"We go to a lot of different breweries and hit this spot on our way out east, we're happy we explored a new place right outside Madison The ambiance is industrial; a cool, chill vibe with communal tables and some high top tables for a more intimate setting. There's a tv for the sport lovers and a secondary dining room to hang out with friends. This brewery is a little off the beaten path, about 10 min off Hwy 90, in an industrial park. I was pleasantly surprised they have several stouts on tap! I got the ice cream pasty stout, per the recommendation of the brewer and its excellent! It simultaneously tastes like ice cream while not being sweet. We also got some of their food and it was definitely pub food. We ordered their pretzel (not as good as I've had), burnt ends (just ok) and fries (with truffle aioli). The service was fast. The bathrooms are clean and generic, the indie music was great and once again, Wisconsin has impressed us with their homegrown, salt of the earth breweries but feel this place could be improved. Here's 3 ways it could improve: 1. It could use more plants and some books/games. There was a long shelf that had nothing on it that could be used for the customers' use. These things would make the place feel warmer. 2. The brewer asked me if I wanted 10 ounces and I said yes. She gave me a 7-ounce pour and charged me for the 10. I even remarked on this to the other brewer but he didn't make the change. 3. I love the name Octopi but noticed how the mural, glasses and merchandise were only of tentacles. The brewery would stand out more if it had some sort of clever octopus face, whether of just one eye, a smirk or something amusing. Just tentacles reminds of a any old sushi place. So because of these reasons, I give the brewery 3 stars."

"I would give zero stars if that were an option. After working in customer service for 14 years, I always treat service workers with respect. However, this was my worst customer service experience ever. Ordering online was a total waste of time. Our first order didn’t go through on our end, so we submitted a second order, only to find out that both orders were accepted. When we called the store, they told us they couldn’t refund or cancel one of the orders, but they would give us a free pizza coupon for our next visit, which we accepted. They confirmed that they had both of our orders. When we arrived at the store to pick up our two large pizzas and three cheese bread orders, only the pizzas were there. When we asked about the sides, we were told they were completely out. Why didn’t the website inform us of this? Or mention it when we called about the double orders? The staff member at the counter just offered his apologies but didn't mention the coupon we were promised. After discussing the issue further, another employee came out from the back and offered us the original coupon since she was the one we had spoken to. However, we were missing about $25 worth of our order, and we told them that one coupon wouldn't be sufficient. Both employees began arguing with us and said there was nothing they could do. When we asked to speak to a manager or leave our contact information, we were basically told that if the manager wasn’t physically present, no refunds would be issued, and leaving a note wouldn’t help either. One employee even suggested we take back our one pizza and leave a note for the manager. The other employee then started blaming the shortages on Little Caesars' recent closure and explained they opened late because they had to process a number of refunds. So, wait—you're able to issue refunds? I'm seriously questioning the management and how they could leave two teenagers in charge of running the store."
