"Having had a positive experience at Villaggio Iccara once before, we suggested meeting there with family members who live at the opposite end of Jersey from us... meeting in the middle. We were even more impressed this time, so were they! As you enter, there is a charming dining patio, laid out with shrubbery, a magnificent tree, colorful umbrellas over each table. The interior ambiance is just as inviting, as the smell of great food greets you at the door. We were seated in the smaller 'wine room ' off to one side, relaxed semi private. I visited the ladies ' room, which can be the downside to many restaurants. It was beautifully appointed, absolutely pristine! Our outstanding server Alex made several trips to confer with Chef about my food allergy, with impeccable good nature. He delivered the info on specials without skipping a beat, was also able to help us select the perfect wines. Our food was beyond delicious. All four (different selections exceeded our expectations! I must add that we dined on a Monday, often a 'down ' night in many cases especially when it comes to seafood. (Note: the restaurant was approximately 3/4 full, which speaks to its popularity locally. I chose the crab cakes didn 't leave a crumb. They were nothing short of perfection. Chef even made a special light sauce for me. Unlike so many other places, VI does not need to overpower the unique taste of crab with heavy garlic nor Old Bay seasoning. My only complaint is that Villaggio Iccara is 45 minutes away from us, but without a doubt, we will visit again recommend it HIGHLY to anyone who loves a great dining experience."

"The restaurant features modern decor adorned with paintings of scenes from Spain, while the tables are beautifully dressed with linen. The discreet lighting casts a warm glow throughout the dining area, which was bustling even on a Wednesday night. The meal was exceptional, as we opted for a variety of dishes among our group of six. Our appetizers included stuffed clams, empanadas, scallops, and a platter of Spanish sausages with shrimp and mushrooms, all perfect for sharing. For my entrée, I chose the chef's special: boiled scallops in a lemon cream sauce served alongside bacon-wrapped filet mignon medallions in a mushroom sauce. The unexpected inclusion of sausage with the fillets added a unique twist to the flavor. The combination of the different sauces in our entrees was a delightful surprise for the palate. Other standout dishes included the paella marinara and two veal preparations—one in mushroom sauce and the other in lemon. We rounded off our meal with flan, crème caramel, sorbets, and a wonderfully creamy cappuccino. We were even treated to their signature after-dinner drink, a type of Amaretto liqueur. The service was impeccable; the friendly and attentive staff ensured all our needs were met, recognizing that we were there for a relaxed meal together. My only minor complaint would be their hesitation to serve water; we had to ask twice at the beginning and twice more for refills. However, we had no trouble getting additional bottles of wine, so this was only a small inconvenience. Although Malaga is a bit pricey, it is undoubtedly worth the visit."

"Our bill came to nearly $600, and throughout our meal, no one checked in on us to see if we needed anything or how our food was. This was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. We had praised Sibley Gardens to our family, as it was my husband's choice for this significant birthday, but it turned out to be a serious mistake. The food presentation was quite disappointing: the meat ravioli were enormous, measuring about 4x4 inches, and looked like something a child had made. The shrimp fettuccine had just four shrimp on top, and the scallops were similarly sparse with only four pieces. My tenderloin was served on a plain white plate for $48, and the only other item I received was a salad—no vegetables or any accompaniment to complement the meat on that large plate. The salmon was served in the same lackluster manner. Overall, the presentation was far too minimal and unappealing. If Sibley’s continues down this path of meager portions and poor service, they likely won't last long. The food was subpar, and the service was even worse. If given the chance to do it over, we definitely wouldn’t choose Sibley Gardens. We won’t be returning, nor will we recommend it to anyone—this experience was a significant waste of money! On a side note, the restaurant's accessibility for those with wheelchairs or walkers is very poor, with a long distance from the parking lot to the front door and then an inconvenient layout to enter the dining areas. Overall, it was a frustrating experience for everyone involved. "
