"I never thought I 'd be the type to order sandwiches by delivery. I fancy myself to be somewhat chefy and if I 'm going to bother with a restaurant at all, I want to order something I can 't easily make myself at home. How hard is it to make your own friggin sandwich? But due to the complications of having children with early bedtimes, sandwich loving friends with very late ones who were nice enough to drop in and bring the party to us, and a shortage of key grocery items at home, we did the once unthinkable: We ordered sandwiches by delivery. I have to confess we were pleasantly surprised. If you choose the hero option $1), you receive a sandwich the size of a small baby. Good thing if you value a high calorie to cost ratio. More importantly for us, though, the ingredients were of pretty good quality: The bread, even this late in the day, was fresh and nicely toasted. Vegetables shredded iceberg lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes mostly) were fresh, the tomatoes ripe. Roast beef in the Godfather was an unadulterated product. And cole slaw was very mayonnaisey, but absolutely delicious as a sandwich ingredient. The downsides: A lot of the sandwiches especially the hot ones were pretty dry. It wasn 't anything that mustard or a quick batch of homemade aioli couldn 't fix, but the Godfather could 've benefited from a lot more of the delicious sauteed onions, which had only a tiny cameo performance in the production. The Cuban was pretty bastardized if you care about authenticity. Instead of roast pork and boiled ham, the deli uses turkey deli meat and run of the mill deli ham. This rendition is healthier, I guess, but some of us enjoy that artery clogging fatty roast pork, which adds all that lovely moisture to the sandwich. The bread was the same hero bread used for all our sandwiches; a lighter, airier Cuban bread would 've better balanced the fillings. But that 's an across the board ding for 99.99999% of Cuban sandwiches sold in NYC. If we 're ever in need of a delivery sandwich again, we wouldn 't mind ordering from this little deli again. The delivery guy was nice and the food came quickly. But I do hope never to sink this low again. Next thing you know I 'll be ordering in for a PBJ or smoothie. I shudder to think."

"My family was looking for a unique place for dinner after a long day at Water Country USA. We found Craft 31 and decided to try it. The restaurant was about a 10 minute drive from the water park and is easy to find. There is a good-sized parking lot with spaces around the entire property. When we entered the restaurant, we were seated immediately with an option to sit inside or outside. To the right was a nice size bar area and to the left is where the main dining area is located. The server came over quickly and dropped a card on the table with his name making it easy to remember his name (Noah). We tried three margarita flights with salt and a flight of beer which come with four drinks each. Both were very good, but I would recommend the sugar rimmed glasses for the margaritas as they are flavored and not your typical traditional margarita. For food, we ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer which came with about 12 mini pretzel bites and a cup of beer cheese. My wife and I each had a salad with added chicken. The kids ordered the cheeseburger kids meal and a pizza. The salads were very fresh and the chicken was tender. The cheeseburger kids meal came with two mini slider cheeseburgers and the pizza had six slices and was a good size. All the food was prepared quickly and the server was attentive to our needs. Towards the end of our dinner the lights started to flicker and then went out completely about five minutes after the flickering started. The servers and the managers were very apologetic at no fault of their own as it was local power outage in the area. We had a 15% off coupon to use for the bill, however since the power was out they could not traje the coupon as discount. Instead, they offered a larger discount for our meal due to the inconvenience which was a surprise because the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend Craft 31 if you visit the Williamsburg area looking for a unique dining experience. The food and drinks are great and the service is top notch. Thanks again Noah for the great service!"
