"This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I went in to order some food to go. The restaurant was empty when I arrived. I looked at the menu and decided what I wanted to order. When I went up to the counter to place my order, a white gentleman walked in behind me. The person working at the counter immediately engaged with the gentleman behind me, asking if he had come to pick up an order. Although I was already at the counter ready to place my order, the worker served the man behind me first. Feeling discriminated against, I decided to leave. I had never experienced this kind of treatment at a Thai restaurant before, and I was disappointed. I had heard great things about the food at this restaurant and was planning to spend money there, but I will not be returning. It is unacceptable for any form of racism to exist in a restaurant serving Thai cuisine."

"Although King Of Gyros establishment appeared clean, it lacked the expected shine that enhances a dining experience. The effort put forth by the staff seemed to be only at about 50%, despite my mentioning that I often leave reviews for the places I visit. Regrettably, the chicken shawarma I ordered was made with very dry, possibly day-old seasoned chicken, which was quite disappointing. There also appeared to be a lack of understanding or distinction between Greek, Turkish, and Egyptian cuisine among the staff, which may have affected the quality of the dishes served. Additionally, the overall atmosphere felt lackluster, with a noticeable absence of enthusiasm from the employees. Furthermore, the dryness of the chicken was a significant issue, and it's worth mentioning that I was unsure if their tzatziki sauce contained garlic, which is a crucial ingredient in traditional tzatziki and could impact the overall flavor of the dish. I genuinely hope that on my next visit, King Of Gyros will step up their game and address these concerns. Despite this experience, I typically give a place a second chance, and I am optimistic that they will consider this feedback and strive to enhance their food quality, service, and overall dining experience for future guests."

"Fun little vegan spot to checkout. Everything from tacos, “wings”, burgers, sandwiches, burgers, soft serve!!! They also havr some tasty treats along with coffee, juices, booze. I recommend their burgers and the Buffalo wings with their thyme fries. Wide variety of indoor seating and covered patio seats with umbrellas."

"This was my 1st time at a McAlisters and I was McWowed! I had the New Southwest Steak spud with mac cheese, cucumber salad, broccoli c heddar soup, large signature ice tea last but not least NY double chocolate cheesecake. The spud entree was top five I ever had with alot of succulent steak slices, cheddar cheese sour scream and the potato was huge-enough food for a whole day and only $12 is a great value. The mac cheese was perfect-thick, creamy delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was also a top five ever item for me! The NY double choc. cheesecake was rich, dense and super delicious. It satisfied my regular chocolate craving. Service by Manager Hector, counter staff Tara Ryan was top 1% at any restaurant I've patronized. This restaurant is run extremely well! The dining area is large, very clean with a pleasant upbeat ambience. This is the best deli restaurant I've been to in Tempe and top five in Arizona."

"Don't waste your money here, you've been warned. I used to enjoy eating here, but I give up on feeling duped out of our hard earned money. Spent $50 for a teriyaki chicken bowl with comically small portions and the food that was served was far from fresh (strange looking old/dehydrated sweet potatoes, unripe hard avocado, old limp carrots that were still hard/undercooked , and everything else we ordered was either inedible or severely lacking in ingredients that its supposed to come with...our 2 chx and kale wraps had chicken, a slice of tomato, a tiny piece of kale, no dressing and 2 little shreds of cheese. On top of that the chicken (basically the only ingredient they put in the wrap, looked undercooked on spots, pink tint . I'm not exaggerating. It was so sad. And the sides we ordered for the kids, sweet potatoes (looked like week old, dehydrated, with mostly little shreds of sweet potato skins...what?? And the quinoa had sugar snap peas that were very pale green, not fresh AT ALL. I couldn't even let my kids eat it for fear of them getting sick. We left feeling hungry still, and regretting the food that we did consume, and out of $50. Chop Shop is not what they used to be. Come here at your own risk."

"Not a place I would recommend for sushi in Tempe. The restaurant is worn down from rips in the seat to wobbly tables. Came in for lunch on a work day, there were 5 other people in the restaurant, the wait time was about 20 mins from the time we sat to the time we ordered drinks. The water is clearly undrinkable and has a chemical smell. My friend had to send her iced tea back due to it being made with the bad water. We ordered 1 roll each and after 2 bites stopped due to the fish tasting not fresh."

"The food at this restaurant was excellent! Even though I accidentally ordered for the wrong time online, they were able to quickly prepare my order when I arrived. The service was prompt and the flavors were fantastic!"

"girls night out and it was super! reservations ran 20 minutes from timetable due to the restaurant weekend crowd. we spent time in the bar and the wine was worth the wait. once on our server, shelby, was incredible! eating was fast and suitable for the hard? my steak was well made for my request. were divine! but one of my galpalms had a boiled steak filet (it looked like a hockey puck.) lol! she had ordered me well and it was dry. shelby's attention was taken to herself, told the cook, took the partly eaten plate (she also had lobster ****,) and they brought her a completely new plate. including the ?!!! at the end of the evening when we enjoyed all cheesecakes. have they enjoyed their meal? talk about getting blown away! Anyway, shelby was the cost of what the meal together with the usual tips was tipped out of the rest of our dining room party. will definitely go again! oh and the cook brought the supper to our table and all our desserts"

"We love going to Cornish Pasty. This was our first time at this particular location. No seats available inside at the time we were there so we opted to sit outside. The outdoor heater wasn 't working so it made it a not so pleasant dinner with our family who were visiting from out of town! One of the servers was possibly having a not so great evening! We ordered deserts and he came out and literally asked who ordered chocolate bread and butter pudding not stopping and before we could even say anything, he mumbled no one and went back inside! Our server asked if we received our desserts and we told him no, the other server came back out and said that we didn 't answer! It doesn 't matter at this point, we still got our delicious desserts! We still love The Cornish Pasty, hence the four stars for service instead of giving it less than! We probably wouldn 't visit this location since it is smaller than the one we normally go to, but still a great place for a visit!"

