"We have been looking forward to trying this restaurant for some time. We went for a late lunch and we were the only patrons there. The waitress gave us a choice of tables next to a partition which was strange but fine. Our waitress was very nice and very familiar with the menu and helpful with suggestions. We got the shrimp moqueca and the white bass moqueca as our entrees and the squash soup and fried yucca for apps. The soup and yucca were amazing, the moqueca was good but without the Malagueta oil, it would have been just okay. The caipirinha's were perfect. All of this being said, we found the experience expensive for lunch but once in awhile a splurge worth taking. We would have given 4 stars if the family that runs the rest. wasn't sitting right behind the partition with two toddlers that screamed and cried thru our meal. At times we couldn't even hear ourselves talk. For that experience we can go to McDonalds."

"Fair ice cream before, Bland Food, terrible service. I sat here for dinner with my two girls and ordered a sandwich that said it was on roasted French bread. I was surprised to notice that it was on exactly the same bread as my children grilled cheese sandwich; I asked a server about it. The server didn't come back and finally I was told I was taking a break. Sometime and unfortunately I came with Zach, the manager who told me that my sandwich was indeed French bread. I asked him if it was then possible to get a children grilled cheese sandwich NOT in French bread. Zach became quite liquid. This was my first time eating here and I was disappointed, no it's just because of the possibly bad labelling, but bc was cold and bland. So I wanted to order ice cream for two small children (stand right behind me giggling) At this point Zach tells me that they will not serve us any ice cream. I initially assumed that they compose us our ice cream, but to my unbelief Zach the manager (or Mad Zach, as my children called him when we left without our ice cream) seriously told us that they would not serve us ice cream because I harassed the staff. Me and my children. I had only interacted with other employees to ask for an additional record that I had to go back and ask for later, the promised game has never arrived, I did not comment. Maybe Zach's game was thrown away from me so that the same bread on the kids grilled cheese sandwich as on my roasted French bread that he believed that I was shaking staff (which with my giggling children next to me)! Wow. It takes a manager with a lot of cajones to tell her father and two little girls that they are not served ice cream. He seemed confident that his owner Scott would stand behind him. I live near, I won't go back. We went to good old Baskin Robbins and had amazing ice cream! Two stars instead of one because the staff was dressed appropriately."

"You definitely don’t want to skip the Crispy Yuca Fries as a side—they're a must! And let’s not forget the Alfajores. Oh my goodness, I can barely describe how divine these homemade caramel-filled shortbread cookies are. Dusted with powdered sugar, they simply melt in your mouth. They might just be one of the best treats I've ever tasted, ranking among my top ten desserts in Ventura County. You absolutely cannot miss this place!"

"It was our first time here and overall we were happy with our experience. It was very tasty! Prices were a bit high. Staff was very friendly. Meatball sub could've used a little more sauce. Cheese pizza is the closest to New York pizza I've had in T.O. or Moorpark. Presentation was good. We won't be weekly customers but feel it'll be worth a visit every 2-3 months."

"I am consistently impressed with the IMPOSSIBLE HAUS BURRITO! It is cooked to perfection every single time and served warm, featuring just the right amount of crunch from the delicious tots and a beautifully golden-brown tortilla wrap. The eggs are also spot on, and there's plenty of cheese. This is definitely a generous burrito! It's never wet, soggy, or greasy. I've ordered it ten times now, and I’ve always been extremely satisfied. They’ve definitely won me over as a regular customer!"

"In a uber eats driver and supplies a lot from this restaurant recently I got a free drink to try when I deliver was so grateful that I did not have a drink for me in the car this day. The staff gave me an absolutely delicious drink, Basil Lemonade They either love it or don't like it. My family doesn't like it, but his new favorite drink. I recently went back to buy some!!! I have basil lemonade, cucumber salad. The cucumber salad is INCREDIBLE, I love the vinaigrette that implies that his light vinaigrette hehehehehehehehehehehehe not, but also in love with this dish. Next try sick, there thai garden salad that comes with a peanut sauce. I'll return weekly. The service is amazing and the energy of the employees is very friendly. I also gave ANOTHER FREE DRINK, I need to try the thai tea that in drinking right now you can add your drinks in your refrigerator for days, still delicious. and OMG i love love love the thai tea and I had no idea but you can add boboa to your drink for $1. Only the best experience. Can wait to try more on the menu. Thank you!!!!"

