tables for customers to enjoy their meals. I’ll definitely be coming back!"
