"I was seated fairly quickly; if you arrive around 11 am, you should have no trouble getting a table inside or outside. The menu features a variety of straightforward options like salads and sandwiches. On my first visit, I tried one of the turkey sandwiches, which our waitress highly recommended (see the photo below). I had to step outside to take a call and when I returned, I was greeted by a towering sandwich that was practically the same height as my pint glass! It was absolutely packed with meat. I couldn't finish it all in one sitting, so I took half home and could barely close the takeout box.
On my second visit, I opted for the crab grilled cheese to-go (also pictured). It had more crab than cheese, but it was simply amazing! Just a heads up, though: don't try to eat it while driving, like I did—it’s messy!
The prices are quite reasonable, although some might think a sandwich with fries is on the expensive side. That said, the portions are generous enough for sharing or could easily serve as two meals. I was also impressed by the freshness and quality of the food, which makes it worth every penny. With Sutter Creek and Cavana's just an hour’s drive from downtown Sacramento, it’s a perfect little spot for a lunch (or dinner—I've heard their drinks are great too)!"
