"We’ve been in town for several weeks on a job and Ribeyes was the first restaurant we tried. They were doing construction on the outside so we were a little confused on which door to enter. We went in the first door from the parking lot and kind of felt like we were slipping in the back door. There was not hostess stand but we continued to see patrons come in thru that door so I guess it is the actual entrance. We walked into a banquet room that had a large party going on. We walked around the corner and the place was nearly empty and no one greeted us so we opted to just sit at the bar. It appeared there was a hostess stand across the room. (Atmosphere would have been 5 stars if there hadn’t been confusion on where to go and sit The atmosphere was nice and felt a more bit upscale than i expected. There was candle light on the tables and live music (which was really good! The bartender (maybe the owner, too was very friendly and attentive, even while training another bartender. We ordered fried mozzarella and cocktails. The cocktails were strong and tasty but the appetizer was disappointing; especially considering the atmosphere, menu, and prices. I describe food like that as “sysco” foodright out of the sysco freezer and onto my plate. Even the marinara sauce was a fast food plastic/peel back cup. He ordered the ribeye and I ordered a salad. The salad was just ok. Nothing special and bottled dressingSysco, as well as the roll and potato. It took a long time to finally get the steak meal to the table and then the server heard us talking about the steak being under cooked and took it back. After waiting again, it was decent but the preparation or cut of meat was nothing special that would warrant “market price”. I felt like everything we had was unnecessarily overpriced. We travel/eat out a lot and don’t mind spending money for a fine dining experience and delicious dinner. That night our bill was over 120$ for one steak, a hard baked potatoes, an extra side salad, frozen cheese sticks, and a couple of single liquor cocktails each. When dining in a restaurant with prices like this, I expect exceptional quality and flavor and it just wasn’t there. Others that travel with our work crew dined on a separate occasion and had the same experience. It’s unfortunate because the potential for an amazing restaurant is there."

"Today I called Tom’s on Main to place a order a waitress picked up the phone I asked if I could place a order she said we out of fish and hamburger steak.I told her ok I called her back not even 2 minutes later I told her I wanted to get the bbq tenderloin she tells me we out of that to I tell her I just called and they weren’t out of it she tell me “look we are really busy stuff leave fast “ with a attitude so I hung up got on my car and drove to there restaurant when I got there the owner the guy at the register took my order I said can I place a order he said yes but I believe we out of the chicken I told him I wanted the bbq tenderloin he said yes we still have it ! I was surprised cause the mean waitress on the phone said differently which is why they getting this bad review they are usually a good restaurant but today the service was awful because of one person who didn’t wanna take a order over the phone !"

"Arrived about 6:30 on a Wednesday with a large group and were seated immediately as the restaurant wasn’t very busy. It’s a dive kind of place so the atmosphere is just thatwhich I don’t mind. It’s the lack of air conditioning in 100° summer heat made the experience more unpleasant. It was hot inside! They had several window units throughout but no way to keep it cool considering the structure. Not the place to go to eat during the heat of the summer. We ordered the fried green beans and boudin ball; both were delicious! Also got half dozen oysters on the half shell that were good sized and the pound of peel and eat shrimp plate (comes with 1/2 corn on the cob, one small new potato, and one small piece of sausage). The shrimp and sides were seasoned well however the shrimp weren’t deveinedand I couldn’t bring myself to clean them at the table to eat. The beer/wine selection is typical of this kind of dive. They had the regular stuff and a couple options for truly and high noon. The service was excellent and others with us complimented their meals. The security guy helped to stop traffic for all of us to back out on a busy highway when we left which i thought was super nice! I would go back- but not in the summer time and I would def order something different next timeI just can’t do shrimp with a mud vein in it."

"Four months ago, I took my grandfather to Jackson to arrange a doctor's appointment, and we stopped at lunch. The manager had orders, It was the most pleasant fast food experience I had in a while. I asked for a blackening and wondered if I needed more. How much are they? He said Sauce is always free to appreciate customers. The food was perfect. Thank you."

