"As for the vegetables, the corn and green beans were rather basic, reminiscent of cafeteria food; they seemed to be simply boiled with minimal seasoning—nothing special.
When we visited, there was some sort of local charity meeting happening, making the restaurant feel quite crowded, but only about four tables were occupied by diners while around twenty people were attending the meeting.
The dining area has a distinctly Texan vibe, decorated with plenty of cowboy and Southwestern elements. There’s even a shrine-like display of John Wayne photos, complete with hot sauce hangers and other memorabilia. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.
Pricing was reasonable—my meal, along with my wife’s burger and three drinks, totaled under $45. I would definitely return if I’m in the area again."
