"Our family dined here on a Saturday night. They seem to do mostly take out and it was really quiet in the restaurant. The ambiance could be better, but the staff was friendly. We tried the pad thai, some curries, and the orange chicken. The food was standard Thai flavorings and fine. The curries were really watery which wasn't what I would expect. We got baby egg rolls for the starter and those were a hit with our toddler. All in all it was a nice family dinner good for a neighborhood spot for takeout, but probably won't dine in again.Parking: Paid street parking on western typically available"

"If this is a Thai restaurant then I am the princess of whales. Seriously what is with the five star reviews? Ate here on a whim while grocery shopping. Ordered the crab fried rice with added shrimp and beef which I usually at my fave place an hour away.Yes I drive an hour to eat in orange, ca First off the crab is plentiful but it tastes like nothing so pointless. The shrimpwas hot but tasted cold like metal. Inedible and gross. Beef was like eating tissue paper. All I could taste in CRAB* BEEF* andSHRIMP* fried rice soy sauce and chili. The food is an insult to the animals that died to provide their meat. What a waste oftime and money. Hopefully I don?t get sick as I?m not sure you get shrimp beef and crab to be tasteless. It?s definitely a workof art. Save your money and eat frozen Thai food from Trader Joe?s. It?s much better. Ps: restaurant owner Even if you don?tknow how to cook, using fresh, quality ingredients will always save the dish."

"Place doesn't look like a restaurant inside, looks like a store or office. Water served in plastic bottles. Unfriendly waitress grabbed menu from my hands so hard she sent a fork flying, and she wasn't mad about anything. Got appetizers after 30 minutes. Dumplings were cold. Thai spring rolls were all lettuce, $6.95. Over an hour for entrees, the other two parties are still waiting. The third party gave up and left. Rice is mealy and overcooked, the curry I could have made better at home in half the time. No spices, broc and green beans are frozen. My boyfriend's dish has a few, a very few, frozen green beans and carrots, hardly any chicken, and both are loaded with salt. He left 90% on his plate and he was (is) hungry. Thai Orchid in Berwyn is way better! We are now leaving with most of the food still on the plate and getting a pizza."

"This restaurant has been there since the first opening of the River City Marketplace and for good reasons. The first thing you notice is how clean it is. Everything is clean and tidy. The smell is fantastic! Then there is food; absolute perfection! We had the salad cases for an appetizer, the price was much less than what one would expect for quality and quantity! Then, the main dishes Basil fried with chicken and pad Thai with shrimps. Perfectly seasoned! The service is the icing on the cake. The staff is professional, clean and clearly dedicated to making your food experience five stars. HIGHLY RECOMMENDS Green Papaya!"

"This is my all-time favorite Thai spot in Chicago. The fried chicken app is phenomenal. Wish they still had Yum-woon-sen salad, but they have so many alternatives it is very hard to be disappointed. "We ordered to-go thru Uber. Even after sitting for 20+ minutes the food was incredible. We got the crispy chicken and chicken skewers. The meat was fantastic and the pancit, lumpia, rice and veggies were excellent. I got the 3 on the spice scale and it was almost my limit in spice, I loved it. I cant imagine how spicy 5 is.
