"If I recall correctly, I went in here about a week ago around 1 PM. First time here, found it on Google maps when I was just looking for somewhere I had never been. I cannot remember my server's name but he was a nice young man who provided amazing service. Fast, friendly and he checked back with me to ask how the food was the food was absolutely divine by the way! I had the lunch special. I went with the half chicken parm sandwich with potato wedges and the minestrone soup. It was so good I'm practically salivating on my keyboard as I type this... and it was only $15.99 trust me, the portions are big enough and the quality high enough to warrant the price tag AND make it feel like you got a great deal. I myself was not hungry for the rest of the day and believe me that's saying something. The decor was both elegant and inviting at the same time. It's a very swanky looking place but they didn't look sideways at me for walking in wearing shorts, a pair of well worn hightops and a Motorhead T shirt (in my defense: it was hot that day, I had no idea where I was going as it was my first visit and that band is awesome) Oh and speaking of music: they play some real classy tunes here. In the 45 minutes or so I spent dining and relaxing inside, I swear I heard some Dean Martin in there along with a bunch of other guys I don't know but definitely need to discover. The music, in my opinion, really helped to enhance the overall atmosphere. All in all, I think I found a new favorite Italian spot and I will definitely be stopping in whenever I'm in the area. Oh and don't worry about the Rams field or whatever's going on around the place, they are indeed open for business. The exterior of the surrounding (former) business locations and the lot may lead you to think the whole place is abandoned but at least finding parking is definitely NOT going to be an issue. I personally call that a plus."

"Thank the awesome service of the server, whose name is Christy. She made the overall experience amazing. That's what going out to eat is about not just the taste of the food but everything and that can be dictated by the service all in itself. Christy is a gem. I hope that the owners understand and appreciate her. The food was ok. My dish was the biscuits and gravy combo, and I will have to say I was a bit disappointed. The scalians on top of the biscuits and gravy overpowered the taste way too much, of course, which means they were fresh, but they were too generous with what they put on top. I did ask for additional gravy to improve taste, but the gravy itself is not extremely flavourful. I would expect it to be from a soul food dish. The biscuits were not fluffy they were crumbly. The eggs, though three are designated, we're not fluffy. They are also not very tasty, which leads me to question where the eggs come from and how fresh they are. My daughter says that normally, it's the chicken and waffles that are amazing. Next time. I come, that is what I will try. In addition, the morning delivery was blocking the disabled parking spot, which only there is one of, and the parking lot full in the back. This is illegal. I understand this space is small, but delivery should happen before hours or not be blocking that space. When I mentioned it, I was given excuses and not action. I had to stop the gentleman. I was speaking to and tell him to hear what I was saying. There are many selections to choose from on the menu, so I'm not going to assume my experience with my dish was the only one. I would care to guess with how popular the place is and the fact that my daughter likes It ... it means that there are other things on the menu that are fabulous. I do recommend this place. Everything was it's exceptional in the way of service and our food coming out quickly correctly and hot. Anything we asked for came right away. It was a very enjoyable meal and atmosphere. It was my daughter's birthday, so they came out with a waffle surprise with whip cream and berries that was extremely tasty. I will be back."

"I absolutely love a place that has misters and really great tables as soon as you get there. This famous diner has been around for quite a while it’s so famous because Roy Orbison actually had his own booth there… The recording studio right behind the restaurant was home to many famous bands and they had to have a place to eat so they naturally came here. One thing you’re gonna love here is the bacon no matter what you order for breakfast you’re gonna have to try the bacon and I had to jump right on the breakfast burrito I didn’t get the potatoes inside because I can’t eat those but I got plenty of avocado I’ll sorts of wonderful jalapeños tomatoes cheese and bacon to make for one of the most savory breakfast I’ve had in quite some time. You’ll see from my photos the people that I was dating with also ordered many other items but I was grateful to have fruit as a side option as unfortunately in my old age I have to be very careful about what I eat but I found a place that they’re reasonable price was able to make it worth my while. Our server and our best but we’re incredibly friendly my coffee cup was never empty and I was super happy to try everything I recommend coming here and of course as always try the bacon I’ve also taken photographs to show the steps they’re taking to keep everybody safe during this troubling time your dining experience will be wonderful, your food will be fresh, and everyone will be able to dine safely, well done Bobby’s!!"

"Update: Nothing has changed. ordered online, came to pick it up to order, and said that they did not start my order due to the online ordering company, not calling it. They also said that it is not their fault, although it is how you place an online order via their website. I'm not coming here anymore. Always. The first experience was amazing. We ordered the Jalea de Pescado y Mariscos and was delighted with an assortment of tastefully fried seafood. Her salsa criolla was a perfect topping as it was full of free taste. The service was slow, but attentive. I couldn't tell you what else we ordered, either because it was overshadowed by seafood or it was just forgotten. Our second visit was all about the service or lack there. We waited 15 minutes to sit in a rather empty facility while we noticed, but ignored. We waited 15 more ignorant minutes after sitting. We went after a new customer arrived, ordered drinks, received the drinks and placed their food orders. They were sitting right opposite us. The third visit, about a year or so later, still dream of this amazing Jalea de Pescado y Mariscos, was most likely our last visit. To avoid their terrible service, we have placed a takeout order online. Ordering online was quite simple, but the menu was missing pictures and/or enough descriptions. Upon arrival I was greeted with Dekain as if my presence was annoying and undesirable. I was screamed, not spoken. After they politely asked about my paid for the takeover order, they finished my stuff. Jalea de Pescado y Mariscos was abismal. Salsa de criolla's taste was exaggerated by lemon. The Pollo a la brasa was tasteless compared to the local competition. The Tallarines Verdes Con Milanesa tasted by shop bought Alfredo and Pesto. Come to your own risk. Good luck."

"Most of our experience was great. Unfortunately it was clouded by one serious problem that set the tone for how inconsistent this restaurant is. We had dined here in April and our server at that time had told us about the Hess Wine dinner. None of us drink so a wine dinner did not appeal to us plus we had already decided on what we wanted to eat that night. She told us that the deal would be around until mid June and that there was a price without the wine pairings. A couple days after we had eaten there we were curious about the experience so we called the restaurant and asked what the price would be without the wine pairings and were quoted which seemed reasonable and we decided we would definitely go back before the deal ended. Based on our schedules we made the reservation for early June and when we asked our waiter about it he said it was the same price whether we had the wine or not. We explained what we had been told previously and he sent his manager over who said to do the dinner without the wine pairing was actually so we might as well do the wine. As non drinkers it was quite a slap in the face to be told we would be punished for not being drinkers. And since one of us was driving we didn’t appreciate that type of message. We again explained what we were told previously and she agreed that they were doing that early on in the deal but decided to stop offering that. This really felt like a bait and switch moment. We ended up choosing not to have the meal we drove minutes for and made other selections. The food we ordered was wonderful and our server was absolutely great. He was sympathetic to our situation even though he couldn’t do anything about it. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly and was well seasoned. We also really love the outdoor patio they have.Going forward we will likely choose to dine at Morton’s down the street since they are always consistent and don’t change their minds about their deals half way through a promotion"
