"As frustrations mounted, our original waitress disappeared, and a new server took over. He couldn’t even provide the simple tortillas that should have accompanied our meals, which had already been served 10 minutes prior. When I requested a tea refill, he rolled his eyes at me, and I had reached my breaking point. I decided to speak with the manager.
The manager was somewhat apologetic, but he only approached our table once and failed to address the terrible service we experienced. Ultimately, I was taken aback by the lack of effort to check on us or offer a genuine apology. Instead, he seemed to defend his staff, claiming that the restaurant was his and expressing concern that I might not pay the bill, which I fully intended to do. In fact, he asked me to leave, making for a truly terrible experience.
With no management skills on display and such dismal service, it was an unfortunate outing. I wish we had chosen a different place so we could have enjoyed our family time in peace. Oh, and by the way, the food was mediocre at best."