"I usually get the power veggie salad with chicken added here but decided to get a sandwich this time. The salads are nice and filling but a little lacking in chicken considering I pay extra for it. I expected I would get two full loaves of bread in mysandwich but it 's one loaf of bread cut in half to make a sandwich so their sandwiches are really half sandwiches. The bread isdelicious and VERY filling. I think... the highlight of the meal. All in all pretty good for the price. However, I think Iprefer the salads and add on extra bread if you must have it. It 's the more guiltless option. Again, I just wish they 'dincreased the protein portion, if you pay for it as an add on. At nearly $4 more to add on a protein, more than 2 ounces wouldbe nice. I 'm not sure how much they put on it but, again, it seems lacking a bit. Love this place. It 's a great healthy option,if you keep the bread consumption in check, but there 's always that little voice in my head that says I hope get a little morechicken this time."

"Vegetarian Review Came here about 3 years ago. Had their pho. Good, but not enough to prompt a review. Today, while looking for vegetarian friendly places, this once again popped up. Looking at the menu, they had a lot more vegetarian options than I remembered. Sandwich 6 Bahn Mi Grilled Tofu $7.25, Grade A) Marinated tofu in a soft French roll. This bahn mi is tightly wrapped with all the usual fixins. Not too pickly and just enough jalapeño slices to give it that nice spice. I would order again. Shaken Tofu $10.25, Grade A) Fried marinated tofu with garlic, white onion and spices. Topped with scallions and cilantro served with Jasmine rice. The tofu was actually juicy. Great flavor. Recommended. Bottom line: Fast and friendly service. Food is flavorful and hot. When I'm in town, Love Pho definitely can satisfy my bahn mi cravings. Final note if SoCal folks are in NoCal, check out Huong Lan in South Sacramento. They are still the high bar for Bahn Mi. They offer vegetarian BBQ Bahn Mi ... nuf said."

"This café is a delight for me. Everything is gluten-free and vegan, and incredibly tasty. Every dish I've sampled has been flavorful. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and satisfying. It's always bustling, and you might even catch a glimpse of a celebrity or two. They recently changed their hours and now close at 5pm daily, which is a bit disappointing but understandable. Some of my favorite dishes so far are the pizzas (with a GF vegan crust from SunOven Gluten-free Baking Company, which is the best GF crust I've ever had), the Caesar salad, and the watermelon poke bowl. I was unsure if I would like the poke bowl but it was amazing. I could eat it every time I visit. My husband, who typically enjoys meat, also enjoyed his curry breakfast scramble. The coffee drinks and desserts at the coffee bar are also outstanding. You really can't go wrong here. If you're looking for healthy, tasty food filled with flavor, love, and joy, this is the place to go. Plus, the hallway leading to the bathrooms is top-notch."

"The food can be quite bland, and the prices can quickly feel overwhelming. Just two basic bowls and a drink can easily total over $60, which is steep for what is essentially a grab-and-go type of place rather than a traditional restaurant. It's best suited for lunch, but be prepared to shell out some cash. Other places offer similar food at lower prices. I’m giving it two stars for the quality, but the pricing is definitely a rough spot."

"centrally located in a shopping center near the Newbury connector haha. from the outside, the old school taco glocken vibes gives you the best possible way! they have a beautiful seating area in the inner as well as an outside terrace. when they go in them, they will be with the pictures of all the foods and drinks they have to offer. there is no error what they get when they order. the interieur is nothing special, but they have big tvs and the dodgers were up, so I don't have much to complain. they offer a lot of drinks like a michelada or camaronzito or even a cuerito not their run of the mill choice for a walk Mexican place. as soon as they order, they bring the spits and drinks to their table, which is a nice note. Food that we have ordered: free chips and salsachips were crispy and tasty they have a really good taste green salsapico di gallospicy salsa hard taco combo 3 tacos: shells deliciously crispy and homemade refried bon in any case a great local choice through a great staff."

"There is a reason this place gets 5 stars from so many people because this place has truly great pizza! This is now my favorite pizza place. I'm just sad it is so far from Long Beach. On the other hand, if there was one near Long Beach I'd probably be be trending +lbs and : The pizza crust is on the thin side and has the the ideal balance of crispness and chewiness to it. Not over doughy. It also has a generous amount of cheese and is not overly saucy. Another thing they offer at Toppers that I haven't had elsewhere is a killer topping: spicy pepperoni cups. It has a slight heat to it that really makes the pepperoni so flavorful! Finally, I also really enjoy their pizza cookie with ice cream. It is smaller than a pizzookie from the BJ's Pizzeria chain and about the size of Black Angus' cowboy cookie. But it is the tastiest out of all of them! It could be the Heath Bar chocolate and the bit of oatmeal they have in the batter, plus butter, that makes it so. Thankful to have found this new pizza spot to enjoy!"

