"The two star rating is just for the fact the food was warm when I picked it up. While placing a phone order, the hostess informed me that shrimp scampi was not available because it is from an outdated menu on Google, but the updated menu is on Facebook. I ordered the chicken francaise and my boyfriend ordered salmon, and apple crisp for dessert. I know that I could've prepared this meal better. The sauce for the chicken was bland, veggies also swimming in butter mashed potatoes was the only option which was disappointing. The apple crisp was made with canned overcooked apples. The dining out options are limited in the Hazelton, PA area and since we were just there for the weekend we chose Martin's. Gordon Ramsay needs to visit this place. It was a one and done for us."

"The chicken over rice was disappointing. The sauce had an unpleasant burnt and overly spicy mint flavor that was hard to enjoy. I was really taken aback! To make matters worse, they didn't follow my special instructions. Aside from the sauce, the chicken itself lacked any flavor. Overall, it was a total waste of money, and I won't be returning."

"First time visiting and discovered that we had been missing a spectacular dining experience. We come to the area often to visit my wife's parents and have been to every restaurant of note. Damenti's is definitely the best restaurant in the area. The food was perfectly prepared, and the service and atmosphere are also unmatched. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes, which were the best that we've had in years. My wife had the salmon stuffed with spinach and carrots. I had the Manhattan Clam Chowder, maybe the best I've ever had, and their famous Blue Cheese Salad, which definitely reflects the fanfare. Don't let the prices scare you because quality is top notch and portions are good size. You definitely get your monies worth, and you won't be disappointed. "Cory, the staff, and especially the female manager on the day shift never fail to impress! They are always friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciate that they never hesitate to bring water for my dogs when I ask. Overall, it's a fantastic team!"

"I went in with low expectations, but after my meal, I honestly can't understand how this place is still in business. The hash browns were undercooked, and the sausage tasted like it had been thawed and refrozen. The waitress was new and seemed unsure about how to do even the simplest tasks, like opening the drawer. Overall, this place is a complete disaster. To make matters worse, they add a gratuity charge to the bill! It's unbelievable! I had already tipped for the subpar food and mediocre service. I can't give a low enough star rating!"

"The menu offers a fantastic variety, and everything I've tried from here has been excellent! Today, I had a Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms, onions, sweet and hot peppers, and sauce, along with a side of baked mushrooms. As always, I was not disappointed!"

"The service at this restaurant was terrible, so I chose not to leave a tip. When I turned around to get something to drink, the woman behind the counter took my dollar in change and placed it in her tip jar without asking. I told her I hadn't agreed to that and that tips are optional based on the customer's discretion. She responded that the tips were shared and refused to return it. To me, that feels like theft. If they continue to treat customers like this, they're likely to find themselves out of business. Plus, the competition nearby offers better food."
