"This place is always bustling and offers delicious, fresh, and hot bagels and breakfast sandwiches. They have a wide selection of salads, cream cheeses, and deli sandwiches. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it can be quite pricey and the service could use some improvement. Paying $6.75 for an everything bagel with a requested spread of vegetable cream cheese seems outrageous. I understand that food prices are rising, but that's still pretty steep. However, if you find yourself in Long Beach and are craving a quality breakfast sandwich or a fresh bagel, this is the spot to visit. I would come back, but I hope they reconsider their pricing and service."

"This location has really gone downhill. I had to start the conversation at the speaker to get someone to take my order after waiting about 10 minutes. They allowed me to order rolls with my meal, even though they only serve biscuits. When I mentioned I ordered rolls, they informed me it would take another 15 minutes. By that point, I had already been in the drive-thru for 30 minutes. Initially, I thought they might be short-staffed, but when I got to the window, I saw five employees mostly just standing around. The worst part of the experience was getting home and discovering they gave me gravy that was as watery as soup. It looked more like milk than gravy. I really blame the owners of this location. There have been complaints for months, but nothing seems to change. I wish I had checked the reviews before going, as it would have saved me both time and money."

"I recently visited this restaurant through the drive-thru and I found the service to be disappointing. The girl working at drive-thru register number 3 on July 12, 2022, at 3:15 pm was quite rude. She made a rude remark when we placed our order, and when we asked for utensils for our sides, she reassured us they were in the box, but they were not. Additionally, the portions of food we received in the combo meals were very small and not worth the price of $8.99 each. Overall, I do not recommend dining at this establishment."

"Worst management and workers I've ever seen!!!! Manager is super rude and her attitude reflects the attitude of the workers who then take it out on you. Seems like a power trip and it sucks because the fresh and hotness off the food makes the whole experience suck. The ice machine wasn't even filled and they manager can't come tell a customer sorry but makes excuses loud enough for you to hear want she's tell the employee to tell you. Very rude staff. There corporate office must get enough complaints they don't even have proper connect to direct you to people other than the same people in store. "I asked the Drive-thru attendant if they had any fish made up...she stated, Yes . So I ordered a 3 piece fish dinner for me and chicken for my 10-year-old. Then drove around to the pick-up window. After waiting 10 minutes, the attendant told me theyonly had one piece of fish and it would be an additional 10-minute wait for the other two pieces. She asked did I want my moneyback. I said, Yes, So it took you 10 minutes to tell me there was no fish? She said Yes ...and just gave me this blankstare. Then she said, Would you like a refund? . I said, Yes . She handed me a refund slip for the entire order. I said, What about the chicken? She said, You still want the chicken? . By this time I was really irritated as most people mightbe. So I said, Yes I want the chicken and I shouldn 't have to pay for it at this point. I wanna talk to your manager. Sheclosed the window. 10 minutes later, a gentleman came to the window and said, Can I help you? . ...as if he didn 't know whatwas happening. This gentleman claimed to be the manager but acted like a high school dropout street brawler. He called me buddy when he said the fish was made to order. That I got my refund, what else do I want? I told him I wouldn 't have orderedthe fish if the attendant would 've told me there was none made up, I would 've ordered Chicken instead. Then he said if you wantthe chicken you ordered you 'll have to pay for it. I told him he doesn 't act like a manager. He then told me he was the owner. …I just drove off. Can you imagine his competitors acting like this? If you are reading this review Mr. Manager/Owner, I 'mnot your buddy . This place is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! -Charles"

"Was in just after their lunch rush and was presented our food very quickly after we ordered. The young lady behind the counter was extremely pleasant as was the manager that checked on us as we ate. The food was good. Biskits are among my favorites. Fries are as well. The chicken is always spot on a tender and when you add that spice packet, it kills twice! Overall, this location is always worth it when I am in the area."

"The last five times I've been through the drive-thru I have gotten home and found my food doesn't match my order. Tonight I was going to go into the lobby so that I would be able to check each box before I left. However, while I was getting out of my car, parked right in front of the main door, someone came to the door, looked at me and locked the door with no explanation. So I had to go back through the drive thru window. At the outside menu board I specifically asked them to repeat my order and check it for accuracy before handing it to me. The order taker repeated my order; I drove about twenty feet; and my order was already bagged and waiting. I asked the window person if my order had been checked for accuracy and he assured me that it had. Of course it was incorrect. I got home with one cookie instead of the I had ordered. Oh well......................................."

"Chicken tenders tasted like they had thin fish bones in it because of how dry it was when you would tear them apart. The pieces were extremely small, some even looked like they were rolled in a little ball and resembled nuggets. They charged for every sauce which I wasn?t charged for at another Chicken Express but I assume every one is different. I wouldn?t go here again, too expensive for the quality of food, or lack thereof."

"I recently moved away from OKC I saw a billboard for Swadley's and realized how much I was missing my favorite BBQ. I made a quick trip thru the drive-thru and was taken back by the request for a tip. On a metal rod, she pushed a credit card machine towards me, into my vehicle, telling me I could leave a tip. This machine was literally between me and my steering wheel. WOW!! I guess I was so astonished she said if you don't want to leave a tip you can just press the red x button, after I did that she gracefully removed the objects out of my car. The food was great as always, but WOW!! In my face and inside my vehicle, to leave her a tip? Who gets those tips and for what service? Does Swadley's really not pay their drive-thru help enough money?? #tippedout #overtipping"