"I understand that this place is a local favorite when it comes to burgers, but I wasn't very impressed. The atmosphere is decent, and the staff are friendly enough. However, given the prices, I expected the food to be better. A breakfast burrito costs $10.50, which is comparable to the price of a chicken burrito. I know inflation is a factor, but a breakfast for four people can end up costing around $50. To make matters worse, they also charge a credit card processing fee. I understand fees for debit cards, but credit card processing fees are just a normal cost of doing business for the owner. At the very least, they should disclose this fee at the time of purchase—or better yet, just include it in the prices, which are already quite high."

"This was my second visit to this restaurant, and it will likely be my last. One of the staff members, named Ari, is not only rude but seems to meticulously count every single piece of corn and shrimp she puts on the plates. I ordered shrimp, and I only received four pieces—not the first time this has happened. There were two people behind me, and another staff member helped them by serving generous portions of cucumbers, yet no one counted their servings. Ari provided the same service to the person behind the lady as well. I don’t think I'll be coming back. Ari, I think you could benefit from some customer service training!"

"I'm obsessed with this restaurant. I absolutely love the beef sauce, with a fantastic tahini sauce, but I also love the chicken sauce with a wonderful garlic sauce. Also, the Filet mignon kabobs, which were excellent, and I was very surprised by their wide bakery selection. Beautiful and delicious baklava, and a variety of other Middle Eastern pastries. I also tasted a warm sweet cheese dessert, which was also very beautiful. Try this place, I promise you it will be one of the favorite restaurants. All their menu items are amazing, plus they have very sweet owners, and helpful staff."

"I visited yesterday with my family to celebrate my 27th birthday. I like Olive Garden in general I think it brings an acceptable level of cuisine and service at reasonable price. So I was excited to celebrate my birthday at a great option. They also cater well to vegetarians. We walked in and were sat within 15 minutes on a busy night. Unfortunately, I forgot my ID, so I wasn't able to order my favorite drink! It was my birthday, so, it was worth it to go home and grab the ID real quick. I was a little disappointed, but I understand why they had to do what they did and they promised they would take care of me. And wow, did they! The manager personally seated us, and checked in from time to time. They went above and beyond to rectify a situation that ultimately, was kinda my own fault. And they sang me a pitch perfect happy birthday when they served my delicious dessert. Good food, good service, and excellent management you can tell because the staff seem generally happy to be there. My family, who were newcomers to Olive Garden and a little skeptical being that it was a chain, were actually pretty impressed."

"Vegan dream come true! This is my first time at Fresh Brothers since becoming vegan two years ago. I only went once before that. I called to make sure their dough was 100% vegan before going and was pleasantly surprised when they said all the dough uses unbleached flour and only cane sugar, so it's totally vegan. Also it's great that there isn't a separate vegan dough, as all the pizza dough is the same there. We got half of the pizza with vegan cheese sausage, added mushrooms. The other half is the vegetable pizza with artichokes added. My aunt had a member email so we got 10% off and it turned out to be about $26 including tax. Not to mention we got an XL and made it DEEP DISH!! The pizza looked huge and delicious when it arrived, unfortunately when we took a couple bites we saw that the dough was still quite undercooked/raw. So we took the pizza back in to cook longer but were told they couldn't because of health reasons since the pizza was touched. Which of course makes sense. The manager told us he'd make us a new one and gave us a box for this one to take home since it wasn't bad but just needed to go in the oven for longer. We waited 15-20 more minutes but it's okay because we were taken care of and I am happy with the customer service. The second pizza was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. I am very impressed by the overall experience and love the location as well. We sat outside and listened to the lovely live band. 5 Stars for sure :"

"I ordered the Cali Club Sandwich and wavy fries, but I was really disappointed. The sandwich tasted very old and was overly crispy, almost like it was burned. The fries also seemed like they had been sitting out for a while. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering from this Denny's again. I still ate the food because I was hungry and everything else was closed. I dislike leaving negative reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience."

"So impressed! The menu has a FULL page of vegan options also a full page of gluten free options! The free cheesy garlic rolls they bring to your table are to die for and you can request for them to make them vegan along with vegan butter! They brought us two plates full and asked without hesitation if we wanted them to bring more. So surprised they don't charge for these! I got the vegan southwestern pizza and it was so good. They give you an option of either Daiya or Follow Your Heart cheese which is a major plus. I also had the Chinese chicken salad with vegan chicken and it was so good! They have a whole list of vegan desserts from local bakery Karma Baker. Will definitely be going back to try more menu items"