Love the fresh pineapple taste and tropical flavor, one of the best cocktails! ? steak, the steak is very good, nice quality beef, tender juicy taste, they even cut the steak into pieces for you, very nice and convenient to eat! ? salmon, the dish is a little bit small, but the flavor is very good. The source is just amazing. Cool environment with huge space, pretty nights. Nice service, a good place to go hang out with friends!"

"We noticed that Richard Blais had collaborated on some street tacos, so we decided to give them a try. They looked fantastic in the pictures, but unfortunately, they didn’t live up to our expectations in person. I chose the chicken and pork tacos, while my husband opted for all three varieties, including the shrimp. The tortillas were too small and lacked the necessary stability. The flavors were bland, and there wasn’t enough sauce to enhance the taste. While they were edible, they weren’t what we had hoped for. Regarding the restaurant itself, cleanliness was a concern; the tables were sticky and not well-maintained, and the soda area was also pretty sticky."

"This was a suggestion for date night of my husband’s. We have decided to start looking outside our comfort zone at home and he found this awesome gem. There is an entire section of the menu dedicated to vegan food and an entire vegan variety plate. It’s nice to be able to order without modifying or having to explain our dietary restrictions. The food was flavorful, well spiced, and all visually interesting and different. We tend to enjoy eating a wide variety of foods with varying colors. This totally fit the bill! I would recommend if you’re looking for an interesting experience in Tempe! The place was pretty packed with regulars, so you know it’s good!"

"I have the DOWNTOWN dog, which is covered with caramelized wobble, paprika, mayo, senf ketchup. it comes to 3 Hawaiian type of rolling that are roasted to perfection. the hotdog was a decent size and honest quite full. overall, this was one of the most tasteful hot dogs I ever had! the wobble rings were the perfect amount of crispy, but could have used some salt peppers, the sweet potato friries are also a must! also the service was amazing, everyone I was in contact with was so beautiful"

"If you're looking for a quick meal with solid flavors in the Asian food arena, Tokyo Stop is a great choice! They have a good variety of standards available like Kung poa chicken, sweet and sour etc but my favorite is the teriyaki bowl. Be careful when ordering this one, it doesnt automatically come with vegetables, only chicken. Its SO much better with the vegetables! So, try to make sure and order them. I have been eating at the Tempe location on Priest and University Dr., SE corner by Dunkin Donuts and an Asian Market, since 1997! I went on my first lunch date there with my now BFF. I was impressed with the selection of fresh ingredients and how fast and friendly they are. It's nothing fancy, just good food for a reasonable price in a great location! If you're craving Japanese fast food, check out the Tokyo stop! They don't disappoint!"

"You know the Pizza is going to be delicious when the owner has an Italian accent! This is by far the best Pizza in town! If you love a good New York slice, then this is where you will get it. Most pizza in Arizona is thicker, which is OK but I am a fan of the New York slice and they do it right here at clockwork pizza! If you are in the area, this is a must to stop by. I would even recommend people to drive across town to get a pie from here. It’s absolutely amazing. The ingredients are fresh and not to mention the garlic knots are to die for! Bravo to the chef and the familia at Clockwork Pizza! My new go to for my pizza fix!"

"This was a great find! Having traveled and lived in Europe for 20-30 years… these sandwiches were so fresh and tasty and very enjoyable … we could not believe we were still in Arizona. Seriously!! The staff was warm and friendly This was our first visit and ordered the Smokey turkey and the tuna melt. We both enjoyed every bite. Every single bit was filled with flavor and enjoyed til we finished. The fresh bread just brought us back to our local baker in a small town outside of Rome… but more so was the pride that every person takes in this deli…. The smile on the face of the person slicing the fresh bread… the person who took our order and the person who prepared our sandwich. Each one we had eye contact with as they had such pride in a well made product … we found ourselves talking about this lunch once again at 11pm. This was such a good find!!"

"The lamb and chicken mandi are outstanding! I was in Phoenix for a few days and stumbled upon this place on Google, which led me to visit a couple of times. I tried the lamb and chicken mandi, along with some type of kebab, and they were all excellent—especially the mandi! The portions are quite generous as well. On my last night in Phoenix, I ended up ordering four takeout meals to take back to LA. While it may not be the fanciest restaurant, the food is truly exceptional. Plus, it’s halal!"

Order at the counter; sit down for efficient table service.Tonight I ordered a delivery with a falafel pita. Are you resigned to small, burnt falafel patties with the consistency and taste of a brick? Wessen's falafel will delight you! Generous portions with a tender, golden-brown crust, and a beautiful bright green interior. This is a tasty wrap with vivid colors from red onion, fresh cucumber slices, lettuce, tomato, and smooth, creamy tahini. I am making it disappear as I write this review.The lentil soup is also delectable. I love their tzatziki. Everything fresh, and as Mediterranean as can be!"

Casa Reynoso is located in the corner of a strip mall, but you quickly leave that setting once you open the doors and walk in. It's a family restaurant, where the entire family works from the hostess, bartender, servers, cooks. And that's the beauty of this place, you feel like you're eating dinner with family, enjoying passed down secret recipes. The tortillas were Amazing! Same with the beans, and the food, oh my goodness... Best way to describe it is that not one person in are party of eight was disappointed. Everyone raved about their dishes and said they would bring back their significant others to try it. If you like authentic Mexican food, give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed."
