"Overall Urban Roadhouse is a simple but nice restaurant that serves good, but not great, food in a comfortable environment. We visited to take my mom out to dinner and were not disappointed. The service was okay, but she was clearly busy and drinks were often late in arriving. The food was okay, but a bit expensive based on how it was served and the food was served incorrectly, in that, the side dishes were wrong my mom ordered mashed potatoes and received fries and green beans and several other examples. The food was warm but not very hot and this led to a rapid cool down as we were not in a hurry. That was the most disappointing piece of the experience. I think the restaurant is more focused on quick eats and bar food and avoid the steak that I ordered."

"A fun and unique place with good food and great service! Stopped in early on a weekday and got treated to a booth in the plane with no wait time. The gentleman who sat me told me the history of the restaurant as we walked through the large dinning room (big enough to fit a plane wing in) past the bar, and up the steps into the cabin. The servers were both friendly and helpful. They suggested some great food and drinks and were happy to chat with myself and some of the guests as we waited on the food. Many of the people working in the restaurant are former military. The pricing was about average for a sit down restaurant around this area and the quality was similar as well. What really stood out were the fries. They were potatoes wedges cut thin and fried perfectly. The only downside was getting undercooked meat. I've gone back a few times and each time my order comes out a little more rare than I ordered it. If you're a picky person just order one stage up from normal. Seems to produce the best results. Another thing that made the wait time go quickly was a visit to the pilot's seat. They encourage guests to visit the front of the plane and sit in the pilot's seat. It was a very fun time and made waiting with younger ones much easier. All around a fun and unique experience that's worth visiting while in Colorado Springs."

"I would be one whom would question the quality of employment here along with other factors. I say this because those who have worked for equivalent establishments. While in training, if they were the server they received the tip given. In higher end establishments where a mandatory 20% tip is required. Obviously better quality of food, better quality establishment, better service, etc. The tip is equally split among the server’s even those in training. In this establishment the server in training is to forfeit their tips to the trainer. Fair? I think not, disrespectful, distasteful and ill manner of those training. Might even be a little greedy of the trainers. Overall, very unprofessional in the restaurant industry. Practically bullying in a sense, wonder why it’s hard to keep good help."