"This place has to have the worst customer service of all the restaurants I have ever visited in my LIFE! A co-worker order two orders and when I arrived at the window the lady said my order was $24.00. I told her that couldn't be right, I ordered a rib plate. She stated that's not what the lady ordering said! I heard my co-worker order the correct entrée but didn't say anything and she took the food back to change it. At this point I don't have a problem. The lady returns and said everything is correct now and I gave her the credit cards for payment. I also asked for extra BBQ sauce since the sign at the drive through said condiments only given on request. She jerked back like I spit on her and said she didn't request that with the order? I just said please. So I got my cards back and the extra BBQ sauce and went back to the office. When I opened my plate I had 3 ribs and one was the little end piece with hardly any meat. $16.62 they charged me for 2 1/2 ribs!! I called Clancy's and spoke to the same lady who helped me in the drive thru and she said that's what is cost and if I didn't like I could bring it back but they were busy she didn't have time to discuss it. I asked, so 3 ribs for $16.62 and she said yes! Needless to say I won't ever return to this place and the food wasn't bad but it was that special either."

"I've been dining here on and off for 13 years, but I've finally decided to let this place go and hope they close down for good. The owner frequently changes the prices and claims there are service charges ranging from $2 to $5 when you pay for your meal. The prices seem to fluctuate constantly. The food is just okay; it's neither good nor great. The staff is friendly, but they lack customer service skills. Many people rave about the food here, but honestly, you could make a better meal at home, and it wouldn't cost as much. The other two Mexican restaurants in town far surpass this one in every way, especially when it comes to flavor."

"The ambience was terrible. Even though we sat in the restaurant they left the door to the bar open and we could not hear ourselves talk over the karaoke singers. Our waitress did not put our order in when she took it the first time. So 20min later she comes back and retakes our order. When we finally get our food almost an hour after we got to the restaurant, 3 of our orders(half of our party) were incorrect. One order was so incorrect my friend just sent the whole plate back and did not eat. We asked for things like ketchup, crackers, etc and never got them. When we finally asked for the ticket to pay and leave we realized why our order was so incorrect. The waitress still didn’t have a ticket for us. We had to tell them what we ordered so that they could create a ticket for us to pay. Because of this, it took almost 30min to settle our bill(we didn’t get separate checks, it was all together). And with all of this they tacked on gratuity of 20% because we were a party of six. I will never eat there again. No one apologized for the inconvenience."

"Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The food was terrible, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was appalling. The menus were filthy, and there were stacks of clutter on tables in the corners, not to mention the dirty floor. We received a menu with prices scratched out, only to be told it wasn’t the correct one. The second menu had prices altered, and they didn’t correspond with what was actually charged. The food was outrageously overpriced—$50 for two plates without any drinks! The ribs tasted as if they had just come out of the oven and were slathered in barbecue sauce. I learned my lesson: I should have left as soon as I saw the mess on the tables. I will definitely not be returning."

"I stopped here with my three kids who are all biracial on the way home from our vacation to Florida. We like to try local places along the way and when we got hungry, this is where we were and stopped here based off reviews. I wish I had read the negative ones before visiting. They were very slow to get our drink order then took a long time to even bring drinks then to take our food order. My oldest felt uncomfortable so decided to go outside since they didn’t have what she wanted on the menu. They told me all the high chairs were in use so there wasn’t one for my one year old. The chicken was good and the rest of the food was mediocre, not very well seasoned. The banana pudding had a very artificial flavor, not homemade. When we were done eating my oldest took the kids out to the car while I went to the restroom and was paying. I went to the restroom for two to three minutes max and come back to my table cleaned off and my checks in the waitress’s hand and her saying oh I thought you left. So they were slow at everything else but super quick to assume that we left without paying. So disgusting of them when I was nothing but patient and nice despite their slow service. I can only assume the reason why they thought so low of me. We will definitely not be back and I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you’re white. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Even after that, I still gave a tip but wish I wouldn’t have and wish I would’ve said something. I just took the check out of her hand and took it to the register. Very disappointing."
